HIGHLIGHTS_ Federer defeats Djokovic in London _ Nitto ATP Finals 2019

What a start from Djokovic. Ball striking up to speed straight away, great accuracy in the down the line and then just pummels that cross-court. Too good from Federer. Soaking up the pressure. And striking to break early. Oh, nice. Just incredible athleticism and speed, but also the coordination. It's good. Full exchange. To entertain a full house. Seeing it like a football right now. Better and better. Just so quick to recognize an opportunity to attack. He's round the ball, getting the forehand into play. Such proactive dynamic. Just untouchable from Federer. That was a near perfect set of tennis for Roger Federer in this shootout for a place in the semifinals. That's Gotze from the Serb. All the way through. More brilliance from Djokovic. Just signs that the tide is turning. Marching on to some returns in this game. Producing some serious quality. Oh, that's too good. Break point down. Federer bringing the quality. Fans are ecstatic inside the O2. Oh, nice. Carving underneath that one from the net. It's unravelling fast. It's victory for Roger Federer. His first over Djokovic since 2015. And he moves into the semifinals at the season-ending championships for a 16th time. Federer into the final four. Djokovic is going home. And that means that Nadal will finish the season as the world's number one. What a performance tonight.
