This is THE most requested makeup look I've created_ ALI ANDREEA
Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. I'm Andrea Ali. I'm a professional makeup artist
based in Paris. For those of you who are new in here, welcome. This is the most requested
makeup look I've ever created. Last Sunday I was feeling a little bit down, I have to admit.
It was not my best day and usually Sundays I choose not to work. But I knew that if I sit down
and if I create something, it's going to make me feel better. And it did. I was in that mood where
I was not rushed by anything or anyone. It was Sunday, like I said. So I took my time to explain
every single step on creating the makeup look that I have recreated for this video. And so,
so, so, so many of you said, please recreate this on YouTube so that we could have it and we could
get back to it whenever we feel like doing it, like recreating it. No further ado, this is the
look that I'm going to teach you step by step. Have patience until the end because all the
information that I'm giving you, it's for free. So you might as well take advantage of it. Let's get
When I did this look on Instagram, there were so many stories, more than a hundred, which is the
limit. So the beginning of my makeup look, I remember it was completely erased because a lot
of people said, you know, your tutorial actually starts with the eyes, which is unusual.
So I'm going to tell you everything about that look. I'm not going to get into skincare because
I've already applied my skincare, but I will link everything that I've used because it's
really, really important what you apply before your foundation. And the primer that I was using
that day is the Syncroskin Soft Blurring Primer. I jumped from this one to the Makeup Forever one.
This is giving you that very, very velvety, soft-looking skin. This is nice. It's soft.
It feels luxurious. Took away the shine, but the skin is velvety, like it's not matte.
Now we're going to move on with foundation. And actually I was trying, I remember I was trying
that day, the new Sisley. This is the Phyto-Tone Nude Foundation. And I was very happy because
I finally found my color. I love the Sisley products and especially, you know, blushes and
lipsticks. I never was a huge fan of their complexion because I never found my color.
Now they have expanded the range and this new foundation, which is very liquidy. I'm going to
take a buffing brush and you can see it's still not like a perfect match. Let me spread it first
and then we can discuss about the color. It's not a perfect match. However, because it's so thin,
you could get away with a not your perfect match. Look, it's super lightweight. It's more like a
tinted moisturizer. I'm not going to lie with you. All brushes and products are going to be linked
in my description box. Okay, this is what the skin looks like up close. It has a beautiful glow and
what I love about it is that it sets. So it's not the type of glow that stays wet. Some people like
that, some people don't. I personally do not like a wet sheen, a wet shine concealer. This past,
I don't know, two, three weeks, I've been reaching out to this concealer a lot. This is the Power
Fabric concealer from Giorgio Armani and honestly, I was using this as my whole base. I would mix it
with a little bit of Essential High Coverage Liquid Concealer from Jouer and together,
they are perfection because I need coverage here and around the nose. Then I take my trusty
57 brush from Sephora with a little bit more of that combo between the two concealers
just to make sure I cover this area. The whole look was really not complexion based.
Before I set my makeup with powder, I wanted to show you this palette from Charlotte Tilbury,
the Nudegasm, which is fantastic. If I would ever recommend you a face palette,
it would be this one. You guys, it's so good. The colors are so good. If you are,
from fair to medium skin tone, it's unbelievable. I wish they had, probably they will make
something darker for darker skin tones because it's fantastic. I think that this is not dark
enough. However, it's beautiful. You have everything in here. You could use it for the
face. You could use it for the eyes. Fantastic, great investment. If you don't have anything
like it, I strongly recommend you to get it. What I also love about it, normally after you apply
foundation, you would have to move on with a very thin layer of powder so that whatever colored
powder you apply, it's not going to have a grip and it's not going to look muddy because that's
what happens. You have a very moist surface and then when you move on with colored powder,
it's going to stick to it and sometimes it could look muddy. Not the case with this.
So I'm taking the bronzer with a bronzer and blusher brush from Charlotte Tilbury. Let me
just show you how beautifully it blends into the skin right on top of foundation. So, so nice.
Switching the brush to the Charlotte Tilbury powder and sculpt and I'm taking the color
that's a little bit more gray, a little bit more grayish because I want to sculpt the skin further
and I look straight in the mirror and if I want to lift the cheeks, I will have to create the
illusion of a shadow right here. I already have it naturally but I want to make it look a little
more deep. I'm gonna use this a little bit on the nose. I'm gonna set the under eyes and the
center of the face only with this Makeup Forever Ultra HD Matte Setting Powder. Such a beautiful
matte powder. Using it with this Missa 01 brush. Fantastic. I love this powder.
Now here comes the part we've all been waiting for and that is the eye.
