USA vs France 1 - 3 All Goals & Highlights | January 19, 2019

Sarah Bouhadi Right hand side. It's a good challenge the first one. Now the cross comes back in. It's not bad either. Tine. Leaves it for Masry. And here's Danger. Done. Tipping the ball over the top down the left hand side. Looking for that run of Lindsay Horan. Got there as well. Fox just took a foot off the accelerator. The cutback for Diani. And France have opened the scoring. ...team. The Paris Saint-Germain forward. Fantastic play by Cascarino. Laurels. Cascarino stealing back possession. Brilliant play by the Lyon winger. Just 21 years of age. The cutback was perfect as well. Cascarino's ball in towards Le Sommet. Get it clear. Strong challenge. Grisalia. Accomplished footballer Lindsay Horan. That's a nice run. And the cross in. France on the attack again with Diani. Into the area. Lindsay Horan there to help clean up a little bit for the US. The crowd there. On the right foot. Lindsay Horan still chipping it back in. And a comfortable claim for Buadi. Looks a bit like a rugby match there now. And some flying feet. Watch this from Brian. She grabs the ball and then tries to... She gets it back again. Touch into the area. She was looking for Masuri again. The cross in. Not a bad one towards Dunn. Press is arriving as well. It's well defended but well... Cascarino into the area now. The cutback again for Diani. It was almost a carbon copy goal for France. And heading forwards Delphine Cascarino. Torrance cross is a good one for Le Somer. And the header is saved by Nea. It's a great run again from Cascarino. Three on three if the US can play their cards right. Look at that from Press. Great acceleration. And the shot from the edge of the area with the left foot. Saved comfortably by Buadi. But it's a first real shot in anger from the United States team in this match. Straight back in. Here's where Morgan is so dangerous. Kemper in fact with the job of trying to mark Wendy Renard. It's not easy. They try and tackle her at the back post. Oh, so close to a second goal. Armandine Henry was arriving at the back post. They managed to avoid all the mark. Horan outside the ball for her to run on to. At that time it's Torrance not taking any chances. Turns it behind. It's not easy to beat. Wendy Renard in the air. But it comes back in again. Horan. Oh, she was leaning back. Perhaps if she'd left it for Alex Morgan. Lindsay Horan. Oh, good. But the flag was up for offside. Let's have a look. I think it was a correct decision that time. Just about that. It is indeed. Halftime at the Stade de l'Océan. Where Kadi Diatou-Diani's goal in the ninth minute separates the two sides. Alex Morgan has barely had a sighting on goal. Accelerating now. Looking for Morgan. It's a great pass. Sara Bouadi coming flying off a line. It was fantastic. Oh, and just wide. It was Dal Kemper that got herself in all sorts of trouble. Armandine Henry then. The ball ricocheting off Sonnet. Who's much more of a finesse player as that's a nice ball in. And it's Armandine Henry who clears the danger. Corner now to the United States. Pugh again. A third chance to win the ball in. Oh, and it made it all the way through to Alex Morgan after Press missed it. And it just wouldn't sit for Alex Morgan. I think she was surprised that it made it all the way through to her. Warren goes again. It's well played. Warren's cross. Oh, on the left foot. It's a fantastic ball. In Nice in their second matches. Here goes Diani again. Oh, and it's in. I think it was a cross. With the ball. Melissa Nea in the American goal. Beaten all ends up. And Katie Diani has her second of the evening. And her country's second of the evening. France 2, USA 0. Oh, it's a spectacular goal. It was being confronted by three white shirts. Let's have a look as Alex Morgan falls here. But she gets stepped on, I wonder. A lynch with Rosalia. It's done. I think that's gone out of play. It's named by Bouadi. That's his Horan. Horan with a bit of space. Oh, the pass for Dunne just overhead. Had a little bit less on it. She might have found a teammate there, and she knows it as well. Now, Armandine Henry now. Who hits it? Oh, that's a good pass. Dunne, she'll get there ahead of Bouadi. Oh, and it's a fantastic tackle. Sarah Bouadi coming a long way. And I thought Dunne had the drop on her there. There's Katoto now. An excellent piece of defending from Dunne. Clearing the ball off the toe of Eugenie Lozomer. Lovely one, too. It's a great cross from Katoto. And an excellent piece of defending. With the ball in. Back out to Boussalia. Wendy Renard playing the ball. Using her pace to go around the American keeper. And pass the ball into the empty net. You can see how happy the France national team coach is. Look at this. The turnover. Press. Takes the free kick. It's a good ball in. The head up. Across the face of goal. You can see the quality the USA side has. There's the ball in. And press. Maya came for it. Katoto. Just seems to take a foot off the accelerator as she prepares to shoot here. Well played. She's got that in front position as well. It's a great finish. And the US are on the score sheet. Mallory Pugh. The Washington pride. Forward. On the score sheet for the US. And saving the pride of the world champions. Attack for the USA. I don't think so. There goes the final whistle. It's a fantastic victory. For the France national team. And their coach Cohen Diak. Courtesy of two goals from Kedi Diatu Diani.
