That Bev has been on a great roll offensively, and he's got the first basket of the game. Bam Adebayo. Now Kyle Lowry, the 36-year-old, bodies up and he scores in the paint. Adebayo, he was the man of the match, so to speak, against the Clippers the other night, and he scores. Blocked that time by Adebayo. Out of bounds. There is Darvin Hamm. His top three scores are out tonight. Here comes somebody stopping him, the one-hand jab. No defensive support for the Lakers laid up and in by Tyler Hill. Right down the middle, no defense, and Jimmy Butler gets an easy one. Adebayo giving Schroeder some room. Dennis still goes around him and scores. Lakers home for the first time since December the 23rd. Miami is pretty much home to Lakers since the bubble championship, and that's knocked down by Schroeder. Jimmy Butler mid-range. A rebound and score by Caleb Martin. Oladipo, the most improved player a few years back, voted off a double-up on Russ, and they hit him on the head. Russ going one-on-one. Wengen Gabriel attacks the rim all the way. The scoop and the score for Wengen. Well, the eight games since he's returned from a shoulder injury, averaging over seven points. Martin from the outside. He had a real quiet return after a layoff. Troy Brown Jr. hits the deck, but again, no whistle. Russ has got in the front court. Pull-up off the window. Of course, it's off the glass for two. One of his favorite shots from that angle obviously is using the backboard. Oh! Here's Butler in the lane to score. Jimmy Butler, six-time All-Star. Kendrick Nunn was there, but then they went right over him. Oh, and he's hurt. Yeah, he got really... And Butler makes it. He's had eight lead changes. Nine. Got it! Yes, sir! Shot clock is nine ahead of the game clock. Shooter looks to split. Count it! And he's scored. He's going to get an and-one. Right between two defenders. Russ with some speed. Russ nearly gets knocked down. Nearly double dribbles. Gabriel! Russ from three. Got it! Ring it up. Knock it down. Russell Westbrook. Russ crossover. Russ all the way. Trying to get around Kendrick Nunn. Hands in the air and scores. Boy, worked the body well that time. Creates his own shot. Russ has another three. Seven and a half to play here in the quarter. Nunn the floater is good. They've allowed seven points off of the previous six. Well, Thomas didn't come out, so Oladipo said, I'll shoot. 21 for the Lakers. He's passed there. Boy, just towing the baseline with J.J. Good pass out of the Bryant for Russ. Trying to get to the rim and doing so. That time all the way is Max Juice. Beverly, good fake. Then Dedman came out and was unable to stop Pat Bev. Jimmy Butler, boy, operating in the lane. Mid-range out to Kyle Lowry. From Butler to Ottobio. Boy, that's a combination right there that will get you a lot of points. Butler to Lowry. To Ottobio. All the way and down it goes. And it began with Jimmy Butler turning and shooting and scoring. Right around Patrick Beverly. Wide open Beverly. Now it's Schroeder on his way. Got it. Boy, did everybody touch it that time down the floor? I think so. Weaves all the way, throws it up and in. Austin, who got the starting nod tonight. No LeBron, no AD, no Lonnie Walker. The top three scores for the Lakers. Bam. Ottobio. Schroeder. Boy, nobody picked him up. He went all in into the rim. Underneath, look at the tip. And the score counted to Butler. That ball's off the foot. Weaves gets hit. And Butler's going to go in and score. And now it's Austin Weaves shaking up. Schroeder's at it again. You were talking about him. Dennis, again, just sized up Bam. Butler hands it off for Ottobio. Two-point game. Martin, they leave him just for an instant. He makes a pay. And we are tied for just the fifth time tonight. Butler, the handoff. And we'll shoot one to try to complete the three-point play. Protecting the rim. That'll count if it goes. It goes. Butler threw it over his head and in and gets an and-one. Butler has just taken over this game in the third quarter. Westbrook bumps into Strewson and scores. Straightaway jump shot. Short. Outlet goes to Reeves. He's all the way. Can't score. Tipped up. No! Good hustle by Kendrick not to at least keep it alive. Oladipo leans in and scores. Switches it through, but just inside the free-throw line. Here's Dedman leaning in. A little teardrop from their center, Dedman. Max gathers it. And he throws it away. And now it's a two-on-one. Butler, Oladipo, that never touched the floor. That's the way you run a break. Yeah, nice. And the Lakers are down. Lanes in. Very deep, soft touch for Gabriel. Rust, good move. That time he used the right hand. Yeah, but another crossover that left Strewson wondering where he went. It's leading in and scoring is Kendrick Nunn. Low scoring up there. And once again, it's Tyler Hero. He's not doing it from the outside. We're going to see Thomas Bryant and Austin Reeves in a moment. Wide open three, and they equal their biggest lead of the game at 83-79. It's by JTA. Reverse layup is pretty. Good dribble penetration by Schroeder. Reeves at the elbow. He's going to get it back. Oh, and scores! Hero steps right into it and scores a three. You get the ball in the middle. Now you have to turn and face the basket and be an offensive threat. Like that. Yeah, Thomas had it. With seven minutes to play. T. Bryant underneath. Score! With the slam! Rust steps into the passing lane. Russell Westbrook with it. Rust down the middle. Kick it. Schroeder on its way. Yes, sir! Dennis for three. Handoff goes to Rust. Back to TB. A little. There hasn't been much of a difference. Out of bounds it goes. Look at Bev right up in his uniform. They've got three. They've got two. It didn't matter. Free throw for him basically. Offensive rebound. T. Bryant! Westbrook goes around Hero. Goes around Lowry. He's underneath for two. In the puck! Whistle. Schroeder dancing. Schroeder the three. The rainbow! He got fouled. He's shooting three. 102-96. Two and a half to Butler. Got it. What a huge three for Jimmy Butler. As he taps it in. One point game. Schroeder! Catch. Score. Got it. Miami has two timeouts. Lakers have two timeouts. Nobody has a foul to give. Austin Reeves. One out of two. Schroeder looking to go to the rim all the way. Score! Dennis Schroeder. Butler misses. Follow. Good. Now the Lakers call a timeout. Here is Austin Reeves finding Russ. Score! For Strews. Doesn't have it. Strews again on his way. Got it! Four seconds left. Gotta get it in. They foul Schroeder. They did the right thing. And again, whatever Miami does is gonna be quickly. Lead is three. Lowry. Again waiting. Finds his man. This is for the tie!
