Julio Jones is best known as the star wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. Back in 2018, Jones went on a shopping spree and purchased a slew of Atlanta homes, and when I say shopping spree I mean he literally purchased three homes in one week. While it’s alleged that Jones promised his mother, Queen Marvin, that he would buy her both a house and a car if he ever made it to the NFL. This was in exchange for her allowing him to play football in the first place. I bet she’s glad they shook on that one We’ll take a look at Jones’ 2.3 million dollars 2 story penthouse, plus other properties he has purchased in the Atlanta area including a dashing mansion outside of Atlanta. If there’s one thing this superstar knows how to do is snag passes and real estate property.

Back in 2018 Julio went on a shopping spree and purchased a slew of Atlanta homes.
And when I say a shopping spree, I mean he literally.
Bet she's glad they shook on that one.
We'll take a look at Jones' $2.3 million 2 story penthouse plus other properties he's
purchased in the Atlanta area including a dashing mansion outside of Atlanta.
If there's one thing this superstar knows how to do, it's snag passes and real estate
property.

Jones was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons 6th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.
With the Falcons, Jones has been invited to 7 Pro Bowls, was a first team All-Pro selection
in 2015 and 2016 after leading the league in receiving yards and receptions.
Jones was also named 2nd team All-Pro 3 times in 2017, in 2018 after leading the league
in receiving yards and in 2019.
Since entering the league, Jones has amassed more receiving yards than any other player.
In 2018, Jones became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 career receiving
yards.
He is the all time reception leader for the Falcons and is receiving yards per game that
is the highest in NFL history.
Due to these accolades and accomplishments, Jones is regarded as the best wide receiver
of his generation and one of the greatest receivers of all time.
Also known as the GOAT, Julio Jones has a net worth of $50 million dollars.
In September 2019, his 3 year, $66 million dollar deal with the Atlanta Falcons made
him one of the highest paid athletes in the world.
The contract came with a $25 million signing bonus and was fully guaranteed.
It's the highest amount guaranteed ever given to a wide receiver.
Previous to this record breaking contract, Jones wasn't exactly hurting for cash.
In 2014, Julio signed a $71 million dollar contract in that gave the Falcons out of $71
million.
$47 million was guaranteed.
On top of this, between 2019 and June 2020, Julio earned $40 million dollars in salary
and endorsements.
This will explain the luxurious homes Jones owns in the Atlanta area.

Let's get into the video.
Julio's previous dig was located in Beaufort, Georgia, about 60 kilometers northeast of
Atlanta.
The mansion is estimated at around $1.5 million and features a whopping 11,000 square feet
with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
The listing describes the abode as a stunning architectural home, has incredible features
and high-end custom detail.
As you enter the impressive two-story foyer, it is decked out in coffered ceiling and gleaming
tile.
Just illuminates the luxury.
The palace also comes complete with a gourmet kitchen for those post-game meals and a cozy
keeping room.
Not to mention the pad comes with three dramatic fireplaces and quite the extensive Asteron
Main.
Other lavish features include a master bath with heated floors that would keep guests
warm and snug.
Not to mention the home comes with a beautiful office and amazing built-ins, and loads of
natural light in every room.
A few more extravagant added features are a meteor and rec room, but the best is yet
to come.
The huge bonus is a professionally landscaped yard, offers an incredible pool with waterfall,
tennis courts, and most importantly, absolute privacy.
Julio listed the home in July 2015 for $1.75 million.
He closed the sale two months later for $1.5 million.
As previously stated, back in 2018, numerous media outlets reported that Jones was doing
some serious real estate shopping in Atlanta, Georgia.
Within a span of a week, Jones has purchased not one, but three different homes within
the span of a week.
The first of his purchases was a completely renovated four bedroom ranch style home in
Atlanta for $500,000.
Literally 24 hours later, the NFL star grabs up yet another renovated home, this time in
Atlanta's Briarmore Manor for $555,000.
Now while both of these properties were purchased by Jones, they are believed to be meant for
relatives and not actually Jones himself.
This goes back to the deal that he cut with his mother that if she agreed to let him play
football, he would treat her to a little fancy home.
What a great guy.
I mean, you gotta stick to your part of the deal with mom.
After Jones made the previous two purchases, he then dished out $2.3 million for a two
story penthouse atop the glamorous Atlanta W building.
Jones' unit is the largest in the entire building, which boasts a three bedroom, three
and a half bathroom, and 4,100 square feet of pure luxury living space.
While the penthouse appears to be smaller than his previous mansion, it's more expensive
because this pad is in prime real estate.
Location, location, location.
The luxurious penthouse features hardwood flooring throughout the unit, and comes complete
with an electric fireplace.
The kitchen is decked out with all stainless steel kitchen appliances, and not to mention
amazing views of nearby Centennial Olympic Park.
The building is within walking distance of Mercedes Benz Stadium, which is the home stadium
of the Atlanta Falcons, and probably another reason Jones made the move.
To top it all off, the abode has more than enough luxury amenities to keep residents
happy, including 24 hour valet service, which should keep Jones happy with his car collections.
The building also comes with a gym, a heated swimming pool for those post game workouts,
and probably the coolest feature is a high rise helipad.
You know, for those days you just feel like taking the chopper to work.
After Jones had signed his record breaking contract with the Falcons, it was only a matter
of time he would make the upgrade to compliment it.
As mentioned before, the building comes with a 24 hour valet service, where Jones keeps
his sexy white Ferrari 458 Spyder, with the classic prancing stallion logo in red emblazoned
on the driver's side of the vehicle, as well as red rims to match.
It's believed this customized beauty could be worth as much as $270,000.
While Jones upgraded his homes, he has also dabbled into other business ventures.
Jones announced in January of 2018 that he would be launching Julio Jones Kia and Julio
Jones Mazda dealerships in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Though he's obviously not going to be at these dealerships all the time, Jones has
said that he would be checking in on those locations often.
So if it's always been your dream to be sold a car by a star NFL football player, now may
be your best chance.
Alright, so I think I'll bring this house tour to an end here.
We got to take a look at Julio Jones' home in downtown Atlanta, and that impressive penthouse
overlooking the Centennial Olympic Park.
Woo!
After seeing that fancy little house he snagged, what did you guys think?
Was it everything you expect out of the NFL's highest paid wide receiver?
Personally, if I had a penthouse like that, I'm throwing a few parties.
Personally.
Just me personally.
