Houston Rockets vs. Miami Heat Full Game Highlights | Feb 10 | 2022-2023 NBA Season

The start of a back-to-back, first back-to-back in over a month for Miami, and Heat Nation, glad you're with us, and off we go on another Miami Heat adventure. Draws a double-team. Open three for Caleb Martin. Kaboom. Look how open those shots are. This is a terrible defense. Jalen Green, crossover, and sets up Martin Jr., and he knocks in a trip. That's K.J. Martin Jr., the son of former NBA forward Kenyon Martin. Game tied at three. Martin on a pitch. Hero on a toss. Kaboom. How about that? Beautiful ball movement, too. Gabe Vinson had a shot. He went from good to great there in terms of how open that was. That's 19-year-old rookie Joe. Three triples in his first year. He's been one of the league's better rookies. Caleb for three. Kaboom. Fakes the three. Gives it back to Tyler here. Nice pass. Bam, with a slam. And the Heat letting everybody touch it. All-burn tiger ever. The number three pick last summer. Oh, Green went skywalking. You will see him on All-Star Weekend in the slam dunk contest. Explosive off the dribble, and you see the athleticism around the rim there, twisting with that finish. Hero off glass. Two-plus tax. Goon against Martin. Going to bulldoze him into the paint. Bam, took it away. Another Heat steal. The third rocket's turnover, and Bam turns it into a three-point opportunity. Oh, the Heat using defense to ignite their offense. Second-year pro, originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Jabari Smith. I do not think he was intending to go glass. It was ridiculous, 26 feet straight away using it. From a dotted line, Bam signs again. Number 17, Eason's at an LSU. Shin Goon hits the jump hook. Alpi Shin Goon. Jabari Eason, the 6'8'' foe. Here's Jabari Smith Jr. with a triple. Oh, he's got three treads and 11 first-quarter points. He's had an outstanding year in the G League for the Sioux Falls Sky Force, and there you go, Mr. Puglie. Congratulations. The Rockets. And that's Eason who draws the foul and scores. Highsmith committed the foul. Three seconds left in the period. This is Eason, fires a three and drills it to give the Rockets a one-point lead after one quarter. Heat swag, it will make somebody happy, maybe even yourself. Second quarter begins with the Rockets ahead by three on the Jalen Green jump shot. Forty-eight percent shooting right now for the Rockets. Five of ten from three, too. They've got to clamp down defensively. Max Strews first score tonight. After seven straight missed triples, Strews got one, but the Rockets come right back. That was smashing. In the hands of Hero. Up three in transition. Kaboom. From upstairs. Oh, the pass by Hero deflected and stolen by Martin Jr. Drives in on Highsmith and scores. 39-36 Miami by three. Look out. Oh, the runway was cleared for the takeoff. He's a finalist for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Now, the official announcement will be in April. For this Houston team, they've been number one in that category over the last 15 games. Max Strews, his second three of the quarter. Thirty-five percent shooting. Thirty-seven, excuse me, percent shooting. The second half, the pace. Jalen Green with a burst and a flip. And Shengun hammered it back down. Ten points for the former Turkish League MVP. So strong and rugged after the contact. By the way, that Thunder game was the night that he made all 40 of their free throws. Oh, my, what a nice swinging hook for Jaishan Tate. Hero off one leg for two points. Beautiful timing there for Tyler. And the rebound, a hustle two by Green. Oh, Martin Jr., he can skywalk. He's got 13 points. Jabari Smith colliding with Martin. Basket counts, blocking foul on Caleb Martin. His third foul. Where he can stretch the floor out beyond the arc or even shoot that turnaround jump shot with that high-release point. Max Strews knocks in another three. He's got three of them in this quarter. Missing his third straight game with a sore knee. No timetable yet for his return. Oh, my. Jabari Smith Jr. with no resistance. Target tonight, three for 12. Here comes Butler. Tate is back. Butler finds Vincent. Open three. Kaboom. Puts it up, but missed. Tapped out by Jabari Smith. The cutter is Jabari Smith, and he scores. He's got 18 points. Butler cuts backdoor and missed, but got it back for a point-blank score. Six points for Jim. Butler, he sets up Bam, who gets denied right in the basket area by Jabari Smith. Smith showing flashes on both ends and finding K.J. Martin Jr. for a transition score. For the tip, it's 6.30 to get you ready with our heat-live pregame show brought to you by Xfinity. Jalen Green driving on Bam and scores. Heisman for Hero, almost out of bounds. Hero turns the other way and flips it in. A circus shot for Tyler Hero to get 20 points. He's got 3.22 left, third quarter, and the Heat has by five. Ty-Ty Washington and a foul. With his veteran leadership and his three-point shooting, if he does not want to be there. Oh, Hero with a slam and a foul. Tyler Hero going strong to the rack. It's a scramble. Daisha Nix for three. Oh, Nix. For 29. Loose ball steal Hero, here he comes. Comes left, gets by Highsmith. Robinson there, but Daisha Nix able to score. Struis against Garuba. Oh, hit the accelerator and score. Nice take. 18 points for Struis. Yeah, beautiful. Josh Christopher with a shot clock at three. Makes a three. That's his first score of the game. Vincent with six to shoot. Look out. Knocked away and stolen. This is Eason driving all the way into the gym. He's in the 2-3 zone here, chasing it up. Jabari Smith on top. He's got 20. Shot clock at eight. Ty Ty Washington. Oh, man. Very quick. He's got five points. Here comes Hero to the paint. Gives it off to Bam for the slam. 20 points for Bam. The Heat within. Martin has been rebounding. Oh, he lost the ball to Christopher. The chase is on. Christopher hammered it down. Josh Christopher. Left in the game, an open three. Hero, kaboom. First points of the fourth quarter for him. Rockets with the ball in the three-point lead. Trying to scramble defensively. Vincent, oh, got a hand on it. Ty Ty Washington scores. Ty Washington with four points. K.J. Martin out to Smith for three. Air ball. It's put in by J. Sean Tate. Only five points for him. Back to Green. Green to the paint. Loose ball. Struis has it. 28 seconds left. Vincent for three. Two plus free throws for the rookie. No fouls here. Ty Ty Washington ahead for Green. Green on the drive, goes in and scores. Ties the game at 95 with 7 tenths of a second left in the game. The speed of J. Sean Tate. Jabari Smith at 6'11". Defending the inbounds throwing. The lob for Butler. He did it.
