HIGHLIGHTS | LEEDS UNITED 0-2 MANCHESTER UNITED

It's seconds out, round two, as Leeds United meet Manchester United for the second time in the space of four days. And after the 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Wednesday, there's renewed optimism around Ellen Road that today could yet bring another positive outcome. Ball towards the far side of the penalty area, Werber's challenging, he's whipped the ball in towards the near post! De Gea's made a mess of it! Just over the top it goes from Somerville. Robben Kopp looking for the run off Somerville, in behind Molassi, it's dropped for Somerville, into the penalty area, De Gea saves! Somerville's still there, goes down, and the ball is cleared away to this near-side touchline. Oh, Werber's giving it away to Fernandes, who's got a clear run on goal for Manchester United. Bruno Fernandes, Milly makes a save! And what a save it is! Weston McKennie has it, plays it through the middle, Somerville stretches and controls. Somerville, from the penalty area, shoots low and hard, and De Gea drops to his left-hand side and pushes the ball behind. It's delivered towards the edge of the box to Fred, Neeth, come across to Dalot, Dalot with a shot! It's a crossbar. Werber to Nonto. Neeth still in that Manchester United half, Nonto goes down under two challenges, nothing given, Somerville, it's loose in the penalty area, Somerville, De Gea's saved with a foot! And it was Somerville who suddenly burst into the box there, and De Gea kept his shot out. Somerville's come to close him down, played into the middle, Rashford has found space in the penalty area, and Marcus Rashford, as he did on Wednesday night, has scored a headed goal for Manchester United. Into the penalty area, this is a chance for two, and he's scored, and that will wrap it up for Manchester United surely here. Right-foot ball towards the near side of the box, Nonto, and he's volleyed that straight into the back of Aylin, comes for Aronson, curls it in goalwards, and it comes off the chest right in front of goal for Vedkos then. As the final whistle signals, what was promising to be a memorable day for Leeds United, up until the 80th minute pretty much, and Marcus Rashford's goal, because before that point Leeds were on top, and it was David De Gea on the occasion of his 400th Premier League appearance who was much the busier of the two goalkeepers. Leeds created chances, had good moments, near misses but just couldn't get a goal, and then Rashford popped up and broke Leeds' hearts. And that second one, just after that from Gannaccio, confirmed where the points were heading. So ultimately what promised to be a really good day for Leeds has turned into a disappointing day for Leeds. Full-time scoreline, it's finished. Leeds United 0-2 Manchester United.
