建议收藏!(可能是)最详细的盆栽月季教程 一次讲清楚如何配土 如何选花盆 苗不正如何处理 嫁接点的位置 如何浇透水Growing Roses In Containers丨5DC
Today, I share how to potted a rose, including how to mix soil, how to choose pots, how to deal with the received rose seedlings if they are crooked, whether the grafting point should be buried in the soil or leaked outside, how to pour water after changing pots, etc. They are all dry goods. Take my rose as an example. This is a new one received by a husband and a woman last autumn. After receiving it, the root system was dissatisfied, and it
When I changed the basin, it was not too hot. The rose was just about to sprout and had not yet sprouted, so I pruned it before changing the basin and pulled out the old leaves by the way. Now the rose received this season is basically in a state of luxuriant branches and leaves, so don't pull out the leaves.
The young seedlings can cut the buds and the blooming flowers. If you don't have the heart to cut them or you buy more than a gallon of seedlings, you can look at the flowers first and cut them after the flowering period is over. The advantage of cutting is that saving nutrition is good for growth, not cutting is good for looking at the flowers. It's right to cut or not, depending on everyone's choice.
How to prune unsprouted maple rose has been shared before, and will not be repeated today. The principle is to determine a uniform height, cut the branches above the bud point into about a horizontal plane, remove the weak and retain the strong, and reduce the crossing and interference of branches. The only thing to note is that most of the rose in Yifu series does not grow very fast, so don't cut it too hard. Generally, we cut half of the rose in
I cut it lightly, only about one third.
There are two points to pay attention to when choosing flowerpots. One is the material and the other is the size of the flowerpot. First, let's talk about the material. At present, the flowerpots that are relatively easy to buy include various plastic pots, pottery pots and porcelain pots. First, let's talk about porcelain pots. Porcelain pots are flowerpots with the right side. On the surface, people are bright and shining. Green plants in various office
The disadvantage is that there are too few drainage outlets under the bottom of the basin, usually one to two, and they are surrounded by the right side, which is completely airtight. Therefore, unless you have certain planting experience, it is very, very difficult to directly plant rose in porcelain pots.
But in fact, I have one or two rose trees planted in porcelain pots, which grow very well, but this requires a lot of prerequisites, and more extra work needs to be done in advance. I'll share with you about how to plant rose trees in porcelain pots later.
Another option is plastic pots. In fact, if you look around the flower pots alone, most plastic pots are not essentially different from porcelain pots and are not breathable. However, the advantage of plastic pots is that they can open many holes under the flower pots, and some even open around them.
Some of the plastic pots produced in the past two years have holes at the bottom. If you look carefully, they are as dense as a sieve. This is much better than porcelain pots. Although they are still airtight around, they are transparent from top to bottom.
Generally speaking, the more openings under the plastic basin, the more breathable and the better the drainage, including but not limited to improved gallon basins, green hill basins and other plastic basins are very good choices.
I usually use a lot of green hill pots, and there is no problem in planting rose hydrangeas and iron wire curtains. Japanese-originated green hill pots actually have no essential difference in function compared with domestic imitation green hill pots, but the quality is much better, not easy to fade, not easy to break in the wind and sun, and better durability.
Because there is a reliable gossip that many of the raw materials of Japanese-made Aoyama basins come from car bumpers. If you think about a car that has been driving on the road for ten years, you have never seen a car that breaks when driving a bumper.
However, plastic pots also have disadvantages. Plastic is plastic, which does not look as good as Deng's. Moreover, plastic pots cannot be heated due to exposure to the environment in summer, and hot seasons are unfavorable to root development.
Another choice is pottery basin, note that the pottery basin mentioned here is not a porcelain basin, pottery basin is burned with clay, without glaze, so there is a certain degree of air permeability around it.
Pots generally include red pottery and white pottery, as well as some handmade pots. Red pottery pots have the best air permeability and 360 - degree air permeability without dead corners. In fact, red pottery pots are a bit similar to purple clay pots for drinking tea.
It is so breathable that one of its disadvantages is that it is too breathable, so the basin soil dries very quickly and watering will be tiring
In addition, it is also because it is too breathable. After watering for a long time, the surface of the flowerpot will ooze water and alkali. Moss may grow when used outdoors, but I think moss actually looks good.
In order to prevent anti-aqueous alkali, white pottery will have a layer of coating on the surface, so its air permeability is slightly poor
In addition to being relatively good-looking, pottery pots are not easy to bask in in summer. The official propaganda is that no matter how hot the outside is, the pot will not be too hot. I think it is a little too much. It will definitely work, but I don't think it is so weird.
One of the disadvantages of pottery pots is that they are relatively heavy and love to be broken.
Gardening programs usually use the fragments of pottery pots as drainage layers, or block them at the mouth of the pots to prevent soil leakage. Think about where so many fragments came from. It must be vegetables.
Plants change pots. Generally, new pots only need two to three fingers larger than the radius of the original pot.
Unless you are very skilled, don't change the seedlings into a very large flowerpot.
The number of roots and leaves of seedlings is not large, and transpiration is limited, so if you use a particularly large flowerpot to water it once
The basin soil will be in a humid state of excess moisture for a long time and cannot achieve dry-wet cycle.
People can turn on dehumidifiers during plum rains, but plants can't speak, so they can only die for you to see.
Almost any potted plant can hardly grow well directly from the loess clay in the yard or in the park.
Of course, if your former homeowner also loved gardening, he improved the soil in the yard.
