Karim Kharbouch, better known by his stage name French Montana, is a Moroccan-American rapper. Born and raised in Morocco, he immigrated to the United States with his family when he was 13. He has had a successful career as a rapper and his net worth and lifestyle are something to marvel at. Here's a tour of all his amazing properties.
From the looks of his Instagram, rapper French Montana has been spending his self isolation
in Miami Florida soaking up the sun.
Although he's in the sunshine state pretty often, his main residence is located in Hidden
Hills California.
Earlier this year, French listed his multi-million dollar mansion he bought from another celeb
some years back, but as far as I know it's still on the market.
In this video we'll be giving you all the details on where French calls home.
Kareem Karbouch, known to all of us by his stage name French Montana is a Moroccan American
rapper.
He's the founder of Coke Boys Records, and after years of releasing independent material,
he was signed as a joint venture record deal with Diddy's Bad Boy Records and Rick Ross'
Maybach music group in 2012.
Of course, French has also been longtime friends with Diddy, and was often known to stay at
Diddy's giant party mansion in Miami.
Despite all of the time the rapper spends down south, he hails from South Bronx New
York, and one of his previous mansions was located closer to home in New Jersey, but
he sold that one.
Of course, working in Hollywood, French also had to buy a place in none other than Hidden
Hills, and I'll tell you a little later which celebrity he bought that one off.
At the time of this recording, French is 35 years old, and has experienced quite the success
with his music career.
The song Unforgettable was swayly released in 2017, which was his first song as lead
artist to reach the top 10 on the billboard charts, and became somewhat of a summer anthem.
His current estimated net worth sits at about 16 million dollars, and French has come a
long way from his humble beginnings.
Moving to America from Morocco at the young age of 13, and then living in the Bronx, I
wonder if the rapper knew the life of luxury that would await him.
Hey guys, it's Karen, today we're doing another house tour here on Famous Entertainment.

the end.
I need you to let me know who to do next in those comments down below, and whose home
you'd like to see.
Now let's get into this video.
So like I said, by the looks of it, French is currently holed up in a Miami mansion.
Although I don't know if he owns or rents a home here, he's been posting a lot on
his Instagram the past couple months, such as him playing soccer and being on the water.
Some of his friends are staying with him so I'm sure they're having a great time
working and playing.
Although I don't know the details of the house, French's Miami pad is obviously
right on the water and has a grassy lawn and private pool.
He also posts a lot at the port of Miami and the group seems to go jet skiing pretty often.
Back in 2018 we got a glimpse of French's New Jersey mansion because he put it up on
the market.
Located in Palmton Plains, the rapper called this sizable property home for some time.
French purchased it around 2013 for under a million, 995K to be exact, and then listed
it for 1.4 million when it came time to sell.
Looking at photos of his previous home, it just shows you can get a lot more house for
a lower price in the suburbs of New York than Los Angeles.
French's New Jersey mansion was located just 25 miles from New York City, and the
18 room gated estate sat on a large 1.37 acre lot.
The home is simply huge, spanning 6,134 square feet with 6 beds and 6 baths, offering high
ceilings and lots of natural light inside.
Walking in the place you're greeted by a grand marble foyer leading to a living room
and matching kitchen.
The design inside French's previous home definitely looks like what his taste might
have been.
There's a lot of ornate detailing and gold accents, making some of the rooms, like the
formal dining area, slightly gaudy or over the top.
In other common rooms, such as one of the living rooms, we see the same design also
featuring hardwood floors, a chandelier, golden pillars, and a dramatic fireplace.
I don't know how else to describe the vibe in these rooms, but if you ever pass those
homes with the lion statues in the front, I feel like this is what they would look like
inside.
Some of the other rooms in French's New Jersey mansion are less flashy, such as the
bedrooms and bathrooms, which remain more neutral.
The spacious master suite here he used to occupy overlooks the property and includes
a marble ensuite bathroom and custom walk-in closet, not to mention a walkout balcony.
