Stucco Test with My Little Homestead ​+ Bernedoodle Puppy's First Haircut

Look where we are. Hey, we're back with the chicken garden. I have no idea what day it is. Day 832. Too many days. We had some other stuff we had to work on. Yeah, you know the airport. Yeah the vermin swale. Yeah the I don't know what else. Lots of other things. Anyway We're we're finally ready to start turning our attention back to the chicken garden. You know We were having all sorts of trouble with our plaster. Yeah, we tried earthen plaster so many different types of mixes Our last mix was like a homemade stucco mix and that has been The best one so far best one so far still has a little bit of an issue So anyway, we are going to be back up here doing some more tests today but We're bringing in reinforcements. We've called experts in this field You may recognize them when they get here Who is it? Well, they'll just have to wait and see i'm so excited. I don't know who it is. Yes you do Hopefully they can tell us how to do this the proper way and how to do it fast the fastest way Yeah, because that is the most important thing. We really want to start on our house We've got to get this project finished so we can move forward so I can prep it for spring planting Oh, it's gonna be so exciting. That's very exciting. Okay. Anyway, we're getting started. They're gonna be here soon ready Hopefully this works So as usual when my little homestead comes over We end up just kind of talking and hanging out and doing stuff and not recording anything so first of all I just wanted to thank them so much for coming over and Walking us through this process and letting us get some hands-on time with it to see if it's going to be the right fit for this project and and it's looking like I mean This is really stuck on here. There are no cracks even Little pieces like this that should be easy to pull off are like really stuck on So I think this is the direction we want to go obviously, it's very Cementy color so we have to come with something after we do this to get it sealed with the right color But I think stucco is going to be the way that we go for this now We were using just a little like pancake compressor to do this test That's not going to work for a large application like this So the first step is to get a bigger air compressor, which we borrowed from some friends The second is to get our own spray gun and then to get some more of that material and do a few more tests To make sure we've got sort of our process down But anyway, we feel like we have a plan moving forward for the chicken garden, which is very exciting So thanks again. My little home said maybe we can get you to come back out when we do the rest of this It'd be fun So We waited long enough today Ocho gets a haircut but first He gets to play in the mud because it's been raining for two days And we think he would really enjoy that so Today is Ocho day What? With Ocho the trick to getting him to stay in the bathtub long enough to like wash him It's peanut butter. Just smear a little bit on the shower wall He stays there and licks it for a really long time and we're able to wash him. So he's Very excited about that You ready? Ocho Hi, all right, we did our best with what we could do with a travel hairdryer and an RV bathtub So we're going to give him a few more minutes to air dry before we start doing his haircut.
