(Seria A 2022/2023): Highlights Empoli - Spezia

Kambiaghi did well and now the opportunity straight into the gloves. Baldanzi, swung in well, just off the line by Parisi, clearly left his hand out. Fabiano Parisi is red carded in the 21st minute. It's a penalty to Spezia. It's another penalty. Daniele Verde, his first goal of the season and Spezia take the lead. Medi Borrabia chips it into Shumuradov. This is Verde, there's space here. Verde! Only needed one attempt at that from distance. A simply astounding strike from Daniele Verde. Players down, Esposito back on his feet. And sent from the field. And what a save from Drangovski. The dipping header, Francesco Caputo. This is where he can be so dangerous and it's the defend on Mion through the middle. Glorious chance to finish the match. Caputo wins it back, Piccoli waits. And then the reaction, Kambiaghi! Empoli been pushing the whole second half. They haven't let their heads dropped. Now, are they going to get the killer blow as Shumuradov goes alone? And Shumuradov nearly opens his account. Kambiaghi's cross. Satriano tried to pull the trigger and then the driven attempt. Pignato! On his debut. Levels in the 94th minute to send the Castellani wild. A magnificent fight back by the Azzurri. Empoli 2, Spezia 2.