Now my eyes are slightly lifted because my hair is very tight. However, this is working even if
your eyes are like this or like this. There are different eye shapes that people call
hooded eye. Not every single eye is hooded. Some of them I like to call
bedroom eyes because they have that sleepy, very sensual look to me. I personally love it
and even if you have that more like sleepy bedroom eyes, I would still think that this is a great
technique for you. All you need is a matte pencil and I strongly recommend you the classic one
because it's very powdery. This is from Charlotte Tilbury and it's in the classic brown color.
It's a beautiful universal brown. One thing to be very mindful is to use a pencil that is not
waterproof because that will not give you enough time to blend. That is why we're gonna set it with
powder but that comes later. Let's just do this. So you're looking straight in the mirror.
Maybe if I turn like this it will be better. Can people see me well? Then I do back and forth
motions right at the base of the lashes and from the middle of my pupil, basically where the lid
you know goes down, from there I imagine there is a straight line. Look, straight line from here
to here as if someone would put like a straight thing in here. Imagine that okay.
That's going to lift the outer corner of your eye and here you could go as you know as much as you
can, as much as your eye allows you. You see the same thing I do on the lower lashes but only to
one third of the eye. I take a blending brush. This is Missa number three from the Puro collection.
I'll link it in my description box and I start to blend it. If you're going to do bigger motions,
you're going to spread this all over and that's not helping you. That's not the point. The point
is to keep this shape but to make it look less precise, to give it that smoky feeling.
Now I've talked about this palette before. This is the Tom Ford
Mink Mirage and it's absolutely gorgeous. This palette, if you have it, it's like a staple
in your makeup kit. It's going to help you create whatever looks you want. It's that type of palette
that helps you sculpt the eyes. With this brush, this is number 23 from Refer, I mix the two
shades right here. Now the reason why you have to apply powder on top of this pencil is because
it's not long lasting, right? We've talked about this earlier. Because it's not long lasting and
with all the movement that we have on the eye and with the heat, the product will disappear,
will melt, it will change the position. You will start to have it like in here and in the
little wrinkles around the eyes. You don't want that. In order to set your pencil in place,
you need to apply preferably an eyeshadow that is in the same color. So I'm getting
that mixture. Now with the pencil, if your eyes are like too apart, I'm not sure if that's the
right expression, like if you have a lot of space between your eyes, you can make them look a little
bit more like close together or if you want to have that very feline, very contoured eye look,
I suggest you to apply the pencil in here on the inner corner only from like where your lashes start
to sort of fade to the inner corner and down like this. Now again, you have to set it with powder
else it's gonna smudge. So again, that mixture with the 23 brush from Refer. I know you guys
like to invest mostly in face brushes but this is gold. Of course, if you do this type of makeup,
if you don't like the waste of money, you know your priorities better than me. You can see I left
this space completely like open, no product at all. Now we're gonna play with the shadow and light.
From this palette, I'm taking the lightest color. This is all matte, okay? And I place it exactly
where it shines naturally, right there. Then I move it towards the whole eyelid, only in the center.
The same product at the inner corner and a little bit right here. What this will do, it will
intensify even more the inner corner, will make your eye look more feline. The same thing
under the brow. Now I blend a little bit the edges. I don't like when it's too blunt like this.
This is a lip brush, it's from Laura Mercier. Any small focus flat brush would work.
Then with a 221 brush from MAC, which is like a smaller, thinner, skinnier sister of 217 from MAC,
I'm mixing these two colors and this one I'm applying it wherever I haven't applied that
light eyeshadow. Also in the crease and a little bit right here. Now I'm gonna come back with my
small brush and make sure that right at the base of the lashes, I do have that
dark color, which faded a little bit with the application of this second eyeshadow. Okay,
check this out. Look at my eyes. Now, like I said, my hair is very, very tight, but
my eyes would be like this. Look at the difference. You could totally see how much it just lifted
the eye and that's not even it. When you apply mascara, it's a game changer. The mascara that
you're using plays a huge role and here's why. With this particular eye look, you want to apply
most of mascara at the base of the lashes and I don't know if you could see the brush
of this mascara. This is the Sweet Lashes mascara and it acts like a comb and I press it
so I could have most of my product right here at the base of my lashes and then I go up and
it's almost like a tight line. Isn't this fantastic? I love this trick. Let me insist
with the mascara. I don't know if you could see, but instead of going like up, I go a little bit
on the side so the lashes are oriented on the outside, like so. I'm only going to apply mascara
like one third, exactly what we did with the pencil. If you feel like you've applied too much,
just pinch the tip so you get the product out and this is the final eye, but I'm also going to
continue with this side of the face to show you what a difference eyebrows make. Like I've said
on Instagram, you know, everybody's looking to lift the eyebrows, to have like higher and higher
looking eyebrows. What is going on right here? But that might not be what looks good on you
and I've talked about, oh look at this, I've talked about how my my bone structure, you know,
I am sort of curved in here. So even if I apply product right here, it's not really going to help
me. Actually it's gonna, it's gonna look weird. So there are people who have a full, you know,
forehead, full temples right here. That's when you could really lift the eyebrows and play with it
and it will look good. For me, if I lift my eyebrows, I really look like a clown. I use
two products. I like to, if I really want to create a beautiful eyebrow, I would use pencil
and a pen. Two different products. So the pencil that I use right now is a very powdery one.
