Crown & Caliber x HODINKEE Capsule Collection

I'm Cole Pennington. I'm an editor at Hodinkee. I'm Nora Taylor. I'm the deputy editor at Hodinkee. So to zoom out a little bit. I'm going to zoom out. We work in New York, Hodinkee, and Crown & Caliber. They're one company now. So this is our first time coming down to Atlanta and meeting all of our new co-workers, seeing what the operation is about. I'm Mark Hackman. I work here at Crown & Caliber. We created a capsule collection with Hodinkee, a little over 30 watches that we thought would be interesting for the Hodinkee audience and the Crown & Caliber audience to see some different, unusual, and also just highly important watches. And on top of that, we did a three-watch collection with Nora and Cole from Hodinkee. We each got to pick out our personal favorite everyday, evening, and weekend watch from the entire Crown & Caliber archives. That's probably the most fun you can have in this job. You're the watch geek that gets to go and play with all the toys and say, yes, that's the one I want. Like that's, that doesn't get much more fun than that. It does inspire a certain spirit of adventure. You'd be a great copywriter. Oh, thanks. If you are on a cruise ship, if you do happen to drop it overboard and you wanted to go recover it, you know that it's worth going to recover it because it's still ticking. The amount of expertise that is in this office is just like, whew, it's a dream. And it was just really great to see such a wide variety of watches. Hodinkee at Israel still serves the reader, right? Oh, yeah. Now Crown & Caliber has a massive inventory available for us to tap into. I am tempted to do like an early Beyoncé, House of Darion, like full denim jumpsuit, maybe a cowboy hat. Wow. Lean into it. Rarely have I ever seen a ton of watches from the 90s and 2000s together. And at this price point. It is seriously a special moment because a lot of companies have offices in different cities and you don't get sent down there to be like, meet these nice people and like learn from them. And I get to spend time with you. Yeah, that is great.
