Hello everyone friends In this video we will be installing Hallo solar modules on the roof and grounding them
Have a great viewing experience Let's start
On this channel you will find more than 180 episodes about building a small permanent house with a summer terrace
In previous episodes I did a review of a 3150 W networked solar power station
He mounted the solar module brackets and installed the inverter in the correct location
We move on to the next stage Installing the Hallo solar modules on the previously installed mounting structure
The entire panel array of 10 pieces will be secured with two types of fasteners: end clamp and central clamp
First I marked the risks with a marker on the aluminum profile From this mark the first row of the panel will start
I immediately install the terminal clamp next to these risks The width of the Hallo module is 100 cm
About 150 cm from the center I also attach a central clamp for the two panels
We are starting to install the first panel
The panels are not small and weigh 19 kg so an assistant is required
I call my wife for help Slowly and carefully we lift the panel and place it on the aluminum profile
I align the panel according to the risk and tighten the terminal clamp with an Allen wrench
The first panel is fixed only at the end clamp
I immediately pull the wires out from under the panel in my case the positive wire to the left and the negative wire to the right
We are proceeding with the installation of the second lower panel
I make a gap between the panels of a couple of centimeters I think it's better this way so that the ventilation and cooling will better
I align the second panel relative to the first and similarly secure the second module on the end clamp
I now connect the negative wire to the left side of the second panel and the positive wire to the right side
After installing the two panels on the left side I get a plus and a minus
This plus and minus will fit our inverter
The remaining panels will be connected in series according to this diagram
On the right side of each panel secure the MS-4 adapter cable to a plastic strap
That way all the connectors will hang in the air instead of lying on the metal roof I think this is more reliable
The first reference row has been assembled moving on to the next
First connect the MS-4 adapters you won't go wrong here no options
Tighten the panel and secure it to the previous panel with the central clamp
The central clamp automatically creates the required gap between the panels
Tighten the clamps and repeat the procedure on the fourth panel
I am also repeating the procedure with the clamps here
Four panels in place to continue the convenient assembly I will put up another scaffold section
After installing four panels I became curious how many volts four panels produce on no load
Our Hevel HGT 315 panel should produce an open circuit voltage slightly above 44 volts according to the passport
Four panels produce 160 volts which is 40 volts each even though it is cloudy outside
What does this offer For example our inverter can be connected to a panel array up to 550 volts
Take the maximum open circuit voltage of our Hevel panels which is 44.22 volts and divide it by 550
We get the number 12.43 Rounding down we get the number 12
I can connect exactly that many Hevel HGT 315 panels to our Safari inverter when connecting the panels in series
This is an important point that must be taken into account especially if you don't want to burn out your expensive inverter right at first startup
You're hit you bastard
We continue installing the solar modules Panel by panel the work is proceeding slowly but successfully
Our Hevel heterostructure modules have low degradation compared to other types of panels
Over the course of 25 years our Hevel panels will lose 16.4% of their power
Electricity will increase by about 125% during this time
Electricity prices in our country rise by about 5% each year
Starting July 1st this year a kilowatt will cost 16 kopecks more in our region
Well okay let's not get into that There will be a separate video about the profitability of our station
8 panels are installed only the final finishing row remains
On the last row you need to connect the two panels together The wires do not
need to be extended as the original cable length allows for easy connection
Tighten the remaining terminal clamps
A set of 10 solar modules is installed Let's
measure what they produce together at no load
On average 400 volts normal
After measuring I will put plugs on the MS4 adapters for insulation
These covers were on the inverter and came in handy
Now we need to ground the panel array
Since all panels are mounted on a single aluminum frame
A frame on a metal roof just ground one panel
Each panel frame has a grounding hole
I am connecting a 6 square millimeter grounding wire to this hole
Ignore the color there was no green-yellow wire of the required length
It is ideal to ground with a 6 square millimeter solar cable
This cable is resistant to ultraviolet light
Any wire will need to be additionally protected with a sleeve from the sun
Knowledgable people please advise me is this grounding sufficient
for my setup or should I make crossbars between each panel
I secure the corrugated tube to the aluminum profile
I connect the grounding wire to the grounding busbar in the distribution board
Our solar panels are mounted on the roof and grounded
We still have to show you how to assemble a direct and alternating current panel
This will be covered in the final series
This was the most important and confusing part of the work for me during my study of this topic
Assembly of AC and DC panels
I will try to tell you and show you everything in the finest detail
Thank you for spending time on this video
It gets more interesting from here Subscribe
Wishing everyone good luck See you soon
Goodbye everyone
