We are a FUN and ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional and speaker in her company.
Together we have 5 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
Well, according to my phone,
there was a 0% chance it would rain today.
And it's raining!
Ezra, I know what you want to do.
I know it.
Let's go get your shoes on.
Yeah, let's go find some.
Ezra, let's get your shoes.
Where's your shoes?
There they are.
Let's get your shoes on.
Good.
Scoot to the ledge.
Let's get your shoes on.
We got you some new ones yesterday, huh?
Okay.
These are the same ones, just bigger.
Ah!
He screams before I even put it on.
Okay, let's go play outside.
What did you bring me?
A stick and...
A stick and a stone.
What are you gonna build with it?
Ah!
When you stick this in the stick,
you make it to a shovel.
A shovel?
All we can do that with one stick and one cobblestone.
That's awesome, dude.
Ezra's down for his nap right now.
So I wanted to come out and show you
what the boys are doing down here.
And it's just so fun.
Hold on.
My battery thing's open.
What the heck?
Okay, there we go.
Fixed it.
Okay, we set this up yesterday
and they have been out here all morning
since they got home from school.
And they're technically playing outside,
but I'll show you what they're doing.
You got your PlayStation out here?
Is that so fun?
Looks so fun.
There's a lot of saws going on and yard work,
so it's kinda loud out here, huh?
All right, I feel like today's kind of a weird day.
It's only like two, three o'clock.
It is so dark outside.
It looks like it's gonna rain,
but according to my phone,
there's zero chance of rain.
I think it's lying.
Tom is building tables.
He has like, I think like six tables
he's building this week.
So he's gonna be pretty dang busy
for the majority of the week.
But I'm not gonna lie,
when it gets dark and dreary,
that is my favorite.
And maybe I've mentioned this before in another video.
Anytime the weather is gloomy,
I get a text from my mom that says,
are you listening to what I think you're listening to?
And the answer is always yes.
Me and my mom are the same person, I swear,
but we always rock Christmas music.
Anytime it's gloomy, actually, let me be honest,
we rock it all the time.
It is my favorite.
I'm obsessed with Christmas.
I know there's a lot of people that are out there
that say, oh, I start listening to Christmas music in July.
Yeah, I never stop listening to it.
So it's a really good thing that Thomas is equally obsessed
because it's like our treat at night.
If we sit down and watch a Christmas Hallmark movie,
we are so weird.
We're so weird, but I don't even care.
I love all things Christmas.
The funny thing is, though,
I feel like when it comes to actual Christmastime,
I like it more, yeah, it's raining right now.
I see sprinkles.
But I actually feel like I like Christmas more
when it's not Christmas.
So right now, when I'm listening to music
and it's raining outside, that is my favorite.
When it's actually Christmastime,
I feel like I'm so stressed out
with getting last minute things done
and decorating and doing all the things
you have to do, and it's overwhelming.
So I like it when it's not really Christmas
and just listen to the music, have a candle on,
watching a movie, having hot chocolate,
doing the whole shebang without the worry
of the hustle and the bustle.
So that's a little information maybe you guys didn't know.
But yeah, we're Christmas freaks around here,
all of us, the whole family.
Just an FYI if you didn't know.
I don't know if I showed you guys
what we ended up doing with our cute record player.
So we put it on this little end table.
Then I have all the records in there.
But let me give you a quick, I think it's already on
because I was listening to it earlier today.
Seriously, there's nothing better than that crackle.
Oh my gosh.
It totally feels like Christmas right now.
Ah!
What you doing, girl?
Oh, you know, just look at it.
It says zero percent chance of rain right now
and it's raining currently.
That's insane that they can be that wrong and stop jobs.
Me?
If I built a table and said there's 100% chance
it'll be six feet and then they show up
and it's four feet, I'm fired.
I'd be out of a job.
Ain't nobody gonna buy nine tables.
Do you know where I wanna go?
Yeah.
Let's go get a hot chocolate and a treat.
Since it's so cold, okay?
Let's go tell Coen.
Let's just turn into a fun little outing.
Dad, you're not gonna come.
Oh my goodness, I'm so excited.
I think I can say I'm excited enough.
I just don't.
And I never drive.
Like, if we're all going together, I never drive.
So, are you excited?
Yeah.
Isn't he so attractive?
Look how big those nostrils are.
Hey, don't say that when I'm trying to be ugly.
Ezra, I'm sad I can't run in the rain, too.
I'm so mad, too.
That dent on your forehead, dude.
Holy cow.
Look at this thing.
I don't think it looks the best.
Like, I'm not even 10 feet.
What are you talking about?
It's a hit and miss.
Sometimes, you know, when you don't wanna wait.
What do girls know?
What did you learn at church on Sunday?
What did they teach you with pizza?
10 pieces of pizza.
You get one cookie, then you get to keep the nine.
Yeah, what is that supposed to be?
Like, tithing?
When you pay tithing, you give 10%.
Is that right?
Yeah.
So, he was asking,
where are we supposed to give Jesus the pizza at?
Yeah, tithing's where that's at.
How do we give Jesus pizza?
Oh, I didn't even notice that.
You didn't notice he said that?
Where are we supposed to give it to him?
Um, I don't know.
Say, can we just keep this tomorrow
until Jesus, like, comes back to life?
Oh, he's already alive.
Yeah.
Okay, then, why isn't he coming?
You're crazy, you're tall for Ezra.
I just wanna keep updating you guys
how freaking huge these flowers are now.
Holy cow.
Like, that's, like, full now.
Just wait, just wait.
Like, I swear, by August, you won't see dirt.
It'll be so full.
What happened, sweetheart?
Say, we were battling, and things got,
what happened, Mom?
Keep your head up.
Do you want to go jump in the bathtub?
Well, who got defeated?
You got defeated?
Oh, we got defeated by Simon.
Simon, what happened?
They bunked heads.
What happened?
Come here, honey.
Animal error.
Oh, yeah, you tell him, you tell him.
Friendly fire is what we call that.
Right?
Simon turned around all fast and running.
Smacked him right in the nose.
Honey, all I saw was you go down in the grass.
And you were crying, honey.
But you're being so tough.
Like, you got bumped really hard, didn't you?
Yeah, but freaking, he only had one life, huh?
You got defeated in it?
Yeah, game over for Cole, huh?
Daddy's had a few of these in his life.
Actually, true story, my nose has only ever bled
like one time that I can remember ever.
Ever.
Really?
But you've had a few hurt noses.
Yeah, I've had quite a few swollen noses.
But I've never had a bloody nose except for once.
You know what, speaking of,
your nose has healed pretty well.
I thought for sure you broke it the other day.
Ezra, please don't jump on that.
Thank you.
Pop a squat and slide off.
Thank you.
Stick that up in there.
What was your favorite part about today?
About you and me was chasing each other.
That was your favorite part?
That was my favorite part, too.
Cole, what was your favorite part about today?
I was kind of playing with Daddy.
Yeah, playing with Dad?
What do you guys want to do tomorrow?
You want to teach me how to play?
Yeah.
Okay, that sounds like fun.
No, I already teached her.
You taught me how to play Minecraft.
No, I taught about Lego games, though.
Oh.
All right, guys, well, will you tell our friends goodnight?
Goodnight.
And what else do you want to say?
Tomorrow, y'all know, whatever.
Mommy, I can't see you with that.
