room at the start Then I found my way I'll do it How many years have you been doing this now It will be 82-37 years now Maybe I would have been better off quitting then They keep asking me if I'm going to quit soon But why should I quit on someone like that There's something about the lifestyle that's great all year round This is my accusation they have bothered me a bit It was the box I had in 1998 So you didn't have a crash then Yes you can see all the nice veins here This foot is stiff I haven't gone there and that place is halfway there I've always been interested in the extreme Egocentric athletes That's been my thing Then I went up to LZM and jumped without anyone knowing It was like the start of a baseball game Did your first base jump come from Trollveggen Yes How old were you then I was about 20 then I was somewhere else at that time so I couldn't ask anyone about base jumping There was no base equipment either So I just used it in my regular falsom Not the most up-to-date equipment but there were no experiences The suction was so strong that it sucked into the wall So I left it as it was It wasn't exactly according to safety rules and such back then But it turned out okay I remember I was practicing on the kitchen floor I jumped up from a kitchen chair and down I was practicing on the exit For I knew that it's two different things to jump out of a flying plane Standing on the edge and jumping into the void So I thought about both ball principles She keeps blowing the red whistle all the time So I wanted the focus on my stomach It went pretty well actually I didn't crash and the exit went smoothly I just looked straight ahead He slid down the wall and staggered a bit from the screen Just to the right now The screen turned on and pointed straight ahead And it went well So I was actually satisfied with that And then I was smart enough to wait until my own equipment arrived And so back to spring and I've found my way again I have a list a security list So I use it at work and it works So I repeat it every time Same every day 20-30 years later It's something to think about If it's a situation that arises I don't have to think For you can't It goes fast It's easy for things to go wrong And then you need to know what went wrong And then you need to act on it right away And it has found its way so far I have done something right I've thrown away over 150 suits over the years It's just that many don't understand why in hell I'm still going But that's just what I told you earlier This gear is just a lifestyle It makes me so much in life itself Plus I trust my equipment I trust myself 100% So for me I don't see this as a death sentence It's clear that respecting everything is more dangerous But I do it for everything I can to be worth surviving But I do understand that people who are not like me or like us sometimes look at us kind of strangely What the hell why are you jumping out of a flying plane And hell you're jumping off a ledge like that So I have respect for that But they have to try to understand us too We are not suicide candidates We are genuinely interested and full of life To reset yourself When you stand on the edges you reset everything There is nothing else in the entire world that interferes with it It's you and what's happening there No matter what problems you have at home or at work Or what it is It doesn't exist in your mind then You might be able to escape a bit from reality and manage that If there's anything I'm really into it's something really cool This was cool This was really cool This was really cool I might have been a fly on the wall for three days No problem just cozy This was super fun If someone were to switch with this What would you then naturally start with To skydive
