Betvictor Championship League snooker Group 5 saw the introduction of Ronnie O'Sullivan to the
tournament and the Rocket won all four of his day one matches to earn a playoff spot
including beating Mark Selby with three consecutive centuries.
There it is then the third century in a row to clinch victory and Mark Selby won what looked
like it could be quite a psychologically significant opening frame but since then
he's been basically a spectator front row seat at an exhibition of break building by the way
stay with us because we're going to go after this to the decider on table two so a little
bit of bonus coverage coming your way. Kyron Wilson, Mark Williams 125 124 and to finish 140
a total clearance from Ronnie O'Sullivan what a brilliant display of break building. In the playoffs
he would meet Kyron Wilson but from 2-1 down the man O'Sullivan beat in the World Championship
final last August responded with breaks of 1-8 and 1-3-2 to reach the final. In the second
semi-final Mark Williams who finished fourth in the group beat Ali Carter 3-1 despite having lost
the first frame. Williams took the first two frames of the final but Wilson hit back and forced the
decider. Well that's one of the shots of the day given the context fantastic the final frame wasn't
clean cut but eventually Wilson got the red he needed for victory to finally get this one and
Mark Williams says well done terrific display by Kyron Wilson he beat Ronnie O'Sullivan in the
semi-finals he's won an absorbing decider against Mark Williams remember he was 2-0 down in the
final he made breaks of 78 and 83 and at his fourth attempt in this year's Championship League
Kyron Wilson has won a group he will be in the winners group in April he's beaten Mark Williams
by three frames to two.
