Big Bass Big Moves

five four three two one five fish here today on day number one 13 pounds and an ounce and five today looking for 10 six to get in the cut 16 11 going fishing tomorrow all right day three pick wick lake bass mash loot series so relieved to actually be fishing day three oh my goodness the mood in the boat yesterday was was like frantic had one really big one bite early caught him proceeded to lose four or five keepers in a row couple of big ones that's just how it goes sometimes you're gonna lose them that's just part of bass fishing we stayed in there kept grinding kept trying everything we could try and finally put five in the boat ended up catching three big ones yesterday had a big small mouth a big large mouth and then like a three and three quarter large mouth and then two small ones ended up with 16 11 not bad it's a good day for sure i would take that again today we're gonna try to do a little bit better than that but just excited to be fishing day three making the day three cuts is what it's all about and then a couple times throughout the year make a day four cut and paying attention to wind it's just like the icing on the cake so day three happy to be here got to go out today string something together fix figure something out we can catch us a dang big old bag so excited to get out there and try to put it together all right so the way bass master does on day three because it's all about performance base as far as your boat number goes they they actually hold back everybody that's like 26 through 50 another like today it's going to be 25 extra minutes or 30 extra minutes so we have to actually wait 30 minutes for flight two before we ever get to take off so right now we're just waiting on the flight number two to take off but we do get that time back at the end of the day but everybody on day three gets an even eight hour fishing time so it's the fairest way to do it and we're just waiting now for our turn to blast off classic qualifier give me a little love for kyle welcher had that one hooked where he was bleeding so went ahead and threw him back he'll be my smallest one anyway now the damn good one five females 445 what's up big man how you doing it was unbelievable i ain't never caught that before in my whole life i made a bad call at one point i threw i weighed one threw it back to the 445 and then i checked see how they were doing and i was like damn that one there looks small so i picked him up he was a he was a 427 so i was like somehow i made the wrong call so i was pulling to the next pocket to catch another 445 i was like well back where he was if you will yes from alabama get loud for kyle welcher had 29 pounds 12 ounces as of this morning and a good day today five fish needs a giant day to get inside the cup but gonna get some rally points here 24 pounds 11 ounces 24 11 and rockets all the way into 13th place with 54 pounds 7 ounces just 2 pounds 6 ounces short of the top 10 but man what a day number three rally what what is what did you change the fish change what happened up there you know late in the evening yesterday i started fishing a little bit shallower than i had been for the first two days because whenever the water came up six feet i kind of felt like the fish weren't going to come with it initially and then whenever i on day one they definitely seem to still be out like in the six seven foot range and then yesterday evening i got a really good bite up in like two feet of water so this morning i just started out fishing the way i wanted to throwing a swim jig and uh flipping a missile-based d-bomb around and it seemed like everything i set the hook on was like a four pounder or better today so i mean we just landed on a group of four pounders my second cast was a four pounder my third cast was a four pounder i picked up a spinner bait went to my second spot like three casts was a four pounder so i mean it was just unreal the way the females had moved up to two feet between yesterday and today because i ran some of the same water where i caught nothing but males and short fish yesterday but today every time i got a bite it was just a dang big and so i had a lot of fun today it was one of those days that make you really appreciate why we put all this work in and come out here and bass fish because it all came together early today and it was just a blast and i really wish we could take however many people it takes to let me go tomorrow because i really want to go back i appreciate y'all coming and i'm glad we saved some points today awesome awesome performance let's hear it for him ladies and gentlemen 24 11
