Super Defined Curly Hair Routine For Men OR Short Hair | BiancaReneeToday

So not only is he, you know, a new business owner, but he has some of the most popping curls on Instagram. And I haven't made a video for the guys in a long time. So fellas, this one's for you. He's going to walk through his curly hair routine for us and show how he goes from like big volume, which already looks amazing with nothing in it. So let's just start with that. But he can make his curls like super, super defined. So he's going to give us all his curly tips and tricks today. Let's do it. Let's get started. So right now there's nothing in your hair, right? Right. Just water and fabulousness. Yep. So I normally shampoo my hair with the Natural All Hydrating Shampoo. This is my favorite shampoo. Out of all the ones I have, I've never even heard or tried this one. Let me see. And I keep going back to this one. It's so good. This is my second bottle of it. But yeah, so I normally shampoo my hair with that. Get my hair really nice and clean, but it doesn't strip away all the natural oils and moisture. And then after that, I normally just go straight to deep conditioning. And for that, I use a TGIN Miracle Repair X Hair Mask. This for moisture is so great. It just does what needs to be done. Like it knows the assignment. I haven't tried this one either. He's doing all the only products I haven't tried, but they're all sulfate, paraffin, silicone-free, so. Yes. Oh, that smells good. Yeah. It's so good. The minute, the moment it touches your hair, it's just like... I mean, castor oil, biotin. So if I made your hair long, because it's working. Okay, awesome. So that is a really great deep conditioner. Then after that, rinse that out. And now we're going to the next step. So let's start off with soaking wet hair, damp hair. What do you do? I'm pretty damp. So I like to my hair damp because I feel like you get more control over your hair when it's like not soaking wet. And then I wet it afterwards. And it just like super defines it. After you define? It's like one of my secrets. Yeah. Ooh. Yeah. Okay. Let's see. So I'm just gonna... I'll start my section there. Do you want to like dunk your head in the sink or do you want to spray for your life? Yeah, let's do the sink. Let's dunk. We are back. And we're back and we're dripping. Yes. Came through dripping. Drip, drip. Okay. So would you say your hair is low porosity, high porosity? It's sort of in the middle, but I would say more on the low. I would say it's... But we still see water droplets. This is actually a good example of what low porosity would look like when the water is just like sitting on top and doesn't even want to really absorb. Right. Yeah. Okay. So we got it wet. Yeah. So now I section it off. Okay. And I always start in the back. Okay. How long does this usually take you? Normally, this whole process, it takes me about... It depends. If I need my hair to be super like perfect for a long time, it can take like an hour and a half. Okay. But... We'll edit down this video. But if I'm just like doing it really quick, then like 30 minutes, 35 minutes. That's what I'm gonna do today. We're gonna do the quick 30, 35 minute one for you guys today. Otherwise, all the guys are like, I'm out. Right. I know. Seriously. But the cool thing is like once I do this, like I only have to do it like once and then I'm like good for like a week, sometimes two weeks. If I really take my time with it, like it will last like a week and a half. All right. That's good. Okay. This is water. Still dripping. Drip, drip. So now I take the As I Am Leave-In Conditioner. This is just our classic leave-in conditioner and I just like to start off with a nice moisturized base. And so yes, I just apply that. Step one, leave-in. Yep. Kind of like work it through. Finger detangle. Do you ever use a brush or just use your fingers usually? Yeah. I only use a brush when I'm like conditioning in the shower. Got it. Otherwise, I do use my fingers. This smells really good too. Like coconut. Smells like a pina colada. Yes. Yes. It really does. And then once my hair is like all nice and hydrated, then I go and section this again. So I'll like do it in half. Okay. So I'll take one half. See, everybody does sections, but me, I'm so lazy. Even with all my hair, I'm like, one, two, and I call it a day. I wish, honestly. What I do now is, these are all my secrets coming. Gonna be exclusive. Yes. Eco Styler Argan Oil Gel. I go ahead and I use this. And I kind of use a lot. Like I use a heavy hand because it just helps you get that perfect curl. So basically, I'll just take some and then I add it onto the section. Okay. Then I work it through. Nice. And this is a really affordable gel too. Yes. Like a whole jug for like five bucks or something. Literally. But you also said that you do like the Wetline one. Yeah. The Wetline Extreme. I like that one as well. I used this today, actually. This is like another $3 gel. Yep. And if you want to be fancy, we both like the Pattern Stronghold Gel as well. Yes. If I need my hair to look really good for a really long time, that is the one. Literally, it has such good hold and it just keeps your hair looking so good. And super shiny too. I notice whenever I use that, my hair looks almost like a wig. That's all perfect because curls are about the look. And then this is where the magic happens. So my signature style is finger coils. I just like finger coils all the time. I just love how it looks. But I don't like to do like a real finger coils because it makes your hair spirally and not really like curly. So this is how you get like the curly finger coils. So you take some hair and you're going to like twist it around your finger and then you just like kind of pull the curl and you see how it's like curly and not so much like spirally. So I'll do another one with the spirally and you'll see. So this is how like a regular finger coil would look. I would go ahead and I would do this around my finger a bunch of times so I get to the end. See how it's much more spirally. Definitely a difference. Yeah. And so I'm not really a big fan of the spirally curls. I really like my curls to look like super like loosey goosey, you know. So I just bring it around my finger a couple of times and then pull it through. It just makes such a nice beautiful curl. And then when it dries, it's great. So I just do this literally all over my head. And once you like, especially once you get the hang of it and you do it so often, it just gets really quick, you know. You do this for every curl. Once you get in the groove of it, like. Play some music. Yeah. Play your TV shows. Yep. It gets, it gets pretty quick. Watch me on for the next day. I'll repeat. Yep. Yes. Yeah. And then I just do this all over my head. And then the secret ingredient, it comes in at the end. So you'll see. So the back is done, right? Looks good. So now this is the secret. So I take this, the water. I normally do this in the sink, but you can do it with a spray bottle too. Normally when I'm at the sink, I just dip my hair. Like I just like run my hands under the water and then do like this. But for purposes of this video. These curls are juicy. That would take my hair like three years to dry. And now I'm going to do the same thing to the top. And the last. 10 years later. And then Kobe proceeded to add more water. Can someone tell this guy that California is in a drought? I didn't even edit this part. Like this is literally how much water he continued to spray. Insane. So this is, this is it done. Wow. That took about what? An hour? Yeah. Low key. Yeah. But it's very rewarding. And you said this will last you like the whole week. Yeah, literally I won't have to do my hair until next Sunday. Okay. So now at this point, you usually air dry for what? The ends are starting to dry though, which is normally what I like to, the base I like to start diffusing. Okay. So yeah, the ends are like pretty dry, but like the insides are still wet. So moist. Oh no, absolutely not. And I know people think that I like never have bad hair days. Like when I see your routine like this, I almost feel like you wouldn't have a bad hair day, right? Like does this always work out? It always works. The only time it doesn't work is if I try something new and it just is a flop. Yeah. It's like, watch my hair. I'll try again.
