Thailand's Best Dish Lives in Chiang Mai | A MUST Try!

It's spicy though Good morning from Chiang Mai we slept so well last night, and it feels amazing. I was like 75 75 It's a little hazy Sun is shining. It's a beautiful day. It feels so much better here than it does in Bangkok It's like less humid the humidity is so much. It feels amazing I was like first thing I said when we got out was like oh my gosh. It feels so good out here So what's the plan for today? So the plan is that we're gonna pretty much just like walk around get our bearings and then later in the evening We're gonna go see one of the biggest temples they have and it's really close to our hotel So I don't know how I booked such a great location But I did the ceilings here are Morning market Okay, so we just walked this little morning market, and it's like the temperature is amazing Everybody's really really nice. Everybody's out. Everybody's out and about just like buying fruit. It's pretty much like a fruit in like clothing market Yeah, yeah, so we bought some Jackfruit it was 20 baht and I got like So much At first I thought it was durian, and I thought it was like I was so excited So we've been trying we've been wanting to try it, but then she's like jackfruit. Okay. Well, that's fine It's juicy It's sweet, but not too sweet It kind of tastes like pineapple and a banana together I'm very serious about that And it looks like there's something like in the middle Like a sheet is it a seat hard job It's confirmed it's a seed that's squishy This is good though. Just like such a different vibe here. It's like very relaxing and like complete opposite of Bangkok I mean, I know we're in the tourist quarter We're like all the food tours are going on and people are like going to taste test things And we saw so many tours like food tours. Oh, yeah, like they're cooking class Yeah, you can find them online too, but it's just I have to do it while we're here Yeah, but it's just like so like relaxing and I mean the weather is the best it's been since we've been in Thailand So travelers problems looking for places to wash our clothes. What's the best price? What's the best machine? They have a lounge area So we read that at a lot of the temples around here that there's these really old buildings called Chedi's I don't know what one looks like exactly But we might have just passed one and also in certain temples they use a lot of teak wood Apparently there was a lot of teak wood that Europeans came here to find and they exported out So a lot of temples have teak wood used in them. We haven't seen any yet. We're going to yeah So we're getting a little hungry and we're on the hunt for Khao Soi, which is this northern Thailand dish that will tell you about in a minute We've been waiting for this moment for Khao Soi for such a long time We finally found one of the places that's like highly recommended And Khao Soi is like 45 We did it So I'm so excited because Khao Soi is like one of the three reasons we came to Shanghai It's like a northern Thailand specialty I get it every time I see it on the menu Which is not very often And it's just like everywhere here I'm so excited because this is like one of the popular places Khao Soi is pretty much like this Coconut curry based soup Egg noodles Mustard greens, pickled mustard greens Red onion and lime So let's see how it compares It's spicy though I've been missing sweets ever since we left And I just found the Mecca See when I say digital nomad I'm talking about people like this guy He's come from California Maybe he's from California Just skateboards around and works at home Happy Galentine's Day Best day of the year Southern food and Mexican food
