Croatia vs. Canada, Highlights World Cup 2022, Match #4 Group F

Toby Jones, JP Della Camera. One change here for Croatia. Yeah, one change for Croatia, but the player to pay attention to in the back. Here we go for Canada. We want to pay attention to number 11, Hazon Buchanan. Croatia's on the ball. Off his left foot. Brought down by Kyle Lahren. The only change in their starting XI from Game 1. Here's Canada advancing. Into the box! Headed! Guppies! He attacks it, and what a header. This is a thing of beauty. Gets up, heads it down. Classic, exactly how they riot it up. And puts Canada up 1-0 with the first goal for Canada. Modric. Chance here. Shot taken. With each pass, and now inside. And there's the tying goal. Just opening up and getting into the right space. And off of this one, Atiba Hutchinson just allows Gromaric to go past him. Get that 5 yards of separation. You allow this. Gromaric, he's already been dangerous at one time. From right there, he just pushes it. Nice moves there. Juranovic on the go. Somebody's going to stop him, and they do with Miller. But it's still going free. That's allowed to get through. It's a missed tackle. Yes, the deflection goes right back to the Croatian player. But it ends up being Lavia that finds himself. From distance. Osorio, dribbling. Shing! Wow. When he left his foot, I thought it was in. No, it looked good. Gromaric, nice cutting ball. Modric with the angle, playing it in the middle. Shot! Shing! This is a huge save from Bojan. And to make sure that this game is still possibly in reach. Gromaric steps up right at the penalty spot. Dropping it. Quick shot taken! Late runs, which Canada really needs. Runs from a deeper position. That can throw defenses off. And then David tries to get this one. Perisic. With Inter, playing it across the way. Settled there. Shot taken! Croatia have extended another. Croatia. This is exactly what you want to do. Perisic. It's an easy move and he's able to get the cross off. And then you see at the far post, Gromaric is able to trap the ball down. Pass it. Actually take a touch into space for himself between two defenders. And then pick out the far post. It's way too easy. And you see it right there. Miller doesn't step into the space and defend. Buchanan doesn't step and drop back to defend. To a great ovation. As Vlasic will come on. They still didn't flash the number for Adekebe. Perisic. Digs into the box. Perisic. That's blocked. It comes free. Let off. Saved by Borean. Take a look here. This is a great shot here. It's the first save by Borean. And then it allows us with the second save. Look at that ball. That adds insult to injury. Yeah, that's got to hurt. Miller just a critical mistake. The ball going right through the legs. It allows a quick breakout. I believe this is Orsic with the ball. Passes it over. Big win for Croatia over Canada. So Croatia the most goals by them in a World Cup match since 2014 when they shut out Cameroon for nothing.
