Greedy, thank you very much.
We welcome everybody to South Philadelphia,
the 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks,
and many of the fans who are coming
into the Wells Fargo Center.
They want to see what Joel Embiid has up their sleeve
after a terrific performance last time out.
The other night, 15-point win.
They'll be wearing them again.
Giannis looking for the rookie boat champ.
High over Embiid, no.
Portis, terrific rebounder, puts it in.
The home team, you will hear it.
That's a good point.
Joel Embiid, a lot of his offense is from right there
at the free throw line, and he knocks down the first.
It has coincided with more paint touches for Joel Embiid.
Oh, nice move by Giannis with a flush.
Maxey defended by Carter,
and Embiid answers right back.
Match tonight, because you've seen that
with those who are trying to defend.
Embiid is, you tend to step off just a little bit,
and then he's able to.
Let me get to that mid-range.
So it is Tucker against Giannis,
but Embiid is picking up Giannis defensively as Maxey.
Or plus, exactly.
Bobby Portis, who is, you know,
such an integral part, Tucker,
when Giannis has those kind of handles,
and blocked by him.
Maxey on the other end scores.
From that level player, like Giannis.
That is the 10th block shot for Embiid
in the last two games.
Tied at 12, Giannis will try the three,
and he unties it.
All game.
Here's a steal by Carter.
Carter, the lob for Yadila went in.
His career are so happy with the success
he's having this year in Milwaukee,
as he passes to Beauchamp.
And Bobby Portis, right place, right.
The number one rebounding team,
and Philly is 29th.
So they gotta make sure they board it tonight.
11 straight points, and within five,
shorthanded 76ers tonight,
especially in the guard front,
as Portis connects on.
Maxey with a long three, and that one's true.
Blue, Allen against Stiebel.
We weren't sure if Matisse Stiebel
would be able to answer the bell today,
but he's on the floor.
An incredible job, and at times,
with different personnel on the floor.
And it's not gonna get any easier,
as George Nguyen scores.
If you've got him available, and he can play,
you'd think he would play him, so.
But a couple of three-pointers as well.
George Hill with a three.
Milwaukee comes indoors, their three-point numbers
haven't been great, as Maxey advantages Serge Ibaka,
comes up with it.
Beauchamp, boy, he shows some, really.
Who started four for four from distance,
have missed their last four.
Until that one right there.
Sixers tonight, Joel Embiid played 10 minutes
in the first quarter, had seven.
Milton floater's good.
This guy's been a problem, he hasn't done a good body.
George Nguyen, right at the three-point break line,
knocks it down.
Sporting events, I think the last one on his checklist
might be the MLS team, as Maxey sends it outside to Embiid.
And he connects there for Milwaukee.
Nguyen with a three.
We work with, a lot of the time,
P.J. Carlissimo always talks about those quick starts,
sometimes don't work out for you.
Carter against Nguyen, walled off.
Grayson Allen just needs a sliver.
Lopez misses, and the Bucs will get another 14 seconds.
Carter blocked from by Maxey, but right to Portis.
And Portis flips it up and in.
Lopez does an incredible job of contesting shots
without fouling.
Gets nice tutters.
One of the knocks, if you will, coming in,
and busted that so far tonight.
Maxey's been the guy for Philly.
He points here tonight.
Single-handedly keeping them in.
Good pass, that's a heck of an entry pass.
That's really, in the playoffs,
you've gotta have a stout defense,
and those two are gonna have to hold up.
Embiid against Brooke Lopez.
Scores over, air ball that time.
Two for one opportunity.
Nice job by Drew Holiday that time.
I was fortunate enough to call
the Kentucky double overtime game Tuesday
when Oscar Shebway fouled out in overtime.
But a lot of fun to watch.
Milton getting the second half start.
Tyrese Maxey out with a left ankle injury,
and Embiid's defied down as many as 13 points.
Bucs have struggled in the quarter,
and they went right.
Joel Embiid.
Get him in a good spot,
and they got him all the way out of the wing, doubled.
Now Embiid finds house underneath.
That was number five, slightly above his average.
Yeah, look at Javon Carter, like, pinching over his way.
Six to shoot in the possession.
Javon Carter from the elbow.
Connects.
You know, we didn't see the normal windup.
It was still not a basketball play,
but was it excessive?
No, it's...
Fievel nearly had the steal.
Had it socked with the link effect.
Portis from distance.
Hits for 10 tonight.
Now Embiid going after Lopez.
In the third.
Philly down two.
Niang, good look at a three.
It's been over eight minutes since Giannis has scored.
Niang likes that spot, right above the break.
The year has been kind of the odd man out
here in Philly this year.
Giannis been struggling,
trying to get physical, takes it in.
That was Giannis' first points in nine minutes,
playing with four fouls.
Flips it up.
It's been owned by the Sixers.
They were down seven at halftime.
They're up seven right now.
Mora gets two back for the Bucs.
Consistently come down for them
over the course of this game.
There's Giannis getting by Reid
for the fourth shot of the third quarter.
He said he's slowly ramping up a bit
after suffering a tendon strain
in his right foot two weeks ago.
An injury.
He said he's never felt anything like it before.
With the second team.
Kept that left foot down and scored.
Milton in house, your backcourt now
for Philadelphia and Milton.
He's had a good night.
Holiday after missing four games,
getting a limited minute.
Gets him into that mid-range.
Mora catch and shoot, hits.
How pretty was keeping his eyes on the rim
with Shaq Milton, closing out hard.
That gives Milwaukee the lead
and Philly takes it right back as a team.
Five to shoot in the possession.
Portis against Embiid.
Gets the roll.
Trying to play through Brooke on the blocks.
Give George credit defensively that last possession.
Yep, undersized.
Here's Embiid getting inside on Lopez.
Five minutes to go.
Neying and Whitney.
It's under five minutes to go.
Without James Harden and tonight lost Tyrese Maxey.
Wow.
Embiid, a little high.
Nice save by Milton who's wide open for three.
Philadelphia three-point lead in the ball.
Coming up on three minutes to play.
Embiid will pull up and hit.
He'll either kind of rock back and hit that 15-footer
or if he gets too close to him, he'll go by you.
There's a fade for Embiid.
Points, he's got six here in the fourth.
Dumps it off and there you go.
I say he'd have another assist before this night was over.
There it is.
Joel gonna go and let the Philly crowd,
he wants to hear from him.
76ers enjoying a nine-point lead with a minute 47 to go.
Do the Bucs have an offensive answer?
And it starts with Bobby Portis to go.
No James Harden.
They were down to three guards.
Tyrese Maxey limped off with an ankle injury
late in the half.
And this man, Joel Embiid.
Before the buzzer sounds.
I asked for leadership at one point.
When Melton went down,
this was gonna be about leadership.
Sometimes that's in your productivity.
That's sometimes how you comport yourself.
Joel Embiid played like a star.
Joel Embiid has now scored 133 points.
