Brazil vs. Switzerland, Highlights World Cup 2022, Match #4 Group G

This is Brazil. This is the team that I'm picking to win the World Cup. This is the team that is number one right now and this is a team coming up against a Switzerland that they should not only win but they should win easily. There's two changes for Chiche with Danilo and Neymar both picking up injuries in their opening match against Serbia. This group only has one change. It's a bit of a surprise. Noshakiri, some Swiss media is reporting he picked up a thigh injury. Lovely play by Bacchetta for Richarlison. But also how it's going to take coordination from the Swiss team. With a pass on that occasion it's Frege and they're flowing here and it's Richarlison but it's on the move. Not aware of a lurking presence opening up for Brazil. The Swiss now they've got to react again defensively. Eder Militao, Rafinha. Now with Barcelona and look at the space but look at Jan Zommer. As Vinicius Junior made his way towards him. That is what Zommer is capable of. Eder Militao, Rafinha. Previously with Leeds United, a high-profile move to Barcelona. Putting in field and Rafinha has a go. But it's meat and drink to Jan Zommer for Switzerland. Playing short, Alessandro. Alessandro is going to have to do the defending here for Switzerland. Against Rafinha and Zommer picks it out of the night sky. Movement off the ball from Vargas. Rodriguez is positioned on the left. Mbalo waiting in the center. He's not the only one. It's Ruben Vargas. He's trying to find it. Alisson has custody of the ball but it was very close to the best. In this first half and Zommer. Instant reaction save. That's Rafinha right beside the byline. Richarlison the center. Here in Doha. And there's an interesting ball for Wittmann. Superb control but how about that for an intervention? Not a danger. Get right in there. Now at the other end. Rodrigo. Vinicius Jr. The two Real Madrid players combining. And Richarlison reaching out. Unable to make contact with the ball. From one end to the other. Effective pressing there by Jim Pilsoul. It's good play by Fernandez. It's Steffen. And back it comes. Can they tee it up? Pilsoul with the shots. No, it's took the tumble. But he might as well have a run. And Vinicius Jr. is having a run. And the throw for Brazil. And it's all Daniela. Talking is over with his colleagues in the VAR center. And he's saying I think I passed the ball. Well here's a look at it. Richarlison just lazy getting back on side really. With Brazil in that strict sense. Good moments defensively. And now on the move again. Vinicius Jr. There's Richarlison. There's Marquinhos. And now Vinicius Jr. Try to work something. Oh! Whatever it takes. And Roberto Carlos. Isn't the only one smiling. Here at Stadium 9-7. Diogo Jesus in that wider position. Rodrigo. And Silva. By Casemiro. Brazil on course for a second successive win. And Rodrigo. Oh the block by Akanji. Succeeded in getting there to the referee. The story here. Clinical. Casemiro. For teaching. And Brazil. Brazil have prevailed in the end.
