Hi everyone, so my husband is cooking dinner again. So let's ask chef Aiden what he's cooking tonight.
Oppa, what are you making today?
Today, I'm making Tteokbokki with cheese.
And?
And fried chicken.
Okay, so he's making Tteokbokki, which is a Korean dish. It's very popular. It's like a rice cake in like spicy sauce.
He's also making fried chicken potato roll.
So he's cutting up the onions. He's going to put the onions in the Tteokbokki.
So here's the round rice cake that I was telling you guys about, Tteokbokki Tteok.
And this is how it looks like, but it's frozen right now.
This is the fish cake.
So we put the fish cake also in our Tteokbokki.
So he's cutting it into small pieces.
Now he's cutting up some radish.
He's going to make soup base.
Now he's getting the rice cake, putting it in a bowl.
And then he's adding some water so that it can melt.
Now this is the hot pepper bean paste.
And this is what we use to make the sauce for our Tteokbokki.
Now he's cutting up red bell pepper.
And also a green one.
For the fried chicken potato roll, he is boiling one red potato.
Yay, our rice is done!
Gochujang.
And another spoon, so two spoons.
He added about three cups of water.
And then stir it.
So we're taking out the radish.
The main reason we put that was for the flavor.
He just put in the rice cake.
Oh, I think it's going to be spicy.
He says he thinks it's going to be really really spicy.
You have to keep stirring it so the rice cake doesn't stick onto the pan.
He just added another cup of water because he will be adding this ramyeon.
Put the chopstick through and see if it's done.
No.
No?
It's not ready.
He just put the fish cake.
He just added some more.
Oh, it's my favorite.
That's why he put a lot.
Some grinded garlic.
Okay, now we're going to add some corn syrup.
About that much?
One spoon.
A little bit of sugar.
And some sugar.
Secret recipe.
This is our favorite ramyeon.
Bell pepper.
He is now grilling the bell pepper.
That looks really good.
I'm going to stir it up.
He's cooking the noodles separately in this pot.
He's adding onion, rice, and then stirring it up.
And then we're going to add a little bit of the sauce from the ramyeon noodles.
I'm going to add a little bit more water.
And then stirring it up.
Okay, the noodles are done.
He's draining the water out.
And then he's putting the noodles in our hot soup.
So it is almost done now.
We're just stirring it in very low heat.
So this is bread crumbs.
And it's the Ottogi brand.
He cracked one egg and he's blending it.
He's like our Mr. Piggy.
He's adding some black pepper and salt.
He's like a blending machine.
Now he's blending the chicken breast to make it really really thin.
Try to make it as thin as possible.
But not to the point where it will rip.
Peeling the potato skin off.
Okay, now we are all ready to make our rolls.
So he's adding the potato onto the chicken breast.
He also put some black peppers on the chicken breast.
And then he's adding some bell peppers.
And then some mozzarella.
I love cheese.
You have to be careful with this part.
So he's just rolling it.
Closing the end.
Now he's dipping it in the egg.
And then in the bread crumbs.
And now it's ready to be fried.
Okay Chef Aiden, in my roll I want extra bell pepper and extra cheese.
Now we're going to deep fry our roll.
Until it's golden brown.
Okay, it's all done.
So he's taking it out.
Now he's cutting it into small pieces.
Mmm.
Now he's going to get the mozzarella.
And put some on top.
Then he's going to stick it in the microwave.
It looks so good.
So I like to dip my roll in ketchup.
And he likes his tonkatsu sauce.
Pork cutlet sauce.
And it's the Ottogi brand.
So yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
Maybe you guys could try this at home.
