This was QUITE the birthday for Thomas! Definitely one we will remember forever! Everyone be sure to wish him a Happy Birthday!! We will keep you updated on whats going on with him!
We are an ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional.
Together we have 6 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby (and 4th son) Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
We are NOT on social media, so the only way to stay updated is to hit that red subscribe button (and that little bell) so you NEVER miss a video! ;)

Happy birthday to you.
You guys are the best kids in the world.
Do you have to peel that?
I don't think so.
That's a firework.
I think you got to peel that because that's a firework.
I'll just let it catch my toast on fire.
Ezra, what do you think of that?
Thank you guys.
Oh my gosh, dude.
I've never had that done ever.
Oh, Ezra.
Oh, babe, no way, dude.
You got me a white one?
No way.
Yeah.
Greasy fingers.
Oh, and you did it?
Babe, you got me more.
Black.
Yeah, blue, black.
What is it?
White.
One's long, one's short.
Okay, give that to dad, sweetie.
What this is?
A book.
Oh my gosh, dude.
Let me show you.
They're your size, but they're like a grayish blue color.
They're cool.
In fact, when you were wearing Eric's,
I thought those were the ones, and I'm like,
he already has those?
Aren't those cool looking?
Maybe they're a dark gray.
I think that's what it was,
and I was like, uh-oh.
Thank you guys so much.
Happy birthday!
That's the best
birthday presents I've ever had because I literally
That's what you wanted, yeah.
Yay, and guess what?
That toast, you're going to be so happy.
That's that pig place
toast.
I suck at cooking,
making it was my first time ever.
Ezra's bumping this. Sorry, guys.
Good morning, guys.
We've had a little bit of change of plans.
I have planned a fun
day, honestly,
morning until evening, late into
the evening, and
we will see if any of those
things are about to happen.
Thomas definitely needs to be looked at today,
and so we are on our
way to the emergency room right now.
Music
Ezra, hi!
I miss you.
Hi, buddy!
What are you doing?
We'll be home soon.
We need to tell you guys this, but last night
at like 11.30,
we actually drove here to the emergency room,
and he was so
against going in here,
like this, babe, I promise tomorrow
I'm going to wake up, it's going to be better.
We were fighting about this last night, like, babe,
I need to get in, and he was refusing it,
and so
when it got as bad as it did in the middle of the night,
he's like, okay, I'll go.
So,
but the doctor's like, yeah, this doesn't
heal by itself, like when you have a
infection, you don't want
to mess around with that, especially when you have fevers
and all these other symptoms, because
it'll usually just get worse.
So I'm glad we brought him in.
Well, there is one positive.
We got Christmas in July
going.
You can tell he's feeling sicker, his stuff's
wearing off.
Okay,
so he has an IV
of antibiotics going
there.
Yes, into his big swollen
leg, and
then he had to get some blood work done
right here. So the doctor
said it looks like MRSA,
which is a skin infection,
right? My dad has had MRSA
before, and I know that was scary.
So,
I'm a little nervous. So he's getting the
IV antibiotic, and then he's also taking
oral antibiotics. So,
crossing our fingers that within the next
24 hours, it gets better, and not
worse. Otherwise, we will be right back here.
I just realized
we haven't really explained, like,
how this all happened. So Sunday
night, Thomas was like, okay,
my leg, like, started hurting at church
today. And he's like, I think maybe it's
just like an ingrown hair, or something like that.
And he showed me, he's like, it hurts to
touch it. And it was
literally maybe this big. Just
something really small. And then,
like, through the night, the next day,
he's like, now it's like, it hurts to
walk. Like, every time I put
pressure on it, it hurts. And it was
getting bigger, like the spot, the area
was getting, like, more red. And he's
like, maybe this is a bug bite. Maybe that's what
this is. And then,
my aunt, who is staying here with
us, she is a nurse, and she's like,
you know, if it keeps
doubling in size, you definitely
need to go get it checked out, because it does
look like, she felt it, and she's like,
okay, this is hot to the touch. I am
going to assume that this is
an infection. So, we kept circling
it, and the biggest it got
was, um, I can't use both
my hands right now, but literally, like, about
this big, but in a circle, okay?
