It should be a great one today. Let's listen in and enjoy it along with everyone else.
There's the Tunisia starting lineup. They make one change, leaving out Anis Ben Slimani and
bringing in Naeem Sleet. They were thinking, I'm told, of a lot of changes after their 4-1
defeat against France. In fact, they make only one. I don't think we're going to get the
Australia who have had to change their kits today.
Routine here, Karacic, he's got good distance on it as well. Oh, Leckie's picked up again,
he lost position in a dangerous area. Skiddy, Nesaknyi spread to play, and here's Skiddy,
Djibali, Abdi's arriving, and Nesaknyi's there as well and can't keep it in play,
but that was the best yet from the North Africans. And that's just a great example
on both sides of what this game is going to look like. Nesaknyi just can't get his first touch
right, and the Australian defenders do a good job of just ushering him out of bounds, but
you're right, Ian, that's going to... Good so far from Australia, this, and Djuku the header
puts Australia at a huge moment for the Socceroos. And it's really, really well orchestrated here
from the Aussies. The initial ball out of the back, the hold-up play, the runs off the ball.
The timing and the precision on this glancing header, that's a striker's goal, a pure striker's
goal, just instinct, knowing where he is, knowing where the keeper is, and knowing where he needs
to find on the target, just a glancing header, and he finds a way to put his side up here 1-0.
Well deserved. What a great camera shot that was. Those are the instincts of a number nine,
always knowing where you are on the pitch, knowing where the goalie is,
and they just seize in the moment. Lucky to pick it up again. Now then Masakni,
off on one of those dribbles, they tried to take him out, or Rose did anyway, couldn't do
even that, he thought, by beating Peru in their playoff. Here's Jabari, he's got a chance here
though to equalize, if he can get it right. Masakni lays it, and then a fantastic block
prevents the equalizer to keep themselves alive in this World Cup. Good win with another good
looking delivery, and that picks it up again in midfield. Talk of him getting a big money move,
but he's struggled to get into this, but there is Masakni. Oh, what a chance.
Sleety with the delivery, Ryan comes for it, and got something on it, important. Irvine
can pick it up here. Danger here, in again, another lovely looking delivery.
From Leckie, but he couldn't get a stop. Just a fraction of an inch, I was suspecting that one,
but through here, Masakni's effort, beaten away, wanted to hit that across the goalkeeper,
I fancy there still might be something for Tunisia. And this is his first opportunity
on that left foot, it's a comfortable save at the near post there. Good performance last night,
went the result they wanted, dancing around dangerously in there, but
again, it will not happen for Masakni. But much better, look at the number of bodies that are in
the box when that cross comes in. You have one, two, three, Ali Abdi coming as a trailing runner
as well. Masakni, to get it away, and that's a mistake, which allows Tunisia in here. Tremendous
recovery from Harisouta. You reach there, Okanese, and you see the strong challenge
one called upon in this game, and made some plays and decisive moments for his side.
Katrida here, cutting it back, and Kasri was there, deflected goalwards, but only into
the grateful arms of Matt Ryan. Needs a good cross here, Shkiri delivers that,
needs to grab it, and does, and that will be a feeling, something incredible for Australia.
And they've got it, they've got the three points,
but Australia, they come from a land down under, and they've won here, 1-0.
