Giuseppe Aleotti [Aliotti] detto Mazzone
(18th Century)

Italian organist and composer. Nothing is known about his life and career but he was probably active as organist before 1743. His extant work are mainly for organ and one set of 14 organ pieces was included in the "Libro di suonate d'organo di diversi autori ad uso di Giacomo Poffa da Cremona" (Cremona, 1743), currently preserved in the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. He also wrote a symphony in D for two horns and strings (c.1756) and the opera 'Arnolfo' premiered in the Teatro Regio Ducale of Milan (26 December 1739). #ClassicalMusic
