I just spent $100,000 on a weekend in Vegas (https://youtu.be/doYYF-rR6XU) Because today... WE GOT MARRIED!! I can't believe this is finally happening, but I, Carter Sharer, am marrying the love of my life, @Lizzy Capri. And we had some of our best friends there to witness it: @Ryan Prunty, @Stove's Kitchen, @Bailey Payne, @Hunter Kowald, Andrew, Matt, Ethan, Casey, Chris. So many great people witnessed our vows. We had an incredible ceremony by none other than the real Elvis Presley who's still alive, a giant pink Cadillac, backup dancers, and we almost even had French Onion Soup from Cracker Barrel (long story...). It was an almost perfect ceremony except for Ryan's brief outburst. But that's all well and done now and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Lizzy Capri. Ryan said he'd make it up to us by framing our marriage certificate for us, so all is well and we're lucky to have a friend like Ryan! Where do you guys think we should go on our honeymoon? Oh my gosh guys, I am freaking out.
Today is the day of my wedding
and it's actually in about one hour and I'm not ready.
I haven't heard from anyone, so we just go in there
because we need to get ready so I can get married.
Guys?
Hello?
Guys, wake up.
What are you guys doing?
I'm getting married in one hour.
You guys need to wake up.
Ethan.
What time is it?
It's less than an hour away
from when I'm supposed to be a married man.
Guys, we gotta go.
I'm gonna be late.
Carter, you don't have to marry her.
You're right, Ryan.
But I should.
We need to get married.
We just gotta go.
Everyone, places, places.
Suit, ties, we need to look fancy.
I'm getting married.
This is the most important day of my entire life.
Let's go.
Who's getting married?
Ethan, I'm getting married and you know that.
I can't believe Carter's getting married.
My big boy's all grown up.
Ryan, hurry up.
I'm trying.
I can't really fit in any of these clothes anymore.
I feel like it's just gonna break.
You don't really expect this to come so soon,
but this feels like yesterday.
It was just Carter and Liz dating
and now today we're attending their wedding.
So honestly, I might cry.
We're starting to look good, but we're not ready yet.
And guys, we need to be outside in the lobby
in the next two minutes.
Let's go.
Two minutes, oh my gosh.
I gotta brush my teeth.
So how you feeling?
You sure you wanna do this?
I gotta say, dude, I am nervous.
I never thought I would see the day that I get married.
It's so crazy.
Honestly, I was hoping I would never see the day, but.
It's gonna be crazy.
Literally in just about an hour,
I'm gonna be for the rest of my life.
I know, I mean.
To the love of my life, it's crazy.
I just don't know how my life is gonna change.
I feel like I'm gonna be a dad and have kids soon.
It's gonna be weird.
All right, Carter, there you go.
You're looking like a million bucks over here.
Thanks.
I'm sure Liz is looking amazing too.
I cannot wait to see her walk down the aisle.
I'm gonna miss you, man.
Ryan, I'm not dying.
Oh.
Oh, okay, I'll see you at the wedding.
What?
I'm almost done getting ready.
I can't believe I'm getting married.
The wedding has literally creeped up so quickly on us,
and I'm just excited to see what Carter looks like.
I'm nervous, excited, and oh my gosh,
I just feel like I'm gonna get really emotional,
so I'm trying to keep my stuff together today.
Okay, I'm ready for my wedding.
Oh man, I've known Carter since he was like seven years old.
I can't believe he's getting married, finally.
Like, I almost have a tear in my eye.
Angie, you look like a penguin right now.
No, I'm not.
I'm not.
Oh boy, guys.
I am feeling good, but I'm also nervous,
and we're literally five minutes late,
so we have to get to the wedding venue right now.
Or we skip the wedding and hit Cracker Barrel
and get some French onion soup.
You know?
No, come on, guys.
I gotta get married.
This is for real.
Welcome, welcome.
Thank you.
Where do we sit?
Well, you guys can sit anywhere, guys.
This is the wedding chapel.
It's starting to get really, very real right now.
Oh, you guys sit down, get comfy.
This is the last time we're gonna see our boy
while he's single.
Well, that's scary.
It is scary.
