Revenge Fishing on a Tough Lake Fork

How about an in the truck intro day two of lakefork starts here in about 34 minutes at 6 11 now blast off at 6 45 Ended up yesterday with 21 four and pretty much burned every single fish that I thought I could catch So today we're gonna look for some new ones try to re-catch some old ones actually because these In this format, we actually catch weight and release the fish right here on lakefork. So the fish are still there They're still in some of the beds. I could probably go back and catch some of the same ones So we're going to try to do a little bit of that on some of the bigger ones and then Head and run try to find some new water as well and some new fish as well So 21 four yesterday got us in like 25th. I think it's actually in 27th place. Somebody told me that so Not bad, but not good. Our biggest fish we caught yesterday was a 4 15 So today we need to have all four pounders and then maybe one real real big one So that's the goal for today. Let's get up there closer to that mid 20s But at the end of the day all you can do is the best you can do can't control exactly what bites or exactly what? I find but I got to find some of those a little bit better than average fish I'm gonna make a you know top 10 run here. What'd you have yesterday? I had 19 11. That ain't bad after i'm lost as a goose Yeah, he he whines more in practice than anybody i've ever seen in my entire life Like he pull up I ain't have but three bites in a week and a half dude If you fished a tournament day with me, you would be like this is the luckiest guy i've ever seen in my life He's either lucky or really dumb and just runs into one. Right. Do you have a bigger than yesterday? No, no five and a four I had a 4.15 and three more over four I didn't I had a 5.5 a 4.13 and threes. Yeah, but it's terrible. You catch them all looking at them four of them Yeah, I caught like nine fish off the bed. That's literally the nine fish I caught I'm going to I mean everybody caught yours too yesterday. I I tried to start on four and a half pounder. I heard How many times you think that happened today oh a bunch a boy I lost three of them and then like halfway to the boat and caught him again So but yeah, I told him it was a five three. Did he tell you that? Yeah Give me a thumbs up or a thumbs down for the day Female got in there made him get right dude that female pulled up and he went I said they were both three and a half three six. That's got me at what? Yes I hopped off that grass. He ain't in there. All right, let's do it now. We made it to tomorrow That is about three pounds right there Two and a half There we go Heck yeah Got rid of that two something four two four pounder All right, so at 12 o'clock I think at 11 30 we had two fish for six pounds And I just decided to stop being scared and go run a bunch of new water And I found like three three and a half pounders on bed Caught all of them relatively quickly and then went back to a three and a half that I found early this morning Caught it the rain started. So I picked up a swim bait and caught a four pounder and like the last three hours I put it completely together whenever I finally stopped running my old water. So not a bad day 18 15 21 4 was kyle welter's start. Come on out five more to add to your bag today kyle Worth 18 pounds 15 ounces 40 pounds and three ounces through your two days and that'll have you moving on to day three Yeah, you know This is really kind of a tough day for me today. I I caught them pretty good yesterday I caught them fast. I caught a bunch of fish and then today I tried to do a little bit of the same thing and It was about 11 o'clock and I said man stop being a dummy and just go find some new ones So I went around and for the last four hours, but I had a really really good time But the first four hours in my boat was it was not a good time out there But it seems like I kind of figured out today kind of where the new ones are pulling up to kind of the later spawners And kind of pulling up too. So i'm looking forward to going there tomorrow and having one more chance at a big lake Keep that late four hour momentum rolling into your first four hours tomorrow. Good luck in the morning.
