Do you have plans to go out and party with friends? The safe option is the smokey eye.
Celebrities frequently wear the smokey eye during gala dinners, events, and of course partying. It's possible to get darker and sexier at night because it's more daring. To stand out, you must emphasize those stunning eyes.
Although the looks below are not for novices, we have included videos from makeup artists in case you're worried. Additionally, they are quite good at breaking down the fundamentals into easy-to-follow steps.
Smokey eyes can be bronze, gold, blue, pink, purple, or green smokey. You can choose the shade that best fits your complexion and outfit for each occasion.
People are usually intimidated by smoky eyes, but if you pick the right color
and the perfect formula, it makes it so easy. Let me show you how.
First, you're going to choose your base shade. You want to choose a mid-range
color to softly shade lids. For Fred, I've chosen Longwear Cream Shadow Stick in Dusty Mauve.
Just swipe it from your lash line to just past the crease.
Then blend to blur any edges with your finger. You'll add the same color along your bottom
lash lines. Next, you'll define the shape of your eye with liner. When I do a smoky eye,
I always work with one eye at a time. This allows you more time to blend before the liner sets.
Now we're going to smudge out the liner with Powder Shadow to create the smoky effect.
I'm using the Smoky Eyeliner Brush to blend it along the top edge of the liner.
This way, we don't lose the intensity of the liner while creating the smokiness.
Brush the shadow along your lower lash lines and blend. Apply a thin line close to the lash line.
This will give you more room to blend out for that smoky effect.
We're going to do the same smudging on the other eye. Whisk away any fallout with a fluffy brush.
Finally, mascara. I always go for black because it adds the most drama.
Apply a few coats to your top lashes and then use what's left on the brush on your bottom lashes.
So there you have it. A smoky eye in these simple steps.
Remember, it's all about keeping the intensity at the lash line.
