Good morning everybody, happy vlogmas day 14. I am so excited because today I am taking photos for my trend forecasting group project where we're doing like a trends book. So I'm shooting photos for a couple different trends that we like forecasted or some trends that we're seeing for this fall or this season whatever. So I'm really really excited about it. So we decided to do three themes. One is animal print which is like a current trend and then the other one is bold relaxation which is going to be like elevated lounge wear and athleisure. And then the third is going to be muted which is all neutrals. So I'm shooting for bold relaxation which I'm wearing right now, I'll show you guys, and muted which is like a neutral outfit. So I'm so excited. I'm going to walk around downtown, take some cool photos for this like trend book that's basically our final project. So some of the other girls are shooting like the animal prints and all that stuff. So I'm really excited. So it's Monday morning, I'm feeling great. I was literally listening to this workflow playlist and I'm not even doing work right now. It's just like a good vibe. This is the first outfit. I just made a little TikTok if you guys want to go check it out basically. I just started with this simple black sweat set, added white sneakers, gold hoops, a claw clip, threw over top this brown puffer for contrast, and these black sunglasses and you are good to go. This is like the thing right now and I'm so excited and then I'm just preparing my next outfit as well and it's just going to be a really fun little morning and then I'm going to come back and Brooke and I are recording for Gals on the Go and then I'm going to work on my study guide for my textiles testing exam that I have on Wednesday. They came out so well. This was the second was wondering this was for our muted one. Just a fun little vibe. I am now heating up some pasta and I've just been like dreaming about it. About to dig in on this vodka pasta we made last night. Also I put on my Instagram story so if you guys aren't following my Instagram, I tried out my friend Julia Haven's little like fuller lips trick and I'm so into it. She said to use just like a natural lip liner, just kind of around your lips, blend it in a little bit and then just add lip balm, like a glossy lip balm. So I did the one of the lip liners from the Kylie Lip Kits and then the Laneige Lip Glowy Balm and I am really into it. So shout out Julia. Thanks. Okay, I am so hungry. So we are going to eat and check out Vlogmas and do all that stuff. Oh my gosh, you guys, here's one of the photos from today. This came out so cool. Guys, there is Christmas lo-fi beats. What? I also just attempted to post my first reel on Instagram. I kind of cheated and just posted a TikTok that I also just posted, but I just like did like an outfit layering thing. I don't know. I don't even know if I'm doing it right. Like, I don't even know how to like, I don't, I don't get it. I feel like a mother right now. I don't understand. There's also something else. Oh, and we also just submitted our retailing final, which means I'm done with that class. So the only, oh my God, and I just finished my trends class, obviously, because I just did that this morning. So now all I have to do is my textiles testing final on Wednesday, which is not ideal. So, yeah. Also, I'm really liking my hair today. Like the color. I'm like noticing, if you guys didn't know, I got like a root smudge on top and then just kept like two front blonde pieces and I think it, I'm liking it. I'm liking it. I'm in a mood. Sorry. I just feel like talking. And Delaney's in her room and she's being quiet. She's working. She's working in there. I'm working in here. It's just like, if I'm working in my room, then her and I can't talk at all. So sometimes I come out here because she's right there and that's our dynamic. Delaney, what are you about to do? I'm about to do a little bit more of this lip liner trick. This is the lip liner I'm using. The Kylie Jenner Candy K Lip Liner. And you literally just like outline your lips. She also suggested NYX Natural. That's the color of their lip liner. I'm kind of interested. And then kind of just like lightly blend it in with your lips and then I'm just taking this Laneige Glowy Lip Balm and adding it over top. And I feel like since you're not adding that color in the inner lip, it just definitely makes your lips look bigger and just natural. So yeah, I'm going to get the vibes right, going to light this Jasmine Ylang Ylang Candle. It smells so good. It puts me in a good mood. I'm listening to Lo-Fi Beats, of course. Today's episode is going to be a holiday themed everything episode. So we're going to obviously do the normal intro, like our current favorite tip of the week, biz of the week. And then we're going to talk about like Christmas traditions, things we're giving for Christmas and stuff like that. So I'm going to get set up. It was my kombucha before and now we're doing hand sanitizer. So we're going to do today's Vlogmas donation. Brooke and I just finished