S1 E3 Vanbuild & Road Trip

Hi and welcome to our channel. I am Sam and I am one of the 24-hour traveler members. My husband is Rene. He's not here right now. He's gone to add spotlights to our van so that we can travel at night and see the roads clearly. To date we've bought ourselves a Toyota Lite Ace. We have turned it into our camper van. We are still in the midst of selling our house and everything we own in order to downsize to a van. In order to get things going we thought we'll have a small budget in order to buy a small van so that we can start traveling. That's the whole idea. We want to start traveling. We have two dogs, two cats and they will eventually come with us. We've got two dogs that will come with us initially until we actually learn how to travel with more animals. We have three videos up at the moment. One is the build we did for woodwork and the second one is a start of how we got a van and how we stripped it and what we did to soundproof it, to insulate it and so on You can check that out here. We decided to do our first trip at our friend's resort basically because it's by the beach and it's pet friendly. We were able to take the dogs with us and get them accustomed to being in a van and just monitor them and see what they're like as travelers. They actually behave better than they do at home.
