This is our camper van.
It's a Toyota Lite Ace, Premier 1.8, year 1995.
This is the routine of how we set up camp whenever we arrive at a location.
And this is Miss Ruby Lau, the owner of Ruby's Resort in Tratin, Kuantan.
It takes about an hour to get everything set up.
This is our awning.
That's our garden set.
This is the full view of our setup.
This is my office and this is where we store our clothes.
These are the reflectix that we use when we are parked.
We cover each window with one of these to keep the heat out.
Good morning and welcome back to 24-Hour Traveler's Channel.
This morning we woke up at 7.
It's now about 7.30.
I woke up to the sounds of a bull pulling out the tarp over here.
He wrapped himself around the tree three times.
So I had to get down and let him go.
Usually in the morning what happens is Renee starts the fire again and the dogs go and
do their business.
And then we go and pick up their business and then restart our day.
And this is our kitchen.
This is where we store our coffee, tea, sugar, some cups.
This is our flow of water.
We have a water tank below the kitchen.
And we're able to make simple things like coffee, simple cooking.
This is our single burner stove.
And a good tip is to have a wind blocker when using a stove in a windy area.
So our kitchen actually folds down and it converts to a tabletop or even a bed.
I'll show you how in a minute.
We got these from IKEA for less than 10 ringgit.
Our table folds over and we have an extension that adds on here.
This makes it about 5.5 feet.
We intend on putting a mattress here so that we can actually sleep in this area when we
have to stealth camp.
The tables fold back into an office and that's the space when it's all folded in.
We used a sticker material onto reflectix for the front of our cabin and we have a storage
box here.
When we're traveling I put a lot of food and water in here.
That makes it easy for us to access food and water.
Now I'll take you to the back of the setup.
This is our roof tent.
It can sleep up to three people.
That's just two of us.
More than ample space.
There's four windows with mosquito netting and it's very cool up top, especially when
you park under a tree.
At night we don't really need a fan or anything like that, we're very cold.
So this is our little changing room.
Very useful.
And that's it.
A simple van tour.
