The Children of Queen Victoria And Their Connection To The European Royal Houses: The British monarch Queen Victoria left her mark on world history in several ways, so much so that even the era of her reign is now known as the Victorian Era. Victoria’s reign lasted for 63 years. Nine children were born of her marriage to Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburgg And Gotha. Those nine had a total of 45 children, and all of these children married within the European royal houses. In this video, we’ll take a short look at the lives of each of Victoria’s children, and how their marriages and offspring earned Victoria the nickname of Grandmother of Europe
