but he was one of the players in the list at liverpool he was dreaming of this possibility to play also together with his brother tiago alcantara hey guys welcome back on the channel with fabrizio romano as always to discuss about the transfer market and guys we have some secrets some behind the scenes of the window because many things happened as we know many different kind of things for many different kind of clubs and liverpool have been busy with the midfielder situation till the last hours of the transfer window but what really happened and who was the real target for this man for Jurgen Klopp let's jump into it together and so guys it's important to remember that liverpool signed Arthur Melo on a long deal in the last hours of the window by reaching an agreement with Juventus liverpool explored many possibilities i can tell you that one of the names they had in the list was Rafinha from Paris Saint-Germain that at the end he joined club so he decided to go for a different kind of experience but he was one of the players in the list at liverpool he was dreaming of this possibility to play also together with his brother tiago alcantara but then at the end it didn't happen and so for liverpool is important to mention that they decided to go for Arthur Melo they decided to reach an agreement with Juventus on loan with the buy option close at the beginning of the deal they tried to keep it secret liverpool never announced this buy option close because they wanted to keep it secret and so the message from liverpool was a straight loan for Arthur Melo then Juventus are forced to communicate the real details of the negotiations in their official statements because of the italian rule and so they revealed that Arthur Melo has also this kind of close in the deal with liverpool it's a loan with buy option around 35 million euros so let's see what liverpool will decide to do next summer but what is important is that they have a new midfielder the brazilian Arthur Melo but Jurgen Klopp a few days before signing Arthur Melo saying we had a midfielder we wanted this summer it was impossible to sign him because we tried but at the end it was a no and so we focused on different kind of players we know how liverpool work on the market they only go for a player when they are 100 convinced he's the right player it's the right opportunity for the project and for the club who was this player Jude Bellingham said many of you no guys was not Jude Bellingham because liverpool asked for June Bellingham it was end of may beginning of june but it was not even a negotiation with Borussia Dortmund they immediately said he was not on the market untouchable and so was not even a direct talk it was not even a negotiation was impossible to go for Jude Bellingham but liverpool really wanted Aurelien Chouameni he was on the sold him to Real Madrid and liverpool tried to enter into that race till the end guys in june liverpool tried in every way to sign Aurelien Chouameni this man Jurgen Klopp did his best for the deal he called the player many times he tried to explain him the project he had a direct conversation with Chouameni to explain the idea the project the plan with him in the liverpool midfield but no way liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain too with the new director Luis Campos tried to persuade the player to change his mind but Aurelien Chouameni had an agreement with Real Madrid and it was not just the financial reasons it was also because the player was really dreaming of Real Madrid it was his dream club since a long time he only wanted to join Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti also had a big impact on Aurelien Chouameni like Florentino Perez who had a direct conversation with Chouameni but Jurgen Klopp really wanted it he was convinced that Chouameni was the perfect player for liverpool midfield for liverpool projects but sometimes in football you can't sign players because they have different kind of plans and this was the case with Chouameni who joined Real Madrid on a 100 million euros total package addons included from Monaco but liverpool were there they wanted the player and at the end they had Arthur Melo alone with by option from Juventus but be sure that next summer liverpool will go for a really important midfielder dreaming again of Jude Bellingham but it will be a crazy race with many clubs involved and so guys let me know your opinion on Arthur Melo to liverpool on Chouameni deal that was the dream of the rats and then he joined Real Madrid what do you think about it i wait for your comments guys here as always like this video turn on the notification bell and remember to be part of the family subscribe because we will be always here to bring you all the latest all the news all the behind the scenes of the transfer market