I got all my best friends here.
We got Team Rawr here, and it's almost showtime, guys.
I'm gonna be getting married right up there,
and I need to go out, and next time they see me,
I'll be walking down the aisle.
Woo!
Liz is coming out right now, guys.
We're about to get started.
Oh my gosh.
And also, we showed up a little bit late,
so we're on a little bit of a time crunch,
which puts just more pressure
on this whole wedding ceremony.
Oh my gosh, Liz!
Look at you!
Oh my gosh.
You ready for this?
I'm ready.
This is our big day.
Well, we gotta hurry fast.
Oh my gosh.
Here we go!
Yeah!
Here we go.
Let's go!
Come on, Team Rawr!
I can't believe it!
I'm getting married, Liz!
Dear friends, my name's Elvis.
I'm alive and well.
Thank you very much.
Woo!
Thank you very much.
We're here today to exchange wedding vows
with Carter and Lizzie.
Congratulations, both of you, too.
Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas.
You know, marriage is a beautiful and holy estate
instituted in the time of man's beginnings.
It's truly a marvelous adventure.
Do you both promise to let your love be very strong
so that it overcomes all of life's obstacles?
Carter, your answer to Lizzie.
I do.
Lizzie, your answer to Carter.
I do.
Do you promise to love, honor, cherish each other,
always speak the truth, care for each other
in sickness and in health,
as you already have in the past?
Lizzie.
I do.
Carter.
I do.
I want you two to look into each other's eyes,
think back to that very first day that you two met,
and now here we are in fabulous Las Vegas,
and you two are finally tying the knot.
Now repeat after me, together if you will, please.
To have and to hold.
From this day forward.
For joy and celebration.
For love and understanding.
I pledge you my faith.
Very good, you both have some rings for me?
Yes.
Am I gonna have those please?
Thank you very much.
May your love for one another be wise, pure, and eternal.
Carter, place the ring you wish to give Lizzie.
Place it on her left hand, look her in the eyes, sir.
Repeat after me, with this ring.
With this ring.
I be wed.
With a prayer.
That our love grows stronger.
Through the passing years.
And I'll do whatever you ask me to do.
All right, Lizzie, it gets better.
Place it on his hand.
I give you this ring.
As a token and pledge.
As our vows to each other.
Praying that our love.
Shall never fade.
All right, if there's anybody here
that objects to this wedding,
speak now or forever hold your peace.
I object.
What?
Ryan?
Ryan, sit down.
Let me say something.
I know, I know.
Let me say something.
Liz, I've known you for years.
Yeah, what are you doing?
And I really care about you,
but can you please move over here
so I can talk to Carter?
Ryan!
What are you talking to?
Ryan, what?
Carter Jolene Sherer.
That's not my middle name.
It's not?
It's Joseph, dude.
Carter Joseph Sherer.
I've known you for years.
You're one of my best friends.
I love you and I really care about you,
but I cannot let you marry her.
Why not?
I'm tired.
I am so much.
Hey, don't push my future wife.
We're one second away from kissing.
Don't let her push me.
I thought we were a second away from...
Ryan, what is your deal, bro?
I just thought that we should get married.
She got you a terrible ring.
You don't even like it.
I got you this really way fancier ring
that's a lot better.
Just, I need you to-
Ryan, chill.
Just go back down.
Dude, what are you-
Just trust me!
Ryan, get out of here!
Listen, I'm-
Are you serious right now?
Liz, I'm so sorry.
I'm sorry.
It's okay.
What are you doing?
I'm sorry.
I'm so embarrassed.
All right, you two.
Do you both agree to adopt each other's hound dogs?
Yes, I do.
I do.
Not to wear your blue suede shoes in the rain?
I do.
To always be each other's teddy bear?
I do.
And to give each other a hunk of hunk of burning love?
You promise?
I do.
All right, well then by the powers vested in me,
the king, I pronounce you to be husband and wife.
Sir, you may kiss your lovely bride.
Ladies and gentlemen!
Woo!
That was a disaster.
That was a train wreck.
What are we gonna do?
What are we supposed to do?
They're married.
They kissed.
They exchanged rings.
They're engaged.
