New York City FOOD Tour With CHONNY & DALENA

Good morning guys, like my painting? It is freezing in this house in the winter. I don't even know How am I supposed to survive this? I think I need to like chop down a tree and burn a fire or something. Anyway, I'm going into the city for a couple days to meet a bunch of people. I got a lot of a lot of meetings set up for work. I'm gonna meet my friend Ben. So there's a lot of stuff, so I'm just gonna go into the city. I'm gonna stay there overnight and come back tomorrow night, but tonight's gonna be really cool. Tonight, I'm meeting another YouTuber, Johnny from Australia. Really popular YouTuber in Australia. He seems really cool. He's in town for a few days, so I'm gonna take him around and we're gonna grab some good food. But anyway, let me get out of here because my car is 20,000 times warmer than my house right now. Food at Rockland Bakery. This place is amazing. Let me show you. I just discovered this by chance the other day. They break bread like fresh. All sorts of bread, anything you want. They bake it fresh. Bagels, anything. Look at this. It's just like like like a waterfall of bagels. Welcome to bread heaven. Seriously, any bread, any type of bread you want, you just grab it and then you can go out there and they can make a sandwich out of it. So I'm gonna grab a bag. I don't even know what to get right now. There's so much stuff in here. You can get rolls, subs. This looks good. I'm gonna get one of these. Yeah, gotta get a hero. I ended up getting a cheesesteak. Cheesesteak. Fantastic. It was a great breakfast. Just got into the city. I'm gonna check into my hotel really quick. Then I'm gonna go meet Johnny and we're gonna get this food thing started. This is really interesting. I was checking into the, this is the Courtyard Marriott and they said I could grab anything in their market section except for a sandwich. And this was there. Like a whole pint of Cherry Garcia, Ben & Jerry ice cream, my favorite. I said, can I have this? They're like, yeah. I don't even want this right now. I'm about to go to dinner, but I need this. I'm gonna eat this later. Probably not the best thing to have after a night of eating out and the Asian in me says I just gotta do it. Whoa, this is the biggest hotel room I've ever stayed at in Manhattan ever. Nice view. Look at this room. I didn't know Manhattan hotel rooms got this big. Hope there's a fridge for my ice cream. I just dropped off my bag. Let's get out of here. I'm usually never late, but I am like two minutes late this time because it took me forever to park the car. We're supposed to meet right underneath that green statue. Is that a statue? Oops, wrong statue. They said blue statue, not the green statue. All right, dangers of crossing New York streets. So they actually should be over there. Oh, hey, there they are. Hey, how's it going? Nice to meet you. Hey, nice to meet you. Yeah. Hey, hope you're having a good time. Yeah, I'm vlogging this thing. Hey. Yo, it's Kai. Yo, do we have the same camera? We do. First of all, I wanted to meet here because we're going to have some street foods. Okay. It sounds more terrifying than it really is. And then we're gonna go grab some pizza. Yeah. Then we're gonna go grab some Chinese noodles and we'll end up with some Asian desserts. Awesome. If we see something on the way that looks good, just scream it out and we'll grab some. That's how we do things around here. This is usually like lying down the block and in New York, this is something good to try. It's it's pretty addictive. Just a warning. Yeah. And then, I'm a little, I'm feeling a little scared right now because I haven't had this in so long. You guys better get me into it again. And I found out you guys' dietary restrictions beforehand this week. Lamb and chicken. You're good. And John, you can't handle spice. I can, I can try. No, but he started eating spicy food because of you. Yeah, yeah, I did. A little bit. I saw the chili oil and the hot sauce. Oh, nice, nice, nice. Word of, word of warning for these guys. If they say hot sauce, their hot sauce is, just burn your skin off. It's insane. We're not gonna, we'll get a little bit to go. We're not on your level yet. But just a little bit. This is my first time filming these guys. I eat here a lot usually. I ate here for like every single day for half a month once when I was addicted. And just look at this, it's just a mountain of meat. Yeah, these guys are the best. It's like, just literally, look at this, this is crazy. Okay, this is the, they actually package your white sauce hot sauce now. So, that's the white sauce. White sauce is like basically mayonnaise. Here, you can, there you go. Nice, babe. Nice. Your hand