Rock Climbing a HUGE Wall Gone Wrong.. (Big Fall)

I like how you just chill. I'm sitting here like... Okay, I gotta make a jump. Good morning or good afternoon everyone. Welcome if you're new here. My name is Paulie. Today we're going to be doing something a little bit different which is going to help us in the future when I'm very nervous to do it but I think it's something that I won't regret. I'm going to rock climb this mountain for the sake of passing 200,000 supporters. Thank you so much and because I think you guys will enjoy watching me suffer. Here to show you what I'm doing today. Check out the roof rack. Now we can put things in it and stuff. Area 44. We've made it to the top of the peak and we're going to call it a day. So if you enjoy this... All right. So what Keith here is going to do is do what's called lead climbing. It's a little bit more advanced and it just means he's going to go up and set the route for me. For me. Keith is actually such a badass. He knows how to do everything and I would trust my life with this which is the only reason why I'm letting him set the route. So I don't trust you. You're new. So this bicycle helmet is not going to work unfortunately. So now I will be going up without any style. So I'm going to have to put on this hat so I can cover my neck. There and now this goes around the back. So does it work? Turn around. Okay I can't trust that this is going to stay on. It's not my GoPro so much better. You ready? Yeah. All right. You see that fall? Am I a pro now? All right. So the plan of attack. Yeah. Okay. It's important to stay close to the wall. Obviously you don't want to walk away from it. I'm really trying to impress my friends here because they do this professionally. I'm going to unhook these as I go up. I don't know why but I was just told to do that. They're professional instructions make it easy to move ahead. Now reach your right hand higher. Here? Higher. Here? Lower. And this is what happens when your confidence is greater than your skill. I like how you just chill. I'm sitting here like Where am I going? Okay I gotta make a jump. That was a close call. I like that. Yeah I'm fine. Yeah I'm good. I just about hit the ground and what saved me was my friends and the bush. So you can see I'm a little bit shaky. I didn't expect to fall. I had a feeling I might have fell but not that far. Not that far down. What we're gonna do now is we're gonna take down the main blue lead rope and then I'm gonna go up again and actually try summiting. So getting to the very top of this. Hopefully with no more injuries or anything like that. We are working with rain all of a sudden so we'll make the best of it and hopefully you guys get to see me get to the top. But we'll see. I'm good. Okay. I almost don't remember where I was going. There we go. It's funny a lot of people are really frightened to rock climb when you actually when you actually get up here you're so focused on trying to get things done that you don't really think about falling or anything. I got no grip there but if I lean this way I can get it. Oh man. I've never seen somebody climb so aggressively for being so new. He like jumps for things. Dang it. I didn't want to grab the branch. Look at that view though. Wow. Oh look at that crevice. Sorry. I should be more careful. Oh it's crevicing. It could be gold up here. There's some nice cracks. Oh my god. He's looking for gold. Only Paul would be looking for gold in this situation. I heard that and you're right. So this hole here I'm gonna put my hand in it and I'm gonna look for another ledge to grab. Maybe here if I grab this I pull to the right and use my left foot over there Eeny meeny miny moe. I don't feel like falling. There's something about falling off a cliff that's kind of uncomfortable. Yeah. You hear that? Keith just said I climbed past the fart part. I climbed past the farts I did last time. He's doing amazing. Like amazing. And I'm starting to think I took a the wrong route last time because this way is a bit easier. Okay. Oh there's a mosquito. Keith can you pass me uh some water? Just right into my hand. Uh okay. Are you ready? Yeah. Here you go. Thank you. I'm losing grip. I got one finger. Oh god. Why am I laughing? It's not funny. I gotta switch my feet. Oh I pulled my finger. There's another crevice. Is this quartz or is this calcite? We're almost there. I brought my phone up too so I might give my mom a call. See what she's up to. Look at that view. Oh I look hilarious. I look like a thumb. Hi. I'm like way way higher. No I'm almost at the top. Okay I gotta go. I gotta put my phone in my bag before I drop it. No I'm not gonna fall. I'm not gonna fall. See I'm cheating. I'm holding onto this thing. I shouldn't be. What do I do? Okay. Ah it's nice up here. I feel like a stick. It's a nice stick. Yeah. Checkpoint. I made it. Look at that. Now it's time to go down and uh eat candy. I just don't want to drop this phone. We did it. This is the hard part. You push away from the wall. Ready? You just walk down and you can jump like this or you can do a 360. I got a wedgie. Let's see if we can land on you. All right we did it. Yeah we made it to the top of the climb and into the bushes but I'm fine. Hear that rap? I made a rhyme. Yeah good job. Yeah Okay so that is it for this adventure.
