What's up you guys, welcome back to my channel. If you're new, my name is Danielle. Welcome back to another weekend in my life. I'm in the best mood, I'm in a car right now, I'm driving. I am in Atlanta right now, I'm in Alpharetta to be specific, living my suburb mom life, no I'm kidding. I feel like that's what like any girl that's living in New York City does when she like goes home or like gets to drive a car, she's like, living my suburban mom life right now. I don't know, it's just like a thing. But I definitely feel that way right now, it's Thursday. So the reason we're here is I am going to Athens tomorrow, I'm so excited. Athens is my college town, if you guys don't know, I went to University of Georgia, I graduated last May. One of my really good friends, Alex, still lives there. She's doing a fifth year and she actually lives in the apartment building that I used to live in. So I'm like so excited to go back to Georgia Heights, I miss it so much and all the apartments look very similar because it's furnished. So I just like, I'm so excited to stay with her. So her birthday's coming up, our friend McKenna's birthday was this past week. So we're doing a big reunion and we were like, where should we do it? Athens, duh, because Alex still lives there and it's like an excuse to go. So very excited. So we're doing that tomorrow, Friday through Sunday. We've got some fun plans, really just hanging out together. I don't know how much I'm going to be vlogging, but I was like, let me just turn on the camera and start and see how this vlog goes because I love going to Athens and I know it'd be fun to show you guys a little bit of a taste of Athens again. Like I really want an Arden's Garden smoothie. I want to go to the art, you know, just like little stuff. We'll be making lots of Polly's trips. Polly's is like the best bar ever in Athens, it's like a bar restaurant. The owner is literally reserving us a table tomorrow, I'm so dead. He like, you don't get reservations there, but I was like, I want to come and he was like, we got you. So I'm very excited. Call me washed up, call me whatever. I do not care. I am going to continue to go to Athens as I grow up. It's just that kind of town. Alumni always go back. It won't always be like this where I'm like staying with a friend in Athens and like going out in Athens, but I'll definitely go back for games a thousand percent. That's definitely a thing. I have no shame. So I'm so excited. I get to see Delaney, Isabella, Madeline, or actually no, Madeline's going to be in Vegas, but pretty much the whole group is going to be there. So excited. But decided to fly down a day early. Also, Ryan's not going to Athens. He was just like, oh, if you're going to Georgia, like maybe I'll come down too and stay with my family. So he's going to be at home for the weekend because he has a ton of friends that live in Atlanta. So he's going to hang out with them. I'm going to hang out with my friends in Athens. It's just kind of perfect. So we flew down today so I could spend some time with his family. We're doing like a dinner with his grandma and his parents tonight. And it's just a beautiful day here. So his parents let me borrow a car, which was really, really kind. And I drove myself to the Avalon in Alpharetta. I love this place. It kind of reminds me of the Grove in LA. It's just like an outdoor mall situation. It's just so beautiful outside. I wanted to go outside. I'm not necessarily shopping for anything, but it's just like a good little main character moment type of day. I'm so hungry. I'm going to sit down and have lunch by myself. Really proud. And I was like, I need to get my hair done. So I'm going to get a blowout because naturally I'm a clue to blowouts. But Drybar is full today. But I found another salon here at the Avalon called Van Michael. And one of their things on their menu was a blowout. So it shouldn't be that bad, right? I feel like I'm cheating on Drybar, but also they didn't have space for me. So, you know, you win some, you lose some. So, yeah, I am just wearing this Skims long black dress. I'm obsessed with this. This little Lamarck leather jacket. I slicked my hair back at the car keys and used my little green bag today. We'll see where the day takes me. I'm just going to spend a couple of hours here. Delaney might pop by. Emphasis on might. And I would literally cry. I mean, I'm seeing her tomorrow. She's going to pick me up from Ryan's house and we're going to go to Athens together. But like that would be like extra special if I could see her today, too. So we'll see. We'll see. Welcome to a weekend in my life in Georgia. My blowout looks amazing. I'm so happy with it. All right, it's a little later now. My blowout was so good. I went to Van Michael's Salon at Avalon. Just got a decaf oat milk latte. I'm sitting in the sun. It feels so good. Delaney just called me. She's going to be done with work in like 30 minutes. So she's either going to meet me here or I might go to her house and say hi to her mom and her dog because I love them so much. So we'll see. Back in the car now. I'm pooped. I didn't buy anything. It was just really nice to walk around. Outside, I'm about to head to Delaney's house, actually. She's not there yet, but her mom's there and her dog Sterling, who I haven't seen since a year ago when she was like a little puppy. So it'll be nice to get some homey vibes. And yeah. And then from there, I'll go back