Club Brugge 0-2 Benfica : Complete UCL Round of 16 analysis and reaction| UCL on CBS Sports

We want to talk about Bruges-Benfica. Let's talk about this one. So, penalty incident, first of all, is the first thing we're going to show you because the first goal came for Benfica from the penalty. Yeah, Thierry is watching this one. Well, what were you watching, Micah, out of interest? No, it was a penalty. It's a tough one. It's always the one where the defender doesn't see the striker arriving and then Gonzalo Ramos gets the ball before and then Andriy cannot see him. It's a penalty. There's nothing to say. So, let's take a look at the penalty that was taken then to make it 1-0. Yeah, I mean, the goalkeeper, Mignolet, actually gets something on it but because of the stuttered runner, he may even just be off his line anyway. So, he's disappointed. He never saved it. Yeah, you see that. It'll have to be retaken again but it goes in and then, you know, it was always going to be difficult for Bruges on tonight. As soon as Benfica go in front, you feel as if it's game over and tie over really and then they go on and get the second goal. It's shocking. They saw it, did you? From Bruges? Of course. I'm across everything. Don't worry about big meeks. I said the second goal from a Bruges point of view is shocking. Towards the end of the game, you're twinkling on the ball here. Just take it away. We're on 87th minute and it's a lovely finish from him. But just kick the ball away. Give yourself a chance for the return leg and it's probably game over now. All hopes gone. From a Bruges point of view, it's shocking. You're better than that.
