RPAZ Daily Update 11-17-2021

Hello, it is time for the Daily Update from the Republican Party of Arizona. I am your chairwoman, Dr. Kelly Ward. So, Democrats continue to try and sell their massive spending and socialist wish list. You might even be seeing TV ads for the so-called Build Back Better program. According to the ads, it's all going to be wonderful. But as most of us know, when it comes to the Democrats and their plans, you have to look at the details. Here are some of the things that you are definitely not hearing about in these propaganda ads. They have over a billion dollars earmarked to give $12,000 per employee to newspapers. Newspapers being funded by federal taxpayer dollars. Isn't it bad enough that PBS and National Public Radio, which are taxpayer funded, just seem to spew left-wing ideology? How can we expect newspapers to critically investigate the hand that feeds them? It's a very, very bad idea. This administration also wants to give the IRS even greater access to our bank accounts. They say this is so they can determine if people are paying enough taxes. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? There should be a warrant from a judge to allow the government to see an individual's bank account. Instead, this administration wants to force the banks to do their dirty work. Hey, administration, get a warrant. The bill will raise our corporate income tax to the highest of any developed country, including China. How are American businesses supposed to compete when they will be the highest taxed in the entire world? It is a surefire way to send our jobs right overseas. They propose continuing the $300 per child tax credits, but the way they have it structured, even illegal alien families could fill their pockets from this boondoggle. At a time when runaway inflation is putting American families further and further behind, this proposed legislation will only add gasoline to the inflation flames. Just like the Biden border policy and the Afghanistan withdrawal are disasters, this bill will be an economic disaster. Call your members of Congress and tell them to stop this travesty.