I'm screwed.
And now I look like a jerk in front of all of my friends.
Ethan, what a good idea you had.
It was a good idea.
You set up Jack.
Can I have my ring back?
I gave you your ring back already.
Ethan, what do we do?
Oh, I know.
Last time I was out here,
Carter was signing like this marriage certificate thing.
And I think that's what he did to get married with Liz.
Okay.
Why don't we just rip it up?
I have a better idea.
Do you know where it is?
I think it's behind this lady's house.
Hello?
That's it.
This certifies that Carter, Cher, and Lizzy Capri
are united in marriage.
Hey, Ryan, what you doing?
Oh, hey, nothing man.
I'll be right back.
I'm gonna go get something for outside.
Do you know where I can buy some snacks?
Yeah, they're at the counter.
Ryan.
No, this is perfect.
That's it?
Certificate of marriage certifies that Carter, Cher,
and Lizzy Capri are united in marriage on the 26th
of February.
That's today.
In the year of 2022.
So what if, instead of ripping it up and destroying it,
I just do this.
What if I just,
this is a legally binding document, right?
This certifies that Carter, Cher, and Ryan Prunty
are united in marriage.
Wow.
That works, right?
It works.
We just put it back.
You just put it back.
And then you're married.
I can't believe it was that easy.
We should've just done it from the beginning.
Something feels really wrong about this.
Let's put that right back there and now we're good.
Right?
Yeah, you're married.
I'm married?
You're married to Carter.
Congratulations.
I can't get married to my ex-girlfriend anymore?
Exactly.
Let's go.
Congratulations.
You know what that means?
What?
What's mine is yours.
Carter Prunty now, what's his is mine.
You get all of his stuff.
I get TMR, I get the Lamborghinis, I get the money.
Let's go.
Yay!
Okay guys, this is my favorite part.
I get to throw the bouquet and whoever catches it
gets married next.
It's a wedding tradition.
Let's see who catches it.
Cause they're literally going to be the next ones
to get married.
All right, ready?
Listen.
Three, two, one.
Yes!
Wait.
I don't want this.
Why did you catch that?
No.
Oh, Ryan.
Oh God.
Get rid of it.
We just got married!
All right, ladies and gentlemen.
I just want to thank you guys all for coming out
to this such memorable and amazing day.
Supporting Liz and I.
Officially tying the knot and spending the rest of...
Stop yawning, Bailey.
This is so inappropriate.
I'm just hungry, man.
All right, anyways.
Like I said, I appreciate you guys all coming out
and supporting us.
We're now going to be cutting the cake.
Another wedding ceremony.
Liz, the bride, my beautiful wife.
Go ahead and make the first slice.
And Liz, we're going to do one slice together.
Oh my gosh.
This looks so delicious.
All right.
First cake.
It's beautiful.
All right.
We have to feed each other.
It's going to be so romantic.
The tradition is for me to smush this in Liz's face,
but I actually would like to smush this
in someone else's face.
Ryan, the fact that you're still here is just beyond me.
I don't know what that sound was you pulled over,
but please calm on up.
You were my best friend.
Still best friends.
We are?
We're more than best friends, Carter.
I think we might be a little bit less,
but Ryan, I want you to go ahead
and try some of this cake.
Oh, wow.
That really, really stuck.
Carter, I'm excited for our marriage
and the rest of our lives together.
Ryan, what are you talking about?
What do you mean?
I'm married to Liz now.
Oh!
That's ruining my wedding!
Yeah, Ryan, get out of here.
You ruined the wedding.
No, please get out.
If anyone wants cake, you got to kick them out.
I want cake, I want cake, I want cake!
Still married.
Hey, still married.
Let's go.
Thanks, guys.
This cake is actually really delicious,
and Liz, I cannot wait to spend
the rest of my life with you.
Ooh, I want some.
Stop!
Oh!
Oh, my God!
Ugh, I don't think Carter really understood
what I was saying in there,
but I think he's in for a really big surprise
when he looks at his marriage certificate next week
and realizes that Liz and him
aren't actually husband and wife.
What's mine is yours, babe.
We did it, guys.
We officially got married.
I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Liz.
Woo!
