Are you tired of your shoe laces coming undone - and always at the most inconvenient time! Use this simple change to how most people tie shoes and having loose laces will be almost entirely eliminated! This method is used by runners, hikers and outdoors people to simply and effectively secure their shoes and boots.
Simple, no additional expense, and effective. What's knot to love?
Are you tired of your shoelaces coming undone and then you're tripping on them or worse yet,
people are coming up to you and say, hey man, your shoelaces are untied. Me too. Stay tuned.
I'll give you a great tip how to eliminate that little hassle. Recently, I learned how to use the
runner's knot to eliminate my shoelaces coming undone. Well, take a look at this knot down here.
This looks pretty standard, doesn't it? Looks like a regular bow knot. You can pull this and boom,
it comes undone. Well, the way I used to tie my shoelaces is I would take the left lace
and it would go under the right lace and then I would tie it, etc, etc. Here's the problem with
that being the base knot. Every step you take, the knot tries to come undone and pretty soon
you've got your laces laying all over the place. Here's the little change that my running friends
have shown me what to do. Instead of going left under right, left here goes over right and then
you go ahead and tie it around like this, cinch it down and then do your standard bow knot above.
Loop, loop around the base, pull through and then shorten up so neither one of these tails are long
enough to step on and then simply cinch it down. Do not do an additional knot here of tying a bow
on top. You'll find that that just simply undoes the knot. This is a great way to eliminate having
to tie your shoes several times a day. There's been many times I've worn lace-up shoes all day
long and never had them come undone, as comfortable as can be. Hey, if you found this tip to be helpful,