Every year, all kinds of hat pools and organic fertilizers are laid at any cost, so you are so cool that you can plant them by digging some soil casually.
However, no matter how good the soil in the yard is, it may also contain eggs and germs, so we should use it carefully.
What we call potted soil is actually more suitable for accumulation.
The more accumulated system is generally based on peat or coconut bran, and the particles with more drainage can basically be used.
The advantage of peat is that it is easy to use, pH is relatively stable, and water retention and air permeability are better.
And after pouring water several times, the peat fibers on the surface of the basin soil will be entangled to form a whole.
In the future, it is not easy to disperse the soil every time it is watered again.
But in some countries, such as the UK, peat is gradually becoming unusable.
Most European and North American peat is readily available
And as far as I know, peat in North America is really not expensive.
Another common build-up material is coconut bran.
However, coconut bran is troublesome to use and needs to be soaked before use.
Some coconut chaff may contain a lot of salt powder. If it is not washed clean and used directly, it is likely to flood the plants as pickles.
Therefore, if you use coconut chaff, you must rinse it repeatedly before using it.
Or directly choose reliable delay liquid brick
I usually choose peat as the main product.
The original peat is strongly acidic and is usually adjusted to different pH values for different plants.
Cross-border selection of pH-neutral peat will do.
Peat is divided into different models according to the length of the fiber.
Cross-border selection of peat with medium to long fiber length
The length of peat I usually use is 5 to 20 mm.
This length species cross the border, hydrangea, wire curtain is not too big a problem
Growing herbs can also be strong
Of course, longer fibers are conducive to better air permeability and better for crossing borders.
I usually only use this length of peat
And most plants are commonly used, not because it is the best, but because I am lazy.
Generally speaking, I'll start with a large bag of general-purpose products.
Before planting, increase fertilizer and granules according to the degree of demand for fertilizer and drainage permeability of different plants.
The general product ratio is generally 6 parts peat with 3 parts pearl salt
Mix it evenly and you can basically use it.
If you really don't like white pearl salt
Can be replaced by other particles, such as bluestone, green zeolite and so on can be
In addition to peat, I think I have added some pine forest to my cross-border primitive accumulation.
So I also grabbed a little pine forest and put it in the plot.
Because I always feel that the feeling of going home is always more comfortable than the strange environment.
In addition to this, on the basis of the universal product system.
I use organic fertilizer for potted plants to cross the border.
But the premise is that organic fertilizer must be fermented
And it is used when changing pots in spring and autumn.
It is not recommended to use organic fertilizer in summer.
The general use of organic fertilizer for potted plants should not exceed one tenth of the total amount of potted soil.
Otherwise, even well-fermented organic fertilizer may have the risk of burning seedlings.
Different varieties of different plants for fertilizer tolerance are not the same
I used it this time, which is about 5%
Can be said to be very restrained
We walk in the Jianghu by a steady word.
The part of the fertilizer shortage is replaced by slow fertilizer.
Mix all these things together and you can plant them.
Drag the basin across the border to see the root system.
This cross-border root system is good
There are a lot of white roots
But the roots are not fully grown
Plants are especially full if the root system is not completely long.
Then the root system will not move at all when you change the basin.
No need for root thinning
And don't tickle people with shovels.
People don't itch at all.
Put some mechanism in the basin
Compare the approximate height
Put the plants directly in.
I this cross the line where all good
It just looks a little crooked.
In professional terms, it's just a little bit biased.
From this point of view is more obvious
For plants
Whether it is extruded during transportation.
Or is it that the seedlings themselves are not planted correctly?
Don't force the straight
Because it's likely that in the middle of your hard work
Just break it.
All we need to do is adjust when transplanting.
Just make sure that the part of the branch above the root system is positive.
As for the root system underneath
It doesn't matter whether the soil including the round basin is positive or not.
After filling the soil, the root system will continue to grow
Partial plants also adjusted.
Crossover
It is usually grafted with strong microroots with wilder roots.
What grows above the grafting point is the variety we want.
The part of the round drum is the grafting point.
Although the strong micro root in the process of grafting
The growth point has been removed
But in fact, there is still a small probability
Grow strong branches again
If the grafting point is buried in the soil during the planting process
It's hard to judge later.
Is the grafted real wood sprouting
For example, I have a very good friend
He is very efficient in everything he does.
One of his crossed the line and buried the graft site in the soil.
As a result, a damaged bud grew in one day.
He asked me if I wanted to give it
I wasn't particularly sure
When I ask him to put the soil on the grafting point
When it's a little more open
He's already pulled out the line.
Although replanting does not affect life and death
But who likes to move all the time?
So the best way is to expose the grafting point outside the soil.
In case any naive wood sprouts
It can be seen at a glance
In addition to fully accept the light
It is beneficial for more damaged buds to grow at the grafting point.
After planting, it needs to be watered thoroughly.
This water is called root water by many people.
new mechanism
especially the peat-based mechanism
Often the first watering is difficult to fully pour
This is just like our new clothes
It's not easy to get wet in the water.
Once it's wet, soak it in water.
Wet is very fast.
The best way to water is after the first watering
Pour again every 5 to 10 minutes
It can be clearly seen when pouring the second time.
As the water falls
Bubbles will be pressed out on the surface of the shotcrete.
Water until the bottom hole of the flowerpot
There's a lot of water coming out
The flowerpot is noticeably heavier
It means that the water is drenched.
Finally, change the basin of rose
Put in the best position in the sun
Changing the basin is over.
So much to share with you today.
Thank you all
