Hey, my name is Ray and these are 10 popular European food.
Fondue is super popular in Central Europe, especially in Switzerland.
Fondue is usually a melted cheese in which you dip bread and all kinds of veggies,
or melted chocolate in which you dip fruits and berries.
We all know what pasta is and where it is popular.
Italy!
Pasta comes in all kinds of different shapes and forms
and can be served with many different things and sauces.
My favorite pasta sauce is alfredo, gorgonzola cheese sauce and pesto.
Probably the most popular fast food in Europe, kebab.
Kebab may come in different shape or serving style,
but you will always know what you're going to get.
Delicious chicken or lamb meat with vegetables or fries on the side.
Okay, this one is mainly relative in Eastern Europe,
but it's super popular and loved there.
It's a beetroot soup with sour cream.
It might sound disgusting, but it's pretty good.
The white shoot from the office would love it.
Every single country in Europe has their own favorite pastry,
be it croissants or baguette in France,
strudel in Austria, baklava in Turkey or cinnamon rolls in Sweden.
We, Europeans, love our bread.
Even though so far it may seem that we only eat junk food,
but we love our salads as well.
There's a reason why Mediterranean people
are considered to be the healthiest people on earth.
Well, besides Japan, I guess.
It's because they love their tomato, leaves and other vegetables.
Most countries or cities that have a direct access to a sea
have a great seafood culture,
especially, at least in my opinion, Portugal and France.
Fish can be served smoked, dried, cooked or fresh.
Besides fish, we also love our clams.
Gotta love our shelly friends.
Okay, this might be my favorite thing.
The stews.
This, on the one side looking quite simple dish,
is actually quite complex.
You gotta know what and how much to add to the pot to make it perfect.
In Europe, it's usually served with potatoes,
but some people might even serve it with pasta.
My favorite stews are Irish and Hungarian goulash.
This might be mostly popular in Southern Europe,
but you gotta love a good Italian, Spanish or French wine
with a good hard or blue cheese.
It's especially great to have it during picnic in a park.
Okay, this is probably the most popular drink in Europe.
Every single country has their own favorite brewery,
and there's so many different kind of beer.
It might even take you several years to find your favorite one.
The beer culture is also a huge thing.
There's tons of pubs and even festivals dedicated to beer.
And that's it for now.
I want to know which European dish is your favorite.
