Our friends Tom and Delmara and their sweet kids from @ramona_the_airstream are camped here with us for the week and we are so happy to have them. Their family is a ray of sunshine and we are having a blast.

All right, are we entering? Guys, today is day 82. How do you want to enter?
Wait, 82? Was it 82?
Yes. Yeah. Okay, go ahead.
What? Huh?
Okay, ready? I'm ready. I'm ready to get these openings in. We have an extra set of hands. Sorry, I interrupted you. Start over.
Okay, ready? I don't know what to say. Guys!
Uhhhhhhh.
This is so awkward.
Today we're locking in some openings. Get ready. It's day 82.
Hey, remember those five openings we built yesterday? We're putting them in. Yeah.
We also have some extra sets of hands here to help and so I'm expecting us to go double time.
No pressure guys. No pressure.
Okay, we got to make some cleats. We got to get some dirt ready. Mm-hmm. And then we can start. Let's do it.
So yes, behind us they are still doing the prescribed burn. Don't worry, we're okay. I know it looks terrible.
But uh, yeah, everything's okay.
Welcome back to Tiny Shiny Tuesday where we shine a light on people doing cool stuff. This week
we're highlighting a family who's traveling full-time in a renovated Airstream. That sounds familiar.
I know. Some of you may know that we used to travel full-time in our renovated Airstream
for five years. It's a long time. We met Ramona the Airstream through Instagram.
They actually came out last year and wanted to see some features on our Airstream while they were renovating theirs.
Yeah, and so they got theirs done and they just started traveling about six months ago.
But one of their stops was here on our homestead.
Tom and Delmara and their three children came to our homestead all week.
We were able to hang out, have good times, laugh, play with baby goats, build some earth bags,
Yeah, they helped us with our earth bag. We made donuts, had delicious food together. It was a lot of fun.
We had so much fun hanging out with them this week.
So if you want to see what they're up to on their travels, go check out Ramona the Airstream on Instagram.
Show his boss, Ada. Show his boss.
We got so much done. So much done. We had five extra people here. Our friends are visiting. So guys,
things go so much faster when you have more people. I know. So we got all five
openings in place, cleated in, bags on it.
So we just have like one section left on the course around the north side that we need to fill in.
And then we can just start adding bags and going up. And the bags are all real short.
Except for that last back run. Yeah. Yeah.
Things are gonna happen fast. You know, you know what we like to say. Things are gonna happen.
Can we have a shirt that says things are gonna happen? Things are gonna happen. Not going to. Gonna. Like a G-U-N-N-A.
I don't know. Gonna. I feel like it should say going to. Maybe. Things are going to happen. How about G-O-N-N-A.
It's a little more informal. Do you think anybody cares? No. Okay. I do not. Let's stick with things people care about. Guys,
we got so much done today. It was really fun to work with people here. Yeah, lots of fun.
Yeah. Also, can you see the flames over there? There. I can see the flames. Oh, jeez.
Fire is still under control. However, it is very scary looking. I don't like it at all. It's a little too close.
It's very close and it's like the whole range. Yeah.
It's okay. I hope they're done soon. They should be. We'll see. We got so much done today.
Fire!
Tomorrow, we're just going to finish that back side on the north side.
Back, back, back, back on the north side. Back, back. Uh-huh. Okay. And then
just continue doing more bags. This is all you get for a little bit. Bag work, guys. Bag work. Until we get to the top
of these openings. Oh, I have a question. What? Should we
explain our
opening here behind us a little bit more? Oh, yes. This is not a door, guys.
We just kind of threw it in there and we didn't really say why it's short and really wide. Yeah.
And why it doesn't have a top? Perhaps we did, but I don't remember.
Anyway, if you're wondering why it's so short, it's a gate. Now, I
didn't know how tall the wall was gonna end up.
So, if we need to cut the tops of these, we can when we get to that section.
But yes, this is just a gate, not a doorway. Right. And, and that's, that's the reason that the piece on top
isn't Shishigibon, because we're actually gonna be taking that off. Yeah, it's not permanent. It's just to hold it square.
Yeah, so once we get it cleated in, we'll take that top piece off. And then you have a few other tricks up your sleeve.
I do. Um, which we won't spoil yet.
But that, that's the main idea, is it will be a gate of some sort. Guys, we got so much done today.
That's all I can think of to say.
Is that it? Are we done? Yes. Are we done? Yeah. Guys.
Don't. No, I wasn't gonna say it. Oh, yeah, you were. No, I wasn't. I was gonna say. Thanks for hanging out with us. Oh. And we'll see you tomorrow.
Thanks, dude.
That's annoying.