to Ryan's house and do dinner. Lots of socializing today. Love it. Hi, baby. Look who it is. Hi, Queen. Queen Sterling. No. Ryan, what's today's egg flip since it's Friday? I can't spoil it until it happens. Is it? You got big things planned? Yeah. We're going to do a lot of height, a lot of altitude. Ryan is going to attempt to throw it outside of that. Or his mom's going to throw it out of the window, and he's going to catch it down here. All right. Let me get all set up here. We used to live together. Oh, my God. Wow. It just feels right. I'm not even like... It just feels right. It just feels so right. Woo-hoo! We're at Alex's apartment right now, and I'm literally thriving. It just feels so right, this couch. It just feels like it's our couch, because it's all the same furniture. I love it here so much. We're about to go get some lunch at Talk Tsunami. I'm literally craving their queso. They give you tortillas, warm tortillas with the queso, too. I'm literally unwell thinking about it. Just walk around downtown, and we're going to get ready for the night of nights. Is that right? Yeah. This just feels so right. No, but I'm... Ugh. That's literally sexual. It's so good. All right. We just ate. We're going to go shopping now. First stop is Pattaya, and then Indigo, of course, is right there. They have an Urban Outfitters here. Love it. We're in College Square right now. Delaney and I used to come here all the time to do work. So nostalgic. I know. So nostalgic. So we're going to take... These things are the real deal. These are... They have all their stuff in them, not just ginger. We literally just cleaned them out of their ginger shots. Alex just bought three, and we bought a huge thing of this also. So we'll have ginger shots for the whole weekend. I know. Shots left. Ooh, these are intense. I haven't had one of these in a minute. They look like carrots. They do look like carrots. All right. Cheers! That feels great! We're going to a new coffee shop in Athens. Delaney said she had to take a quick nap. Who is she? Come back. Look who it is! We just got ready for the night. We're going to Ollie's. I'm so excited. It's my favorite restaurant slash bar here. They have the best drinks. That's where I learned what a manmosa is, which is champagne, vodka, and orange juice. Good morning, everybody. We are headed to Waffle House. And I'm so excited. I literally made everyone get up to go because I need sex next. Wow. A little Target haul. We have all of our Gatorades. And I got baby carrots and kombucha, but also a blue Gatorade. Who else got a blue? You ladies? Someone got a red. Love it. All right. Here's a little fit for the day. I went back and forth. I had a much more colorful outfit, but I'm just cold. And it's just like in and out sunny. It's just not the vibe to wear a bright yellow set. Wearing this mini dress from Revolve. I love it. I'll link it below. It's so soft. It's like a little mini. And then I wanted to make it fun. I'm wearing these cowboy boots from Rebecca Minkoff. Jacket is also Revolve. And then I already showed you guys this. So I'm going to wear my green bag for like a pop. I don't know. I had like another outfit too that I was wearing. That was like this colorful shirt and jeans, but I just wanted to wear the mini dress. I'm having a mini moment right now. I need to let it happen. We are literally going to Follies again for lunch. But like what's new, you know? A little outfit change for Quartersmiths tonight. I am so happy we got Papa John's. Because you can't have Papa John's pizza in New York. But I definitely can in Georgia. So very excited. This set is from Revolve. I'll link it below. I'm keeping on the same little boots. We're just chilling for a second before we go to the concert. Very excited. It's been a really fun day. We're just bopping around. Alright, it's concert time. The air mattress is going down. The final hours are happening. We're very sad. We're going to Five Bar for breakfast. As well as excited. Right? I'm going to get the breakfast burrito. It looks really sunny outside, but I think it's cold. Wow, what a beautiful day. We decided on Last Resort instead. Because it's so beautiful outside. We can sit out here. How nice. Alright, we just ate at Last Resort. It was delicious. I'm really sad right now. Because we'll be back in Athens. And we're going to see each other in a month. We're all going to Tampa. But the Georgia Heights of it all. It's tough for me to say goodbye to. Because now I don't have a friend. She's moving out in a month. And we don't have a friend to come. You guys probably think I'm crazy. I'm obsessed with this apartment building. It has so many memories. Even the smell of Georgia Heights makes me think of college. Once Alex moves out, it's like... It's okay. It just feels so right. I'm just going to cry a lot. I'm going to take this one last shot. My parents are like, you're so dramatic. The last time. I know we'll be back in Athens. We've already been here. Cheers! His family decided to have a last minute master's party. He invited some of our friends that live in Atlanta. That I haven't seen. That I haven't seen in a while. I'm excited to see them. Good old girl vibes. Delaney's here for a little bit too. I'm pumped. Then we leave for the airport in a couple hours. I just changed into this because it's really warm out. I feel like this is kind of like master's vibes. But I'm not going to put on any makeup or anything.
