in this sports venue This edition of the Promises League number 29 features the main players on the field And above all hoping they show their best version as we saw in the previous match right Where maximum equality as always in this magnificent championship This is the essence of the Promises League Of course we have moved beyond smiles beyond Fleki's joy Because of Seville's classification to the semifinals and because of the congestion and excitement they had Villarreal also to that of Atlético de Madrid Ready to cheer on their respective teams in this quarterfinal match that is about to start and has already started rolling A Villarreal that remains true to its philosophy of playing and keeping the ball Treating them well and creating as we see dangerous situations Watch out for the half-turn And we already have the first goal of the game Igor who doesn't forgive turns inside the box and fires a cross That's the first goal of the match Villarreal takes the lead In these semifinals against Atlético de Madrid Yes the goal is a result of various initiatives Especially the desire to attack the conviction and the act of moving the ball to the opponent's half and passing it to the forwards with an advantage And that's exactly what Villarreal is doing right now Lift your head to see if you can pass the ball It may have cost him that last action due to the final touch of approach that was too long And the center is forced Yes especially because we've already seen the first one Unai Tapia himself the attempt to change direction He's going to steal it from Igor Igor inside the area strikes with his left foot Hugo Calvo takes it On the verge of the play it ultimately ends up in that duel but Igor Benancio has it again He was about to score the second one Those mistakes are very costly especially against a forward of Igor Benancio's caliber even more so It's about having concentration not losing any balls being very serious in defense and the two mistakes they have had Villarreal is taking advantage of them Do not go body to body and be able to turn There we see that Igor is always a winner It's only by putting it in the body only with that power More stretched upwards and let's say 2-3-1 right For covering there in that situation And have two players near him Watch out for the rejection Atlético de Madrid has just tied as if it were nothing The details He was brave Aymar pressing that ball without lowering his arms and there Víctor Gómez tried to pass it to the other side He hit him in the face Aymar who surely has received the happiest slap in his entire life Yes especially in this case with the goalkeeper right They always have to go the opposite way from where the pressure is coming from And there we see how clever Aymar is huh He cuts from the other side to give him the single pass inside It's very interesting it's about pressing Villarreal to make few balls reach this man who is a danger when he gets involved there Watch out for the shot The ball is going out Igor Benancio has had it again he's once again pulled off a trick Receive it from behind put your body in he turns and there he had it again huh Yes yes there it is again well he's a winner as we can see right And someone is going to get it again right Yes especially the backward passes have to be very safe they have to be strong And they get to the goalkeeper in this case right Watch out for the shot Oh The Villarreal goalkeeper was phenomenal Because the shot went off course Villarreal well we What a beautiful tournament Above all because this tournament is amazing We are enjoying it a lot here Watch the ball in the box Oh what a shot The ball is bouncing down Making that classic shot from forever ago forward center cube pulled instinct but he responded very well To Jaime de Haro who couldn't take advantage of it A dangerous play by Atlético de Madrid Yes yes and a good header Villarreal has it He wants to counterattack There is a numerical advantage for the Atlético team Watch the individual play The strike The ball hits the post What a great play How well Alec Mínguez shot on that action The tackle especially with one leg And how he hits with his left hand huh On the opposite side fantastic huh And the one who will close this Saturday's session The Liga Promises these quarterfinals The two stars of Atlético de Madrid are back Cubo is ready The team captain steps onto the field Roji Blanco Also the goal scorer Aymar Cubo's action the rebound Victor Gomez takes it after Cubo's strong pressure And he really took it to school to serve the ball Calm down Saul on the marks right Regarding Igor Benancio He is performing better It signals the end of the contest It ends in a one-all draw Therefore we go to the penalty shootout to see who will be in the semifinals In this quarterfinal match between Atlético de Madrid and Villarreal Villarreal the town of Villarreal and in the team They remember how he did in the last penalty round That's right That is in the Europa League final There they need to focus on the reflection not miss a single one That's what they need to do at Villarreal Think about being in the next round Let's listen to what Atlético de Madrid's coach Dani Ortega has to say about this round Let's see it Well you have to have courage bravery and audacity to stand up for the maximum penalty to try to help your team at this moment It's so complicated and difficult to manage on an emotional level We see how it's receiving the support of its colleagues at this moment There we see Victor Gomez who will be the one responsible for Villarreal's performance under the posts In this round of penalties It's about to start I sense from what I see from what the image offers us The Atletico Madrid is about to start this round It's giving me the feeling Yes Felipe A man from Polan de Toledo A small village that is a bit far from Madrid that's why they tease him a lot in the dressing room but it's Juan who is in charge of opening The penalty shootout under the posts Victor the goalkeeper from Granada He is a good student and wants to stop the penalty There goes Juan González right leg the strike Goal Atletico Madrid takes the lead with this first penalty says Juan Gonzalez because the ball went past Victor Gomez's body There we see him I have the feeling I don't know if Felipe and Marc agree that they are two goalkeepers for penalties Yes yes Well Oblak is under the posts Landero the Málaga native is preparing There's the captain Landero with his left leg He launched it brilliantly glancing sideways at the opposing goalkeeper and passing the decision-making to him Very confident very confident For now one by one Here for now no one is failing Turn for Atlético de Madrid For the player with number 3 Unai the footballer from Torrejón de Ardoz Here comes the lefty Unai Tapia The left lane of the mattress frame Left leg left leg And the goal reached the Villarreal goalkeeper but not enough to deflect that good shot He hit it very confidently Fantastic isn't it There up there where it's hard very hard Look how well he threw it huh The ones from Atlético de Madrid Here goes Álvaro the captain of Villarreal The kid from Burriana Burriana must be thinking right now One of his neighbors is having an important moment in his life There goes the executioner right leg he struck and it went in Villarreal scores the second goal The match remains tied For now a full set of penalties in this one Who will be in the league semifinals Promises Well-taken penalties huh He is ready for the third penalty of Atlético Here it comes with his right foot Oh The priest Víctor He sensed the side and moved out perfectly With his left hand to block the strike And now Villarreal scores Yes he actually scores a bit but Víctor does it very well right It's a very good Here it is It's from Alicante and is called Alex There's the pass Alex has the ticket Right leg Well it's not going to work The penalty is missed The shootout is tied again Atlético de Madrid and the Villarreal fans He doesn't want to look What nerves he has Yes the quick turn Yere the canary was crying And when they told him he had stopped he smiled again There goes the captain of Atlético de Madrid The number nine jersey is prepared Cubo the Segovian Cubo runs with his right leg He barely gains speed Ah The penalty kick has failed Or rather I don't know in the end whether it's more of a success or a failure The great stars the great stars Obviously they didn't launch it well Obviously isn't it It hasn't been convincing especially of what Felipe says Players pass it many times Come on Left leg He takes the penalty which gives Villarreal a ticket to the semifinals He will have to wait for the next match To find out who they will face Barça and Betis Here we leave it but we'll be back in a minute to watch that exciting match that awaits us In the last quarter of the day We'll be back in a minute
