Usain Bolt is best known as the superstar Jamaican sprinter, widely considered the fastest
human on the planet, and since his Olympic success, he's been able to grab himself
some beautiful properties in Kingston, Jamaica, and more recently, a spot in Brisbane, Australia.
Usain's life has certainly gone from rags to riches, as his childhood was spent on a
dusty street where goats wander loose between wooden shacks in Jamaica.
So we'll take a look at his first ever home, including his mansion there.
More recently, Usain snagged a luxurious rooftop penthouse while trying to kickstart his soccer
career in Australia.
Let me tell you, those stunning rooftop views and the private spa definitely deserves a
gold medal.
Today we'll be checking out the fastest man on the planet's homes.
In these videos we don't reveal any addresses, and even though I've done a house tour of
my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe
for anyone.
Usain Bolt has had quite the lucrative career as a sprinter, considered the fastest one
at that, garnering a net worth of 90 million dollars.
He is one of the highest paid athletes in the world, especially during Olympic seasons,
typically earning around 20 million dollars per year then.
When it comes to endorsements, Bolt is absolutely killing it.
Usain has endorsement deals with brands like Gatorade, Nissan, Visa, Hublot, Virgin Media,
and Puma.
Out of 20 million dollars in earnings, 9 million dollars comes from Puma alone for him to wear
their brand of kicks.
Bolt also makes money through appearance fees and prize money, and we're talking a hefty
price tag.
Bolt charges 250 to 300K for a track meet appearance.
At the 2010 Penn Relay, nearly 55,000 fans came out to watch Usain run, smashing previous
track and field attendance records.
Between June 2017 and June 2018, Usain Bolt earned 31 million dollars.
Only 1 million of his income was from on-track earnings, the rest came from endorsements.
In addition to making bank with salary and those endorsements, Bolt is quite the savvy
businessman.
Usain is a co-founder in a Miami-based electric vehicle company called Bolt Mobility.
The company operates 5,000 scooters in several US cities and Paris, France.
In May 2019, Bolt launched a two-seater electric car called the B Nano that will eventually
have a starting price of just 999 dollars.
In March 2020, the company raised 30 million dollars in venture capital funding.
So it was only a matter of time that Usain's salary and earnings would lead him to some
pretty dope real estate.
Not too much is known about his Kingston, Jamaica home, but it does have 5 bedrooms
and 40 acres of property.
Not too shabby.
But that penthouse in Australia is an absolute stunner.
Hey guys, it's Kara the Vampire Slayer and today I'm bringing you another house tour
here on Famous Entertainment.
This time, looking at a few properties of the fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt.
The man has come a long way from his humble beginnings, with gorgeous homes in Australia
and Jamaica.

And let's get into this video.
Usain's long dash for the tape all started on a dusty street where goats wander loose
between ramshackle wood buildings in the rural backwater of Sherwood Continent in Jamaica.
And we're not talking about goats as in the greatest of all time, we're talking
about the fuzzy, real life animal goats.
The pastel painted single story home Usain used to live in is nestled in the Trelawney
Hills to the north of the island.
While the veranda and green backdrop may look like a nice place to visit, the town is very
poor.
In fact, Usain learned to become the fastest person in the world on a pothole track to
Waldensia Primary and All Age School.
Bolt's mother claims, Usain's three gold medals brought us running water.
Wow.
Just wow.
You'll have to see a success story from an athlete that came from such humble beginnings.
While not much is known about Usain's mansion in Kingston, Jamaica he was able to upgrade
to, some of the photos we managed to find are stunning.
The exterior is resort style living in its own as the area features cliffs you can swim
off and explore rock inlets and caves.
The area is a famous tourist destination for cliff jumping as it boasts a ton of majestic
volcanic cliffs.
Mr Bolt's home is a secluded 5 bedroom private residence surrounded by a whopping 40 acres
of landscaped lawns.
He's even gone on the record to say that the abundance of space gives him a little
free time with his whips which he's been known to collect.
In addition, the home features multiple fruit trees and a lush, untouched tropical forest.
Bolt's house is nestled on a hill overlooking Port Maria's beautiful blue harbour on the
island of Jamaica.
And the modern master suite is a thing of beauty that features stunning balcony access
overlooking the harbour.
Usain had recently renovated the home and included a few goodies like a new Jacuzzi
to chill out in and a heated swimming pool as he claimed the pool was a little too cold
before.
This pool features a massive deck and terrace surrounding it and comes complete with an
outdoor bar, barbeque area and entertainment system.
In addition, he apparently has an epic games room that features a colossal projector screen
where he can play video games or have a movie night.
The most recent addition to Usain's real estate portfolio is this stunning rooftop
penthouse in Brisbane, Australia as Bolt was attempting to kickstart his soccer career.
According to real estate records, this single-level penthouse was sold for a record $1.9 million
in August 2018.
The luxury penthouse unit boasts the most striking waterfront views and features outdoor
living space better than that found in most residential homes.
Styled to impress, the private penthouse features over 11,000 square feet of living space, expansive
living areas and superb finishes.
Other modern additions in his luxury space include a gated entry, a garage big enough
for 3 cars, private floor lift access for those too lazy to take the stairs.
His sleek modern kitchen features built-in top-of-the-line appliances, elegant marble
counters, and caesar stone benchtops perfect for cooking up a storm.
In addition, the kitchen features custom fixtures, an island perfectly centered, and a huge pantry
with even more space.
Bolt's penthouse features an abundance of dining and living areas that are decked out
with impressive furniture, more custom fixtures, oversized windows, and large retractable floor-to-ceiling
glass doors.
The transition of indoor and outdoor flow is a theme throughout Bolt's house.
The master bedroom features a large walk-in closet big enough to be another room in the
place, and another stunning private balcony and ensuite bathroom, which comes with a spa
bath.
In addition, his house features 3 additional generous-sized bedrooms, and one with an ensuite
and private balcony.
There's even a separate one-bedroom guest suite on an elevated level that features its
own bathroom, kitchenette, and dining living area.
This is likely for when Bolt's family or A-list friends come to stay.
Probably one of the most glamorous attractions for the interior of the home, it's definitely
the hotel-style main bathroom, which includes double vanity, high ceilings, and bathtub,
and boasts its own feature window.
In addition, his place features 3 extra bathrooms and a powder room where guests lucky enough
to visit can freshen up.
As stunning as the interior is, the exterior is also gorgeous.
We're talking about some dope amenities, including an outdoor lounging area decked
out with a private pool and heated outdoor spa, and elsewhere a bar, barbecue area and
entertainment system perfect for entertaining.
The exterior features a large rumpus room, while established trees and low-maintenance
gardens frame the building for privacy.
But what is a rumpus room?
Alright guys, so I think that's all I got for the homes of Usain Bolt.
Gotta say, the athlete has come a long way from how he started in Jamaica growing up,
and deserves all that lavish real estate he earned and more.
After checking out what we know about his mansion in Kingston, and the more recent penthouse
he purchased in Australia, what did you guys think?
Where would you rather live?
I can honestly say, I don't know since I've never been to either of those places yet,
but they sure do look gorgeous.
And in terms of the homes themselves, I think Mr. Bolt has some pretty good taste in property.
You guys can go ahead and tell me what you liked or didn't like about Usain's homes
