KLAY THOMPSON WAS ON FIRE - 12 THREES 🔥| February 6, 2023

From January on, they've been really good. They were 9-5 in January, they're 1-1 in February. That's the biggest thing, a team this young, you're not supposed to be good defensively. Clay Thompson, there's a Steve Kerr ATO after the timeout, well designed. The steal from Tim Roy, that was levitation sensation. Yeah, it was Clay Thompson that took two defenders with him and made the right play. Ramon with the steal. Kamenga on Giddey again. Inside out to Clay, sidestep three, got it! They actually shoot a much better percentage than OKC does when they drive. So, just gotta rely on that a little more. Warren's likely to shoot that three ball. It is Kavon Looney's 27th birthday. What I always ask people, how old Looney is, no one ever gets to 26. And now he's 27, happy birthday Kavon. Vincenzo attacking, dropped it back for Looney. An open pull. In the paint, because of this great pick and roll action. Look at where Jalen Williams had to come from to guard Jordan Poole. And then Wiggins. And Muscala really is the only veteran on the whole team. Clay Thompson, three! First quarter. Off of those drives. The Warriors have been awfully good in this building at 20 and 6. But, OKC, which is hotter, the Thunder or Clay Thompson, 7 of 8. Length to contest, but look at Clay Thompson working. This time, Wiggins locked and trailed. It still didn't work. Maybe the greatest ever to do it along with Bill King, right? You knew they were going to win that game 7. The whole momentum of the series had just shifted. Clay hiding behind Looney. And his name is Looney, so it works out. Yeah, that's shot clock and one. Love to get to the free throw line some more. The Warriors have been solid. Go ahead and repeat that second quarter defensively. Clay Thompson's got 30! Opens the second half with a three. 10 point lead for the first time tonight. Look at Clay Thompson on the weak side, here he comes. And they know that they can kind of overcome any mental hurdle. Bad things have happened in the past for them, and they're so mentally strong. And Clay is still making plays. But Clay Thompson's got Muscala on him, so he does the right thing. He drives it. He brings two defenders. Who takes his place? I wonder if Darren Fox gets a chance. He probably should. Clay Thompson's got 10 threes and 36 points. Steve's calling a sequence now. Let's run something. Clay Thompson.
