Yeah, we're in downtown Los Angeles this evening. Final time this season. Lakers taking on the Sacramento Kings. Well, this is the sixth time we have seen the Kings this year. Two in the preseason, three previous regular season. LeBron starts the game off again with a bucket. How about his efficiency off the charts the last month or two? Here is De'Aaron Fox. He hits a 15-footer himself. Here we are in the first quarter, but he's one of the best clutch players. LeBron, you know that he's been great in the clutch. And from long distance, he swishes it through. Herder in the lane, scores. Here is Barnes, and it got right into the hands of LeBron the other way. Troy Brown Jr. rides it up and in in transition. LeBron with Herder in front of him. He loves the matchup, and he tries to force it. Once, twice, Brown scores. LeBron dumps it off. LeBron, just what you were talking about before, the unselfishness and the recognition of LeBron. LeBron, good first step, and this time with the left hand high off the window. Harrison Barnes, couple of big steps. Left hand comes up short. Good offensive rebound and slam by Rashawn Hall. Fox, little backup. That's a shot of his. And Pat Bev, no chance at that one. Rookie, Keegan Murray. Here he is firing. Make it another one. Keegan Murray. I've said it before many times. Underneath, Barnes is surrounded by a trio. He tried to put LeBron in the popcorn machine. Blocked by James. Trailer! James with the dunk! After defense to offense, they try to swap that one away from Fox, who is complaining that he didn't get the foul. Counts under to Winion. Turn, score. Quick turn, too, after the entry pass. To assist for Russ, but Mehtou emphatically with two hands. They average 120, more than anybody, and Russ slips around Mehtou and scores. Unset, fired, get! Yes, sir! Kendrick Nunn. Russ, mid-range jump shot. It's perfect. Oh, the scoop and the score by Russ on the break. Here's Mitchell. Kind of a goes. It goes. He'll get an and one. Kendrick Nunn doing a little dance over Mehtou. That is sweet. Slowing things up a bit. Five to shoot. Gonna have to get into his action. He's gonna let fly. Oh, and he banks it in! He banked it in! And he's smiling. Even he had to smile on that one. Split the defense as Fox. That's a beautiful shot up and over. Everyone's out there stretched on it. Malik Monk, that one went right by the ear of LeBron. Barnes threw it down. LeBron had no chance. Now LeBron going down the middle himself. Bullies his way in for a layup. James, got it! I mean, what can you say? Trae Lyles challenges LeBron and beats him with a backhand pass. Lakers have a man advantage here, though. Here are the Lakers. Russ with speed! Russ and speed go together. Here is Max Christie. Free throw line. Bryant, there's that flat shot. The usual results in a bucket. Shoots better against Sacramento than any other team in his career. That's a good soft touch by Lyles. And leaning in and getting the bucket is De'Aaron Fox. Fox steps in over Schroeder. Gotta get a bounce. Well, you've got to have a soft touch to make that birder. Straight away three. We have a one possession game. That's a tough one to handle for Wenya Gabriel, but he gets it from Russ and scores. Russ, eight, five, and four already. Fox is going to try it again. And again! It's a pinball machine for him, and he scores. Lakers led by as many as 14. The lead is two. Russ, change of pace, lays it in. Change of pace, change of direction. Right to the rim. Wide open in the corner. And the Sacramento Kings have the lead, 57-56. Count it and one for De'Aaron Fox. Now it's going to be Pat Bev, the fake, the pass. Christie, the fly by. On its way, down it goes! Nice shot right there. It's a good pass up to Rashawn Holmes. They're immediately in the attacking zone. Holmes goes in and throws it in. That was a really good pass by Herter. First possession belongs to Sacramento and Harrison Barnes. All good fake, and the up and under scoop around Thomas Bryant. Sold away! Defense offense, it's a three-on-one. Troy Brown, LeBron! Five-kick inside-out, and it's LeBron hitting mid-range. He'll be playing Memphis on Friday, seven o'clock. We'll have it for you here on Spectrum Sportsnet and the Spectrum Sportsnet app as it's knocked down by Thomas Bryant. Herter bounces to the left and hits. Just a pure shooter, Kevin Herter. Now to the right-hand side. Barnes got it! For the Lakers. Oh, so close to the sixth spot, believe it or not. Bev for three! To the post. Holmes, working with the size advantage. No chance for Pat Bev. Biggest lead of the game for the Kings. James, in there! Well, that just kind of settled in over the rim. Fox gets doubled up. They rush at him. Barnes, long distance. Harrison Barnes. Fox, down the middle he goes. Just steps back. Oh, so easy for De'Aaron Fox. Here's James. Turnaround shot is good. He talks about it all the time. Sometimes 30 isn't enough. I need to go for 40. Probably tonight again. Herter! Down it goes, down to the bottom of the well. Herter, just floating into the lane as he gets the short pass from Mitchell. Underneath, thrown down by Keegan Murray. Darvin said, pretty much pain-free. Because it's not totally pain-free, but that's the case. Murray, three. Going to be way long. Tapped. 50-50. Taken by the quickness of Max Chrissy. Here he goes again to the rim and scores! Well, they've got it under into single digits. Here is Nunn. You know, it's funny. I saw Bill Burt come at halftime and he said, you have an answer for all this scoring in the NBA. Handoff, not a Fox. Guarded by Juan Toscano Anderson. Loses him with the step back and he's got a bucket. Fox dips in, comes up. Good rebound by LeBron. Look at this outlet. J-T-A! Perfectly. Westbrook. In there! Yes, sir! That was an easy one. There you go. No defense there. Nunn. LeBron's still with it. Finds Russ. Going to force it up. Got it! Again! Two in a row for Russ. His first two threes and he was really up against it. Max! Fresh snow from the left side. LeBron with the basketball. They're trying to stop it. They can't. And then Metu rejects him. Out of bounds. The bounce. The cut. The dive. The score. Schroeder! 99-98. Fox. He had three players surrounding him and he scored. LeBron James. The bounce. Here comes J-T-A. All the way for a layup. LeBron does that little slip pass. Blocked by Herter. Now it's a three on two. Barnes with LeJ... LeBron was there once, twice. Score it! Boy, LeBron was there defensively. Russ is going to attack. And tried to get it to Winyongable. Got it back. Somehow scores! He had no room. And Herter gets a wide open look from three. And makes no mistake. Fox splits the defense. Here goes De'Aaron all the way to score. Wow! De'Aaron Fox. Kind of tweaked his ankle a bit. A little bit. LeBron going to attack the rim. All the way. Too strong. But the tap in by Gabriel. It was laying right on the rim. And it spun around and finally went down. LeBron all the way. LeBron put it up. And in! Could have a tie game here. We are tied at 108. And here we go. Barnes. Will he pull up? He goes up and under to score. What a move. And one. Three point game. And there's your timeout. LeBron. Won't get it. Rebound Holmes. That's the guy they should have fouled. If they're going to foul. De'Aaron Fox. Been one of the great clutch players this year in the league. And he's going to go to the line and shoot two. Ooh. Rebound JTA. So it's still two possessions as you said. Four point game. LeBron going to kick it over to Nunn. He leans in. Got it! Lakers still breathing. Got a foul. Up ahead for Sean Holmes. That's going to be a take. Oh wow. What an unfortunate end. But the Kings come out with the victory. And they beat the Lakers again. Lakers are now 20 and 25. They're 500 at home. By the bench where we would sit. Just outside the lighthouse. When you