model. Damn. Half lamb, half chicken. Crazy. And there's a couple pitas and lettuce. Just dump the sauce you want on there. So, just, what we do here is we just dump the white sauce on there. Amazing. Extra hot sauce. Do you want like a hot section to yourself here? Nah, just a little bit. A little bit's fine. I don't want to kill myself either. It's all good. It's all good. It's all good. That's good, right? Oh, that's hot. Did you have some hot sauce? Yeah. Oh, man, dude. This used to be like five bucks. I think now it's like, now it's like eight dollars or something. But this is a really economical meal. You got a lot of hot sauce. She got a lot of hot sauce on there. Boom. Yeah. Not bad. Good, good, good. This is like quintessential New York. Come to New York. You want some street food. This is it. I mean, it's not like New York food, but we're in New York. Gotta eat this. Stop two. We are going to go eat some pizza. I've been waiting for this moment. We're going to try to get into Ruby Rosas. I don't know if we can. But we're going to try. That place, that's so good. But if not, Prince Street is right down the corner. All right. Let's go. Let's find a way down there. Where are we at, Mike? We are at Ruby Rosa Pizzeria. Probably one of the best pizzas. Best thin crust pizzas you'll ever have. You excited? Yeah. Very. Vodka pizza. If we can get a seat. If we can get a seat in there. It's so crowded. I love this place. But wait, we're actually going through here. Here, let's see if we can find a spot. Love this place. So we have a pizza cooking in Ruby Rosas. I did a video there. They had no idea who I was. They're like, who are you? Why should we give you a... This thing is going crazy. Why should we give you a pizza? But we're still going to go there. But we're going to go to Prince Street and get a slice first. Because that's awesome. Let's do it. My gimbal is going crazy. Pizza. We're going to pizza it up. Your first... Well, you had dollar slices already. I had a dollar pizza. Which is not bad for... But New York standard, not great. So I can't wait to try this pizza. Your first square slice in New York. I'll hold it. No, no, no, go ahead, go ahead. That one's cool. Alina's going to try the one with no pepperoni. It's fresh out of the oven. That's a lot of pressure right there. It's good? Saucy and cheesy. Try that pepperoni. Whoa, that pepperoni. Right, right. Crispy. It's got to be like that. It's got to be crispy. A little bit oily. Are you sure you don't want pepperoni? Yes, I'm sure. Thank you. That's fantastic. We have Ruby Rosa pizza. Voila! Oh my gosh. That looks amazing. Don't drop it. We've only waited an hour for it. It smells so good. Is that orange? No, it's vodka sauce. Can you taste the vodka? Not really. But yeah, you get a nice... It's actually a pretty mild flavor. Yeah, fold it up. Do the New York fold. You've got to try to fold it in the middle a little bit. There we go. Now it's a mini pizza. Oh, that's so good. And then I died. It's almost like a pizza cracker. It's so thin. Definitely this one. Yeah? Definitely this one. Even though it doesn't have meat, it still wins out. Best pizza you've ever had in your life? Best pizza I've had in my life. Thank you, Mark. We owe you one. I only like the burgers. He clearly doesn't like us. That's why he brought us here. He doesn't recommend it though. No, it's good, right? I think they commercialized it way too much. But, I mean, the burgers are good. The burgers are bomb. Everything else. Yeah. We trust Mike. And each location is different. So this one we went to, it's not the original location. Which I typically go to. We'll see. What does it taste like? It's a lot of cumin in it. It's cumin. It's very Chinese-y. Is it? Yeah, absolutely. I didn't know that. Yeah, we use a lot of cumin. Not bad. Not great. But it's not amazing. No. Okay. Alright, we're going to just keep going. Hand pulled noodles at Spicy Village. I usually love hand pulled noodles in Queens. So disclaimer, this is probably not the best hand pulled noodles. It's in Queens. Best one is in Queens. So hand pulled noodles and beef. Beef. Beef hand pulled noodles. It's a little nummy. It's a little spicy. So you might have a little problem with that, Johnny. This place is not that bad. It's not the best, but it's not that bad. The car's making it look like a Chinese restaurant. It smells really nice. How's that stir, sir? There you go. Good job. That noodle looks good. Look at that noodle. That's a nice slurp, man. Good? Good. Alright. Alright, nice. One of the best places in Manhattan. So these are hand pulled bian bian noodles. Texture should be kind of chewy. A little al dente. You like it? I like it. And we're going to go to Spa Dessert.
