As we get ready for the opening tip-off, Jason Tatum and the Celtics looking for their fourth consecutive win. John Moran and the Grizzlies, their third straight win off the drag screen. Good pocket pass. Everybody got a touch, and Tilden finishes at the rim. We've seen the Grizzlies put the ball a little bit more in Desmond Baines' hands. Nice backdoor cut by Sam Hauser, something he does exceptionally well. Here's Brooks, got a look from downtown, and drills the three. It's been a scuffle for him offensively. Let's note how they're covering Tatum during the course of the game. They might want to keep an eye on Sam Hauser as well. Folks, simply put, he is on a heater. Brooks with a nice cut. Baines in a rush. Oh, man, Tatum. Tatum uses the Williams screen and fires. It's easy for Jason Tatum. Horford drives the closeout. Little jump hook is pure. Tilden lobs it up for Jackson Jr., had White on his back and laid it home. One more to the corner. Hauser, footer. Gomoran drives it, blocked by Tatum. Oh, he slapped that out of bound. We said it, this is a true two-way player. How about Desmond Baines digging out that matchup in the post? And that's how they want to play. This is a team that's going to run off makes or misses. Brooks all over Tatum. Boy, Tatum made a very high degree of difficulty shot. Baines weaving through traffic. Off glass, what a finish by Desmond Baines. White lost the handle. Brooks will pick it up. They've got a three-on-one. Flight 12 taking flight for the layup. Cross court, Grant Williams. Nice show and go. Good catch by Muscala. A long two is good. Speaking of added shooting goals. It's a tremendous ad because I think you can play him with either bid. Muscala with the three. Him at the trade deadline from OKC and Jones in the paint. Pritchard fires the three. And it's still a rated three for the Celtics. Back out top to Jones. Got a mismatch against Cornett. Off glass. Pritchard with a tough find. Grant Williams. Pritchard relocates. Good basketball. Celtics now plus 15 from the three-point line. The Grizzlies are plus 12 in the paint. They'll score on you and tell you about it. And they continue to go into the paint. Nice dive inside. And Clark rocks one. You saw the evolution of Bane right here with the ball at Summer League with his playmaking. That's where they used it kind of as a lab, as Conchar knocks down the long jump shot. Clark coming down Main Street. Got it off glass. Oh, a little bit of sauce by Brandon Clark. Grizzlies winning these non-Ja Morant minutes. But maybe not for long if Muscala continues to eat up. Clark with a great screen. A little pick and roll game worked out. The Grizzlies have started to put their fours in the action. They're trying to diversify that offensive arsenal as the Celtics get yet another three. And look at that. You get a stop and it turns. That's a big deal. Cross court to White for three. Got it. A little over four minutes to go. White popped that clutch. Tatum with the left. Celtics offense humming right now. 51% for the field. With a splash. A job with the float game. Soft. And Morant with another field goal. Just his second of the game. White lobs it up. Williams. He's flying charter. He can't putt, but he can make the 20-footer. Maybe I'll take him out to the concourse. No hustling anyone, Doris. You're a hustler. Skip pass to the corner. One more. White pulls. Three-footer. The Celtics with their 13th three-pointer. Well, Bain on cue. Cassidy knocks down the three. Tatum. Got all the way to the rim. Missed the layup. And Jha on the break. Takes it at Hauser. Sidestep. Classy, slick finish. Jha Morant. Oh, my goodness. White got into the paint and got the soft touch. Jha drives the closeout. He's tough to keep track of. You need a GPS to follow him sometimes. Jackson Jr., you and I just looked at each other after that spin through the legs behind the back. Oh, what a dime drop to Tillman. Looked off the defense for the slam. Tillman has a mismatch. Gave it up. And a good decision. Bain knocks down the runner. Bain a little bit strong. They'll get another chance. They got a five on four. Williams leaked out. And we are tied at 63. Desmond Bain with range. Domo with a block inside. Williams got the second one to go. Here's Hauser from deep. Got it. Good offense. Jha pulls up. Got the friendly, fortuitous bounce. White spins. Hauser, he's hot. Splash. Gotta love this matchup. They go boxes and elbows trying to load up. But Jha put it on a platter. An eight. Jha slams on the brakes. Got inside. Light work. And that's incredible. There you go again. Mascala got him worked. He got worked like a part-time job. Again. Moran cooking here. He's got 20. A little bit strong. Aldama. And it bounced out to Kennard. Quick hit ahead. Clark with a crash. And finish. Wow. What a dime drop by Jha. Here's Pritchard. Nice bounce pass inside. Williams with position. Great cut. Nice speed out to Brooks. Wide open. And he cans it. How are they defending Tatum here, Doris? Well, they start with a big physical guy who's trying to first prohibit catches and then really being physical at the point of attack. Mascala got open for the floater. Boy, Mike Mascala has been a seamless fit. Tatum with the floater. Skip pass. Kennard. Just the way they drew it up. Two seconds to go. And Memphis back to within a point. Pritchard had it blocked by Aldama. And that's the end of the first 36 minutes. Walks into a three. Jackson. Bank shot. He'll take it. Great kick out by Williams. Full discernment and decision-making by the big man there. Clear off the side for Jackson Jr. Spins to his right. That's a big-time move, Doris. See what I mean? Now John Morant is off the floor. White kicks it out to Pritchard. Open for three. Laces it. And the Celtics lead by one. Boy, what a leap. White on the drive. Draws a foul. Clark spins. Fires. Got it. Brandon Clark. Austin, a little Spain pick-and-roll action. Hauser converts it. Spain puts it on the deck. Got inside. And a classy finish by Desmond Bain. Pritchard tries to turn the corner. Well defended by Kennard. Boy, somebody hit the snooze button for Memphis and Grant Williams with an easy one. Boy, look at Brooks just top-locking and face-guarding Tatum. Made a catch. Sprays it out to White. Good decision. Joss sidesteps Robert Williams. And one. Flight 12 ready for takeoff. His finishing ability is ridiculous. Horford. Tatum kicks it out to Williams. One more. Horford. Great ball movement. And that is the 23-pointer again for boss Santi Aldama. He's an excellent standstill shooter. Good defense by Brooks. Tatum has to like this matchup. Whips it over to Horford. Two on the shot clock. He's got to get busy. That's busy. Morant got the roll. It was off balance. A little give and go. Aldama inside for Clark. Nice bounce pass. Five on the clock for White. This one is cooked, glazed, and sliced. Bain for three. Santi Aldama with the miss. And that will do it. The Celtics with seven players in double figures. And 21 made three-pointers. Mama's doing her best, but her job's got her feeling down. Daddy's got a business, but he's stuck inside a small town. Sister's got a boyfriend, and he keeps messing her around. I'm trying to pull it together, but it's stressing me out. They don't want to see us do well, drowning in the water. After wishing well, got a little close and we fell. At least we have a story to tell.
