Happy New Year peeps! So Felicia just loves to mess with Mia with all these words she's never heard of before. Definitely a cool language, but major confusion is guaranteed. See if you can follow along....

Hey guys, I'm Mia. G'day mate, it's Flea. Hold up. G'day mate, and why did you call yourself Flea?
It's a force of habit, I mean Australians, we just like to abbreviate
everything. Uh-huh, this kind of explains why I don't understand you after time. Is that why you didn't meet me in the AVO yesterday?
Wait, what?
AVO, it means afternoon. AVO means avocado. Yeah, it does, but not this, Mia.
I seebs explaining myself. Wait, did you just abbreviate an abbreviation?
Seebs, seebs, can't be stopped. I guess I did.
All right, so let me break it down for you and the rest of you who don't understand what I'm talking about. As Aussies,
we enjoy our brekkie with some Vegemite on toast with a hot cuppa. Wait, Vegemite,
isn't it something like super smelly and like super stinky? Well, it's your lucky day, friend,
because I actually bought some for you to try. Oh my god.
Finger out. Do I have an option? No.
Good on you for giving it a go. In the summer,
we light up the barbie and eat sausages and go for a nice cool swim in our cuzzies.
Cuzzies? Gotta get in before it gets dark or the mozzies will be the death of ya, and remember to slip slop slap.
Slip slop what?
What are you talking about?
So you gotta slap on a singlet, slap on some sunscreen, and slap on a hat. And don't forget the thongs.
Get your mind out of the gutter. Okay, hold up, hold up.
I know a little bit about Australia, like Melbourne is a nice city, Sydney is like so cosmopolitan,
but other than that, is it really just like desert, koalas, and kangaroos?
Bloody oath it is, but there's way more than that. Calm down and let's not get into extreme.
I know a little bit more about Australia and how there are a lot of Australians coming to Bali to like surf. Surfer dudes.
Beachy waves. Beachy waves. And like, oh, yeah, beachy waves. Bondi Beach. Don't you guys love going to Bondi Beach?
I love the beach. We grew up with the beach. But my friend Jono, whose real name is John,
who's also a tradie, picked me up in his ute so we could go for a trip to Woolloomooloo,
but we got lost and ended up chucking a Yui in the ute and ended up in Woop Woop.
Hold up. Okay. I need some translation here. Jono, short for John.
Like, how does that even make sense? And went to what? Woolloomooloo? Woop Woop?
Yeah, Woolloomooloo is a beautiful place in Sydney. Well, anyway, I felt crook after that trip and chucked a sickie the next day.
Speaking of sick, seriously, I feel like... God, look that way.
Nothing, sus.
Anyway, Mia, I'm knackered. You hungry? Let's go get some makkas. Makkas? Yeah, you got any moolah? Your shout. Sweet as! Let's hop to it.
Okay, guys, so I'm completely lost here.
I hope some of you understand more of what she was saying than I did, and I hope you learned some of
Australian slang. And just let me know in the comments below what you think of this little skit that we put together.
We'll see you in our next video. Now, I'm gonna try to catch up with that girl.
Felicia!
Wait up!