Um, right below the knee.
And then, last
night, in the middle of the night, it spread all
the way down to his foot. So, it
went from right above the knee, and his
entire leg, as you guys saw in those earlier
clips, is completely swollen and
red and inflamed. And
it's so painful. He is
nauseous. He had fevers
all night. He can hardly
walk. Like, it is so painful for
him to walk. And so, my
dad had this. My dad had lost both of his
legs. I don't take things like this lightly.
And so, I'm like, we, I don't give a crap
if we have to go to the emergency room. We are going.
So, yeah. I'm glad we did.
They're keeping an eye on it. The doctor
took pictures of it. They drew a big line around
it, so that they know if it spreads even
more. But they said, by
Friday, if it's not
better, come back, and we will do more
antibiotics through an IV.
So, that's the plan. He is on antibiotics.
He's taking two different ones, twice
a day. So, that's the plan.
Cross your fingers that this stuff
works, because he is in a lot of
pain. And I feel so bad. Like, we had so many fun
plans for his birthday today. Luckily,
tonight, you will see
we have some fun things we're doing. It'll
be really relaxed, and calm, and chill.
And so, he will enjoy that. But
in true Thomas style, he is
sending off this last year of his 20
with a bang. How are you feeling right now?
He's still feeling like
crap. Really? Did you ask me
to also? Yeah, you can. Cute.
That's your hat.
I'd like to congratulate
on your birthday, Thomas.
Happy birthday, kid.
They don't look like much, but trust me.
They did it. That wasn't me. That was
from them. Isn't
that cool?
Look at him. He's like,
Oh, I'm good. I'm actually feeling great.
All of a sudden.
No, bro. You're gonna get scared on those
wheels.
Okay, let's check it out.
Let's check it out. Look at you guys
making him smile.
I've never done nothing for Thomas.
He was wearing those other wheels out real fast.
Oh, yeah.
We gotta take a second and applaud Russ on his awesome
wardrobe today. Once again,
it just blows our minds how great he
looks. How buff he's
looking. It's some awesome
stuff. We're really proud of him.
See if he can fall.
We did not even vlog
going to dinner, and now I feel
bad. He's in
a lot of pain right now.
Babe, really?
Do you need me to carry you?
I wanna
show you something. Come here.
Hey.
For what?
It's me.
Oh my gosh, babe. No way.
Where did that come from?
Well, everybody that's coming is running late,
so here we are. Look at this.
This is so fun.
Okay, I totally want one now.
Who's that kid right there?
How was your birthday, babe?
It was literally the best birthday I've ever had.
I don't know how you can say that
without lying because... Truth?
Yeah. My body is the worst I've ever
felt probably in my life, but...
Really? Yeah, like I have the worst fever ever
and I can't walk. My leg hurts so bad.
So,
aside from that,
the highlight of my day is being with Simon
and Cohen outside and Ezra,
and I always set up tents and stuff like that
so we can play and crash
out in the yard, and so to
have a big old movie theater screen like that
with the boys out there with me,
that's the best birthday I could ever ask for.
This was
probably
number one, I'm not even exaggerating,
number one birthday I've ever had.
Aside from the fact that I need to go to the emergency room right now.
No, you do though.
We might be taking him in again.
His symptoms aren't
improving, so...
Can I see your leg though? Yeah.
Let's look at it. Let's at least just look at the leg.
Babe, the redness is going
away though. Like, look at that. That is
all skin. It looks
different in the camera, but
this is 100% skin color, babe.
And it is
100%, and then just right here is
like purple and red.
Then why is it still so swollen?
Honey, I think it's just because... I don't know.
I really think it's getting better.
I will literally need a happy skin.
Babe, it's getting better. I promise.
I think that we just need to
like stay, right when you wake up,
take your next dose of antibiotics and let's see how
you do, okay? I think we should just say goodnight
and then we'll finish talking to each other. No, no.
That's an awful angle. All the angles
are so bad right now. Okay, there we go.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
This has been the best birthday ever.
And we will see you guys
Bye. Yeah, tomorrow.
I'm gonna come home and be pissed if I said that.
Tomorrow.
We'll see you guys tomorrow.
Bye.
