Yes, Sombrero Beach in Marathon is the best beach in all of the Florida Keys. I have been to many beaches in Florida and the Florida Keys and Sombrero Beach is where the locals go to the beach. It is located in Marathon in the Florida Keys about a 45 minute drive from Key West.
It has everything. You can Kayak, Snorkel, Picnic, or just relax on this beautiful beach. Since the beach is calm it makes it great for kayaking. Most kayaking companies will deliver kayaks here for free. Be sure to watch my other video on the Best of the Florida Keys where kayaking is a favorite. You must kayak through the mangrove tunnels and can easily be reached from Sombrero beach
This park is clean and amazing and I would consider it a hidden gem that no one wants you to know about to keep the crowds down. It is the best beach in the keys