Other features of the rapper's previous home include a recording studio decked out
with red walls, and in the spacious kitchen there's a more casual eating area or breakfast
nook with built in TV and fireplace on the wall across from it.
He also had a theatre and bar on the 3rd floor of the home adjacent to the studio.
On the grounds outside, French had a manicured yard with pool and half basketball court.
There's also a separate guest house on his property with full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom,
and music studio.
After moving on from the New Jersey home, French set his sights closer to Hollywood.
In 2016, French bought the home he's been living in most recently from none other than
Selena Gomez for 3.3 million.
Selena was actually at a loss though since she paid slightly more for the place a few
years prior.
Anyways, this mansion is located in Hidden Hills, an exclusive celeb filled pocket of
Los Angeles.
More specifically, his Mediterranean style abode is located in the Murrow Estates community
sitting on over 3 acres of sprawling land.
Although French has lived in this place for a few years now, he has it on the market,
but this time for double the price at 6.6 million.
It makes sense though, considering the rapper invested some coin into remodeling the place,
including a guest house recording studio with over 400K, and doing more work on the interior
of the main house.
French's mansion spans 7,786 square feet of living space and has 5 beds and 6 baths.
Inside, he painted over Selena's old color scheme of purple and turquoise, and now it's
mostly neutral with black and gold accents throughout, and stone tile floors.
Walking into the customized home, you're greeted by a double height entryway with massive
sparkling chandelier, which leads to an airy, open concept sitting room with stone fireplace.
A long window-line hallway leads to the grand dining room, which is a central feature of
the home.
Here there's floor to ceiling windows, intricate chandeliers, and even enough room for a sitting
area at the far end.
French's chef's kitchen here is a large island, dual dishwashers, stone tile floors,
white cabinets, and a chandelier topped breakfast nook in a corner with surrounding windows.
There is also a full barn pantry.
The connected family room features another stone fireplace, there are 5 at the house
in total, and an entire wall of built in shelves and cabinets.
French's master suite located on the ground floor is expansive with separate seating area,
all cove that can act as an in-room vanity, sprawling walk-in closet, and double sided
fireplace.
His attached spa-like bathroom has a deep soaking tub, and oversized glass fronted steam
shower.
Other features inside his mansion include a home movie theatre on the second floor,
a gym, and an underground wine cellar.
Sliding glass doors throughout the main floor lead to the spacious backyard, where there's
a stunning outdoor courtyard, and multiple patios and lawn.
There's a full outdoor viking kitchen, a brick pizza oven, fire pit, and a dining cabana.
Not to mention the yard is complete with a pool and spa.
Let's not forget that French added that $400,000 recording studio as well to the one
bedroom one bathroom guest house on the property.
Finally, there's also an ivy covered elephant statue towering in the yard.
So now we've seen French Montana's properties, like his old mansion in New Jersey and where
he currently resides in Hidden Hills.
Since the current home is on the market, he does spend a lot of his time in Miami with
his friends, but I'm not sure if he owns a home there too.
What did you guys think about the rappers homes?
I definitely liked the decoration in his current home better than the last one.
The previous mansion was a little cheesy and over the top in some rooms.
But the LA home is decorated perfectly, looking super modern and elegant.
Ok guys now read out a couple comments from previous videos.
On our recent Migos house tour, Alison Parker wrote
I love their mamas house because it reminds me of home.
I love the place too and it looks big enough for the whole family.
Also on that video, Elaine's Kitchen said
For me, I don't look for the fanciest house, I just want it to feel homey.
Good presentation, Cara, as always.
Thanks so much Elaine, I appreciate it.
Alright guys, that's all I got on French Montana's homes.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens when he sells his Hidden Hills mansion
and if he buys something new.
What did you guys like or dislike about his properties over the years?
Tell me in the comments down below as well as what other celebrity houses you'd like
to see.