recording and I want to make sure I do this. So I either like to donate to an organization that means a lot to me or one of you guys. So I had a subscriber named Melissa reach out to me about Best Buddies and in specific her specific chapter at Illinois State University. So I'm going to be talking a little bit about that and then we're going to donate. So Best Buddies is an international organization that spreads inclusion. Their mission is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities to create friendships, find employment, and build leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is actually her second year of being part of Best Buddies and now she's actually the vice president. So that's really, really awesome. You should be so proud of yourself. So I'm going to be donating to her. Basically what they do is they, even though it's like COVID times and everything, they're still finding ways to interact with their buddies. So they've been having virtual events such as game nights, get to know yous. Their buddy pairs have also been doing an amazing job of interacting outside of the events with having their own Zoom or FaceTime calls. I think this is so sweet. So I'm actually going to donate now. Congratulations Melissa. What you're doing is impacting a lot of people and you should be really proud of yourself. So I'm going to donate now. And I mean, just everything else that came with it, I'm like, wow, thank you. I love their little slogan, feel as good as you did last night. That's so funny. And they sent me like this little hangover kit with just like anything you possibly need. Like instant coffee, lip balm, vitamin C, Tic Tacs, makeup wipes, this set of stickers that I'm definitely putting on my computer, a disposable camera, a recipe for a cranberry champagne cocktail. That sounds delicious. Liquid IV. I mean like, they like really went with the branding and I am so here for it. So take notes people. This is absolutely amazing. I almost wanted to get the, this is my hangover hoodie one, but like, I don't want to expose myself like that. So I went for this one and I'm so excited. Thank you guys. Okay. It is so comfortable and so soft on the inside and it's got this little like, it's kind of like a pill or like a hangover remedy in the front and it says feel as good as you did last night. Um, so I've just been snacking on some baby carrot, um, working on my study guide or worked on my study guide. I'm going to test out a testing class. Delaney and I want to film a Christmas TikTok because why not? So I'm really loving this lip liner vibe and I'm like almost out of that Kylie Jenner lip liner that I was using. I like, just really liked this idea. So I want to go to CVS really quick and see if they have this lip liner that Julia was talking about called, it's called natural cause they sell NYX at CVS. So I'm just curious. Um, and I just like really need to get out of the house honestly. I'm literally going to CVS for lip liner. Yes I am. I'm just waiting for Delaney to get ready cause we are going to record, like I said, a Christmas TikTok, like that dance, the dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah. It's beginning to look, I don't know, we just thought it'd be fun. And then we are going to dinner tonight. We're going to the high bar, which it's also a restaurant. We're having dinner there. It's like outside, it's on the roof. It's so beautiful and it'll be a fun little thing to do. So we're doing that tonight around 6 30, but now I'm realizing like the sun settings now, the sun is setting now, so we won't even see it, but it's all good. All right, let's go to CVS really quick cause why not? I also just realized that I ran out of my Maybelline instant age rewind concealer, which is what I like to use under my eyes. Do you guys ever like go to CVS, the drugstore or whatever, and you're like getting something else and you're like, I know there's something else I need and then you just forget. And then as soon as you get back home, you're like, that's what I needed. I'm trying to like think of those things. And I thought of the concealer. So, woo. All right, got what I needed from CVS. It's so beautiful right now. I'm going to run into a couple stores over here, Empire South. I want to see if they have any gifts for my mom, my brother or my mom's boyfriend because they have really good stuff and I want to get there before I go home for the holidays. Quick little CVS haul. I got socks. I always get my socks at CVS. It's like so random, but I just love them. They're soft. They're low cut. We love it. They didn't have the exact lip liner I was looking for, but I found this one in the color Dainty Days. It looks like a nice light pink color that's similar to my lip color. So I'm going to definitely try that out. And then I got more of the concealer. You guys, TikTok time. We're making an event out of this. It's literally going to be so average, but like got to do it, you know, for the holiday season. You guys love the Delaney content. We're going to do the Yule log in the background. I am sure cheated.