I wish you could hear this noise that a powdery pencil does. It's very specific. When it's dry
like this, it creates a certain sound. It doesn't happen with a creamy product. And for some people
this is, this is enough. And for some days for me this is enough too. If I want to perfect it,
I'm gonna take, like I said, an eyebrow pen and I have this one. I don't know if it's still good.
Let's try another one. Maybe this one is better. Hopefully this one is better. They're both brown
from Glossier. You have to store them with the tip down. And I will make my eyebrow
look just a little bit more lifted by adding these like hair-like strokes. Sometimes I make mistakes.
I'll take a q-tip. Everything's fine. My eyebrows tend to go like this throughout the day. It's driving
me nuts. It will expose the product that I was using and also it just looks sad. That's why I
always like to use this gel from Benefit. And so far honestly this is the best I have tried
because it not only creates this 3D effect but also holds your eyebrow in places. So if you're
looking for an eyebrow gel, I strongly recommend you this. And don't worry if there are some little
hairs that are out of the shape. That's fine. That's what makes it look natural. If there is
like a sharp line here, a sharp line here, that's not a natural eyebrow. Now let's look at the
difference with the other eye. Look how high the eyebrow is without, you know, without being like
aggressive because when you lift the eyebrows you have to make sure you lift them in a way
that is not looking like Cruella, you know. Okay, now I'm gonna do this other eye and get back to you.
Alright guys, I've done the other eye. Now we're looking human. I took the mask off that I had on
my lips. I was using this one from Oomorovita. Crazy about it. And in the stories I also wanted
to show you how to make your lips look bigger. Although I think that on YouTube I've showed you
so many times in each and every one of my videos. For me, Nude from Gucci is a great, I don't know
if you can see, started to be very very small this pencil. It's a great option for my skin tone
because it's all about your skin tone, right? And I do the same thing in here. And what you want to
change is the cupid's bow. You want to lift the cupid's bow. And I've said this before, with age
the space between the nose and your lip sags. That's what makes us look a little bit older.
When the space between your nose and the upper lip is a little bit smaller, it's youthful. A lot of
people do lip injections and they think that, you know, I want to look better. But sometimes what
happens is it makes you look worse. Because when you add weight in your upper lip, because with the
fillers you basically add a little bit of weight, right? In time your lip will sag. So you have to
be very very careful with these procedures. Like how you do them, how much you do them, how often
you do them. I'm all about doing whatever makes you feel comfortable. But I'm just telling you, if
you want to do any lip enhancements, you should know this. In time the lip will sag. Because it will
have more weight and it will make you look older. Let's continue. I just talk. We're changing the
cupid's bow, making it a little bit higher. But then for the rest of the lip I'm following, I'm
following the natural lip line. One of my favorite lipsticks, the best investment that I recently made
is this one from Atom For It. This is in Flash and it's a beautiful nude that goes so well with my
skin tone. And whenever I do a neutral makeup look, this is always, always the best option.
Now sometimes I would like more, like I want to have like a little bit of color. I want to have
that sweetness. That's when I add number 27 Rouge Infusée. God, such a great. This is from Givenchy
and obviously you could apply it all over the lips. It look, it looks fantastic. Or
you get it just in the middle, like so. This is so good, so good. I saw it sold out everywhere.
If you could put your hands on this, you will love it. You will love it. Okay, now let's finish the
makeup look with some blush. And I like to warm it up on the back of my hand. And now because I am
a little bit on the chubbier side, I like to apply my blush much higher,
almost close to the eye and avoid this area. And because this is a cream product, it will give me
a beautiful glow. Ladies, and this is the final look. Hope you enjoyed it and that you learned
something new. This is my wish for this channel. I want every single woman to have the tool to
change her mood with the help of makeup, to know how to use makeup. A bit of shadow placed in the
right spot, it changes your face. And when you look at yourself and you feel beautiful,
it changes your mood and it changes the perception of who you are out there. It's really not that
hard and you don't have to have my products. I use mine, you use yours. That's how this channel works
and there's no judgment. Don't forget that all the products that I was using for your reference
are in my description box. Thank you so much for watching and for staying with me for this long.
I'll see you guys in my next one. Bye. We're rolling.
Stop. You think I want to burp like this? It's the baby. It's the baby giving me signals.
