Croatia vs Spain 3-5 Highlights & Goals - Round of 16 | Euro 2021

Slow burners in this tournament both Croatia and Spain hit their stride in their final group games whose momentum will be stifled in the heat of Coaleta Star starts in place of the suspended Dejan Lovren. Here we go then underway in this last World Cup in 2018 when they reach the final or as Luis Enrique puts it the bottomless game. To shore things up they know they've been there situation cross comes in that's a good leap and it's just behind Koke and Russia on a penalty shootout. Well there you go the chance is there Ferran Torres is Koke and it's nodded on and Ferran Torres attempted flick doesn't come off and that looks like a pretty rash challenge there you see it was a six nil win for Spain Croatia's heavy skies pass Murata forced a bit wide who can you do this for so you can only keep quality out for so long then yeah foul on Busquets that's a fine pass for Koke didn't make the keeper work enough but a really good Spanish move they try and shut him down now Ferran Torres that's a good ball shot out they should be oh oh my word what a terrible mistake and Croatia have been handed a in the most remarkable of circumstances too much on that for Brozovic and this is where we need to see who Spain put to the sword crumb yes they can the Spanish they've proved that already they've got it outside the right boot with that pass I think he's offside chance for Nikola Vlasic is Kovacic just over the bar hard it's a good ball in behind Busquets yeah there's there's there's no place to hide I'm afraid on the right hand side to help out Rebic Koke go feed umbers in support it's cool under pressure Croatian to score at a European Championships or shooting opportunity here it's Hill alive and the strike from Gaia and Saravia on the spot to equalize for Spain two in two for Pablo Saravia it's what they needed that is what the Spanish needed they've been knocking on the door for the whole of this first half they've created some right away having conceded Petkovic it's a lovely ball Saravia it's Koke, Uranovic delivers here is Morata trying to pick a pitch that's a pretty good one too and that is excellent Morata at half time is Croatia one Spain one underway in the second half in Copenhagen and Croatia too much Vlasic wanted the foul here's Koke easily done Gaia to block out Pedrianic's move going Ferran Torres it's Pedri for something finds Torres on a free header and Cesar Azpilicueta has his first ever Spanish goal finishing off a flowing Spanish move he's led from the front and he's put Spain in front for the first time this afternoon great play that is from the Spanish just nice and patient playing through the thirds lovely cross into the box you're expecting much Kramaric hasn't seen all the header which your centre forward didn't in the first half yet Croatia again Azpilicueta in the right place Saravia's cross towards Morata as Brozovic helps it on correct this is good from Croatia and Simon called into action that's really good play from Croatia that is really good play doesn't look to cross mistake he made in the first half that gifted Croatia their goal Koke by Laporte and Morata pokes it in the referee Spain leading by two goals to one play that is from Morata great play brilliant play Pedri bundled over perhaps see another outfit from him for Spain go forward this is another mistake from Croatia and it's wrapped up that's a really good finish from Ferran Torres there really good finish it's a really I'm not going to say it's a it's an aimless pass but it's a it's a pass that shouldn't really harm Croatia from left hand side to the right hand side he knows as well in Saint Petersburg on Friday against Ilif Morata still battling Fabian Ruiz his defenders can't really affect the game like he normally does slightly higher setting the tempo pulling the strings however you want to pressure switched off once again pulls it back did that stay out it didn't it's a goal for Croatia what an almighty scramble Spain made such a mess of that and now they've put themselves under pressure here and there's the noise from the fans I was asking for out to the far side numbers in the box here for Croatian as they have final opportunity it might come here the shot taken early and it's wide Orsic with the delivery late late equalizer for Croatia to surely send this game to extra time what a run what a run into the is he after about Kramaric oh a chance here so close from Orsic he's gone chance and a great block here's Olmo is Olmo taken down by Morata what a strike the much maligned forward has put Spain back in front and back in control of this knockout game is there only a matter of time for Spain going to get another two goal lead yes they are surely this time they've sealed their place Mikel Oyaz about it's gonna have to do it all alone Morata good play on a chance playing for Real Madrid as well onto the loose ball here showing a good turn of pace it's Morata here's Morata another opportunity for him Croatia three Spain five
